Divine mantle piercing max... Maybe 8-9kce, as piercing isn't one of its main base stats...

Well, did you read UV's post? .__. I followed his suggestion to make a new forum thread. Your original idea of the thread was to has a list of accessories and items in the first posts, and people can scan through that. However, people began asking questions about their specific items, and we answered. What we answered was not the "Official price", as nobody can put a set price on that. A price "appraisal" would be a more accurate description of what your thread has become. Like UV, I also had my doubts about calling a thread official and going so far as to put it into the wiki, when it was not created by a GM. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it wasn't a good idea, just that my main issue with that is the word "official" as well as the deviation from your intended idea. As so far as to this thread replacing that one, I wouldn't go that far, I'd just call this a... continuation, if you will. What this thread is for is giving my opinion on a value of a certain item, and other people giving their opinion, so we can reach a general consensus about the average worth of an item. This is different from your thread, so I suppose it's not a replacement. Glad to see you're back :3

You have been posting at my thread since day 1 and did not understand the purpose lol. The name of my thread is just a name I could have called it anything. Its official in the sense that it was unique and the only thread of its kind providing price checks. The list was a compilation of prices that was updated based on the opinion of many people. In essence there was 2 components a list and a price checking service. I think what happened was after reading UV post was that it seemed you were the only one posting on my thread giving out price checks. That gave a biased opinion and so defeated the purpose of my thread. What you have here is not a unified thread as again your the only one helping which is commendable. That is the difference between the Official thread and this one. Looks like your the only one helping out and no1 is willing or just too busy to help as well. Which is a good thing for my thread as I did not want only one or a few people giving thier opinions. Anyway what I produced was a highly successful thread that reached the highest amount of replies in the shortest amount of time than any other thread in existence on the forums. On top of that we have helped countless of people. So me leaving and my thread becoming an example of how people willing to help others can achieve such a hieght is respectable at the least. I did say in my op that I have never failed in what I do, there were alot of doubters, we know who they are but I can honestly say that my threads accomplishments speak for itself and I was honoured to moderate and be a part of a great group of people. Now I wish you luck with this thread and hope you moderate this as honest and price check as best as you can. To be as succ3ssful as my thread you need more people giving thier opinion and discussing prices, find people you know are honest and wont try to derail your thread, it will be tough but it has been done and can be done again. I wont say my thread is perfect, it was the first time anything like that was done. Learn from my mistakes and provide a price checking service as good as mine. Good luck mate.

Wolver piercing high: 1.7-2.2kce

Twilight aura: these are rare... I have no idea, not even a ballpark figure, except I know it's probably at least 40kce
Twinkle Aura: maybe the prices have started to rise? Last I remember, it's around 7-9kce
Vacant eyes probably 1-1.5kce, I myself am not that sure

And also, I do not want to call this "my" thread. It's a thread, which anyone can ask and answer questions on. double max shield. 10-20k ce.
UV...why such a wide range??
Because: Great Defender is a less than desirable shield. Really its BTS>all else. in the all else category its CoA > all else. The grey owlite and volcanic plate shield should be equal to CoA, imo, but it becomes a popularity contest.
So, 10k ce is about what its worth from a functionality standpoint, but when you are buying UVs you are accepting that you are paying above ad beyond functionality. And to that extent, when you are buying a double max UV you are clearly paying for the prestige of having a double max shield.
A few notes for Apop:
#1. a double max + med skovler cap (good UVs too, i was sad i wasn't on to win it) sold for 780k in AH. This was a nice PvP peice too, i know it had shadow max, i want to say it was shadow + normal +shock/pierce med. but can't say for sure. i know shadow max was one, but can't say 100% what the other max or medium was. Point being, it was a double max pvp gear, whereas this shield will never have a pvp home....ITS A SHIELD!!!!
--also it should not be discounted that shields are the easiest defensive item to roll quality uvs on. no poison, curse, stun things to worry about.
#2. I see a recurring theme of being less than civil to kenshi, in no small part....in sole part i should say...because he once tried to trade something he didn't own. this is, was, and will always be reprehensible behavior. But lets not hold it against him in perpetuity. He made a shady mistake, lets assume that it was poor judgment and that the derision of the bazaar forum has shined light upon the error of his ways. Lets not continue to cast shadows of moral doubt on him with his subsequent price checks. Its perfectly reasonable and understandable if he is seeking price checks on things he might wish to buy. in fact, the community at large should probably seek price checks more on stuff they want to buy, its surprisingly 99% what can i sell this for and only 1% what should i buy this for.
at any rate, as far as i know kensh has only had one seriously regrettable error in judgement and consequent action. I'd like to think it was just that, and having been informed, he realizes the error of his ways and has rehabilitated those actions. Lets not define him by his worst action. He has been reprimanded and seems to have acclimated. Give him a second chance at being a good dude and a market mover.
--if he's a repeat offender and i'm unaware i recant those statements, lol.
long story short: lets not hold one poor sportsmanship against kensh. mistakes in teh past should not be forgotten, but should be forgiven.

just sell those darn wings for ce/crowns already. you've been trying to trade them for this or that forever, just sell them and use a more liquid asset (cr/ce) to buy what you want. It comes down to simple business. If they are worth 10k/700k as you keep offering them, then just sell them for that and offer real currency for the items you want.
If not you are just offering a liability for someones assets. "here, i'll trade you the need to sell military wings for your item!!" people don't want to sell one item for the need to sell another item. If you want to trade a unsolicited item for an item you want then you need to discount your item. It would make sense if you said "i have military dragon wings approx 10k ce value, i'll trade them @6k ce value for your item." thus giving someone a good deal to accept your item. if you are trading unsolicited items than you need to offer whats known as an "overpay." or also known as "undervaluing" your item.

Lastly, the Military Dragon Wings are so hard to sell. I play SK quite often and I spend hours trying to sell it on /1,/trade and /shout in havens and I don't seem to get a good offer or get it sold. I would appreciate some advice on selling if it is possible.
