Well it was stupid of me but, l'm someone who holds trust very highly. I'll often be too trusting with people l've known for a long time. I've given amounts as high as 100k CE to friends for them to borrow, l trust they'll pay it back whatever the amount is. Frankysoldier, the scammer, my 'friend', he's been on my list for a long time, he was friendly or supposedly so, so l didn't think he would be capable of something like this so l decided to be foolish. He had asked to buy a pair of Divine Valkyrie Wings from me, my price being 22000 CE. He said he had a steam wallet code worth $50 which gets you 20000 CE, so l asked 'How about that code and 2k CE from you then?', he agreed. It was actually hilariously ironic now that l recall the events in detail but he was being a pain, since l was asking him to give me the code first so l could test it and then l'd give him the items. He was a pain and kept saying 'l've been scammed before doing this, sorry l don't want to give the code first, it's ok just forget about the trade then.' As l said, l'm too trusting with people l've known for a long time, and he seemed pretty desperate for the wings so l agreed to trade the wings first. He then gave me a code, it didn't work, l should have known something was up when he said 'I'm sorry let me get the wings back from my brother, l didn't mean for this to happen.' I was in a hurry to get off so l wasn't fully aware, plus the whole l had known him for a long time thing so my guard was already down. He said he had another code and that he would go get it then came back and said this code apparently was for $100, l just wanted to get things over and done with as l had to be off as soon as possible but l didn't want to have to take back the wings since he wanted or 'wanted' them so badly so l said l'd give him the remaining energy to make up for the extra $50 ($100 gets you 45000 CE, my wings were 22000 CE, so the difference would be 23000 CE that l'd give him for the code). After l gave it to him, he deleted me, locked his guild hall 'Royals' and then logged off. Silly me. He basically scammed me right under my nose, telling me how he would do it right to my face 'l've been scammed before by giving people the code first and then them running off with it', and then also gave me several chances to not get scammed when he kept saying 'l'm sorry l'll return the wings'. I'm just too trusting with people l've known for a long time..
