Oh don't get me wrong Bopp, I do not dislike it when other people pick at my thread, I embrace it with open arms. I have been playing this game for many years (as I assume you have) and I am happy to chew up and spit out the trolls who try to discredit good information with factually-lacking rants about things they don't agree with.
I keep a full bag of troll food, feeding the trolls is is what i thrive on :D
Let's compare this thread to Darkbrady's "Highlander Loadout" thread. Your thread gives advice on the most powerful, popular items in the game. Darkbrady discusses unpopular weapons and gives thoughtful, nuanced arguments for how they work together.
Is Darkbrady's loadout as "powerful" as your load out? Under most definitions of "powerful", probably not. Therefore, new and intermediate players should learn about your loadout, before they learn about his. But experienced players, who have read about Chaos and brandishes 100 times, probably find your thread tedious and simplistic, and Darkbrady's thread novel and interesting. So they go out of their way to pick at your thread.
By the way, my own sword guide suffers from the same issue: It's all basic advice for new and intermediate players, that experienced players know all too well. This really drives home the key problem of writing anything anywhere: Know your audience. (And don't be surprised when people outside your audience don't see much value in what you've written.)
