Vana strat: Keep one slag up, AP the living daylight out of him, put out any fire patches in middle of the area, try to keep a few of his bullets out for easier time hitting him. Don't stand in glowing spots, mask phase wait for the fire on mask to get knocked out wail away then rinse and repeat.
I have yet to down Vanaduke myself, but I have soloed Firestorm a time or two with only one revive at most and managed to push Vana into phase 3 solo.

UPDATE!

Managed three full runs last night with a good bunch of knights found in a PUG with great strategies which i will be following from here on out. We cooperated very well which resulted in about 2 ce revives between the four of us. I am still nowhere near ready to lead or carry any group, but i'm miles ahead of where i was last post.
I'm packing a DA, Volt Driver, CIV, and a Silversix
I sport the Grey Feather set and a Grey Owlite shield
for the most part I am best at cornering slags(stage one), watering and bashing with my CIV(stages two and four), and i make dousing the lava my priority on stages 3 and 5. Im currently working on learning the proper methods to trap Vana himself, either with the water in the corners or with my corpse.
Once again, excuse my inexperience, I'm working on that.

Been trying either a combination of Levi (or Glacius can't decide which is better? Any suggestions?), DA, Argent and bomb but I am not much of a bomber so any group with a more dedicated bomber is fine by me. I play with an xbox controller.
I've mostly been playing FSC, mostly solo or pairs for crs and heat. I usually stop before the boss level. Have been frustrated by lack of communication in groups I've been in. Rash charging and constant dying make me sometimes want to rage at the screen lol. But, it's only a game right?
I've fought vana 5-6 times, won 3. I can't stand groups that rage revive. If we have to rev more than once each, I prefer to try again later. The only times I've won have been with a group that froze vana so I'm all down with that.
Add me in game if you want. I've been only playing the vana gate recently (much to the dismay of my guild mates who are stuck in Jelly King. God I hate Jelly king, don't ask me to Jelly run lol)

- For Vana runs I have; Vog Set, Grey Owlite, Shivermist (Med CTR UV), Valiance (ASI Med UV), Polaris, Leviathin (ASI Med UV), Blitz Needle
- I basically have the standard strategy, bump 2 zombies and use shiver or shoot depending on group. I've done 10 or so runs successfully but it's difficult finding a group that is good enough to take Vana down and I'm looking to get a bunch of Seals.

Full Skolver/Full Vog, Grey Owlite with some extra elemental, Polaris, Nitronome, Shivermist, Fire Atomizer, tri-heart, elite bomb focus, Mad Bomber helm, Barbarous Thorn blade, CIV, etcetcetc.
Bsically, I can come as a full swordsman, or a hybrid swordsman/bomber. I should probably step up to 2 trinkets and 2 weapon slots if I start doing this in earnest.
Most of my UVs are low-medium, but my bombs are all CTRlow.
I want that blackened crest, and the farming money to buy more UVs. MOAR I SAY.

My view on FSC
I am not here to offer my services for Vanaduke runs seeing as I am only at 4 and 5 star, and not fully 5 star yet. I am here suggesting gear and stuff from my personal viewing experience with runs with friends of mine.
I noticed people tend to go for skolver or vog, and I myself happen to think that makes a lot of sense. Especially with the ASI on Vog. I am personally going after Vog and am almost done doing so, and I truly question Skolver, but this is not the place to do so. (Please feel free to give me a reason if you have one though) I am sure Skolver is great for it, whcih is why I just wanted to slightly bring that up.
Shield, I am currently using a grey owlite, but am aiming for crest of almire series. I need 20 more tokens to get blackened, but CoA seems amazing, though I like the artwork on BC better. ALOT better.
Weapons - I have seen a few different weapons, but I am under the influence of a DA, Polaris combo for no weapon upgrades, and Shivermist Buster and any other relevant weapon for 2 upgrades. I hear Freeze helps alot on him, no clue why. But apparently there is many freeze vials circulating FSC. So I take advantage of it when I can.
Trinket I have noticed to be dependant on weapons and UV combo on gear already. I am aiming to get Max ASI for my future DA, have Avenger for now. And extra damage bonus and CTR as well. Or probably something for my future Polaris since the shots on Gigawatt take so long to reach a target.

About this Knight:
Cautious of nature and always trying to preserve resources if viable. A relatively fast learner should his actions prove insufficient.
Mains the Divine Avenger for the most part, and frequently uses it to push back enemy hordes. Switches to Barbarous Thorn Blade to deal with Trojans or to quickly make way out of a mob. Electron Vortex is mainly used to keep enemies in one place, and is used for stalling and crowd control. Uses Argent Peacemaker for a swift distance attack if needed, also used to draw attention of Trojans and stalling.
