(OOC: @Gzilla: wormhole teleportation leaves no traces. If Gwen had merely slowed the local time, she would have been trackable.)
The party stepped through the portal. Gwen looked around with amazement. At first, she was hesitant to step onto the pathway, as it seemed empty and void except for the exotic glowing artwork lining it. Every step sounded like footfalls on glass. The sky, black though it seemed, was dotted with even blacker pixelated dust. She extended her hand and collected a single particle to examine it.
Though it had neither form nor substance, she knew it was watching her. It radiated a dark energy that seemed to contort the mind and twist the soul, weaving it into its own likeness. When she redirected its energies back on itself, it turned white. She released it to the stale air, where it floated and remained.
The party had gone ahead of her, so she ran to catch up with them.
ALICE
I stand in front of the group, my holographic shield taking the whole damage. I turn, taking another sip from the hookah pipe and blowing it onto Gwen. I wave again, a portal opening up on the inside of the portal, almost a half-mile away "Get in the portal. Don't look at the beasts. Just run for that exit. Remember. DON'T LOOK AT THEM OR THEY WILL SEE YOU!" I wave my hand, and the portal moves, swallowing them. I turn to Axis, smiling. "Well, how lovely your parents must have thought of you." I say calmly. Seatus had neither Mother nor Father role in his life, and he didn't turn all sour for it. I hold up my gun at Axis, and lightning breaks the sky, and I am gone, and Axis has a portal in front of him...
