Armour: full vog (med curse, med shadow), full deadshot (med fire, high stun), full skolver (med normal, low shadow), divine veil (high curse), snarby coat (med fire). I favour a DV/deadshot mix but I mix it up.
Weapons: DA (med undead), shivermist (med CTR), fang of vog, glacius (med slimes), storm driver (vh fiends), DVS (high gremlins), BTB
Shield: Grey owlite.

Method: I do all rooms on D25 and I'm not interested in skipping things unless you specifically want to do a speed run (and I mean a proper speed run). For vana I usually prefer to freeze him, at least until I know everyone in the party is competent enough to handle not freezing him. I solo with a blitz without deaths so I can handle him unfrozen. I prefer to be blitzing vanaduke but I'm happy to shiv and happy to be on slag duty. Slags only need one person to handle them so if no on in the party feels they can handle them alone, I will do it in the interest of efficiency.

I'm a fairly casual player since coming back from a hiatus so if you're looking for someone to do several runs a day, or even daily runs, I'm not much use to you. I'm on game time +8 and only usually around in the evenings.

I've killed Vana about thirty times now, so while I'm not the most experienced, I'm capable.

Outfit I typically bring: Full Vog Cub, Divine Avenger, Faust (for the slimes), Strike Needle, and Freezing Atomizer (it'll be a Shivermist as soon as I've got the energy to craft) if no one else has a Shiver, Dark Thorn Blade if someone does have it. I'm constantly trying to improve both gear and skills - I've got a ways to go.

As for strategies...

First stage: Pretty straightforward, usually kill slags as someone freezes Vana, then either charge Strike Needle or attack with Dark Thorn Blade always from behind.

Second: Have someone assigned to watering the mask, the rest of us hack/shoot away.

Third: Essentially the same as first, but only with Strike Needle.

Fourth: Same as second.

Fifth: I'd say, have the same person shivering Vana as always, with nobody else attacking him so that the shiverer (The legitimacy of that word is questionable at best, but whatever) has his aggro and can stay behind him. The rest of us kill the slag guards as quickly as possible - if there's three of us, having whoever has shown the most skill in the previous levels taking on one guard whilst the other two handle the other. Always keeping the guards on the left and right walls away from the Shiverer (That really rolls off the tongue. :P), the solitary warrior feinting out the guard while the duo disparate from that dude stays on either side of the guard, the one distracting him whilst the other attacks. After they're dead, shoot Vana. Rinse and repeat as they respawn repetitively as our resolute rogues rally to render them into rock, and oh wow I don't know why I'm alliterating. One of those things, I guess. I promise I won't do this on the run.

And if any of that goes wrong? I guess just improvising and trying to return to the original plan.

What gear/weapons would you use for the Citadel? - I use Vog Cub Cap and Vog Coat with Da, Argent Peacemaker/Polaris, Shivermist Buster, Final Flourish.

What gear/weapons do you currently have? Can you meet the standard of not being one-hit-ko-ed by Slag Walkers? I have Vog Cub Coat and Skolver Cap(actually I only need 2k CR but by the time this is read I will have it.), Volcanic Plate Shield, Silversix/Prisma Driver, and If I have weapon slots I bring my Grand Flourish and a Electron bomb/Freezing Atomizer

What would be your strategy of taking down big-bad Vanaduke? I kite with my Silver and when slags come use Freezing Atomizer. Vanas never really hard :P

You don't have to answer them all, I just want to know that you won't be coming in proto gear. :D

Well, I have all 3 sets of cloaks except the feather hood. The barborillous thorn shield, I have the 5* hammer from hell (that's my name for it being its surpriseingly nice for vana runs, divine avenger and cold iron with its supoevly better advantage against undead, ouh I also have skolver set even though it has no fir resistance but the extra cutting strength is nice. Argentina peacemaker and many other cutting and shooting tools.

Strategy for Vana:

As I don't have Shivermist/Blitz Needle yet, my main part in Vana groups is watering the mask and taking care of the spawns. And reviving downed players.
