Also, I plan to use Dervenin right away. I also plan to kill him. Not now, but soon.

Gwen waved to everyone. "Hi! My name is Gwenyvier, but you can call me Gwen. Welcome to our hideout!" She beckoned to someone they couldn't see, and a man in Heavy Demo armor stepped out of the shadows. He shoved his Khorovod into the floor and crossed his arms. "Hmm. Good morning," he grunted. Harry waved to him cheerfully. "Alloh zere! I'm hairy Harry; who are you?" The man replied, "Dervenin. You annoy me." Harry clapped his hands and wiped a happy tear from his eye as he said, "My life...is complete!" Dervenin grunted and turned to Gwen. "Do you have a purpose for these numbskulls?" Her mouth turned down slightly, and planted her hands on the table. "I do indeed. Hold your tongue." Dervenin nodded and sat down on the floor.
Taric raised his hand to speak, and Gwen turned her attentions to him. Taric asked, "Why did you bring us here? What mission did you have for us?" Gwen smiled at him. "On the contrary, I was inclined to do you a service. Someone is pursuing you, correct?" Taric's eyes widened. "How did you know!? This is the first time I've met you!" Gwen straightened and crossed her arms. "I put two and two together. I know things," she said with a wink. Taric shook his head in disbelief. "Well, now that you mention it, I suppose maybe you could...I dunno...hold him off while we escape?"
Gwen leaned forward and replied, "Escape to where?"
"Well...um...uh...I dunno...to Haven?"
Gwen narrowed her eyes.
"...okay, maybe not Haven...how about..."
"Here."
"No! I mean, uh...no, I don't like living around...um, around grem-"
Now it was Harry's turn to narrow his eyes at him.
"Well, what I mean to say is...how about Moorcroft Manor!"
Gwen rolled her eyes.
"Well...ugh! Where should I stay?"
"Here."
Taric groaned and dropped his hands. "No!...I don't want to live here permanently."
Gwen paced up to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. "To be honest, I don't either. But it's all we've got, okay? Haven is sick, Moorcroft Manor is disgusting, and Emberlight is too dangerous to travel to and from. You'll be much safer here in New Emberlight. Now, I can't guarantee that someone still won't find and kill you here, but it's much less likely with well-trained and well-armed gremlins out and about at all hours. Zedd isn't stupid, Taric. He knows the danger, and he wouldn't provide refuge if he couldn't protect anyone."
She slung on a Gray Feather cloak. "Now, about your pursuer: who am I looking for?" Taric stepped up to the table and drew a quick sketch. "You're looking for a guy in a Vitasuit with a Solid Cobalt helm. I don't know much else about him. Surely I can help?" Gwen shook her head. "No. I think I know the man, and...well, let's just say it wouldn't be a good idea for you to be seen with me." Taric raised an eyebrow, but said nothing. Gwen slipped on her Gray Feather hood and pressed the button to open the passageway. She stopped, thought for a moment, and turned around. "Dervenin, keep watch over the shop for me." Dervenin stood up and saluted. "Yes madam." Gwen nodded and went up the passageway. It closed with a loud hiss, leaving them supposedly safe from their enemies.
