This thread's way more toxic than Lockdown. And for that matter, more toxic than forty-two Venom Veilers going off simultaneously in a dilapidated nuclear power plant's fifteen-years-uncleaned septic tank.
Now, I wish I could take a look at those posts on the Jemps' forums, to really evaluate if they conclude Mawashimono did that stuff or not (I'm not registered on the Jemps' forums), but if it's true, Mawashimono has some issues that aren't going to go away even if Lockdown is wiped off the face of Cradle. I know how it feels to be starved for attention, but posting someone else's photos as photos of yourself is not the way to go about resolving such an issue. And it's illegal. And wrong.
Even if Leone's story is false, there really is no excuse for calling people "pus" and it's not right to make comments with the intention of causing strife ("baiting simpletons into rage posting"). I'm just glad my guild is comparatively drama-free.
And there's honestly no excuse for some of the other comments I've heard here. "Kill yourself"? Really? Even if we were to put all morality aside, do you want to be arrested? Mawashimono may be extreme in her anti-Lockdown views, but she raises a good point; if this was the kind of conversation I heard in Lockdown all the time, I'd agree with her that Lockdown (or at least the ability to /p chat in Lockdown) needs to go. Alas, this isn't what I hear in Lockdown- this thread is more like one of those aforementioned unmoderated TF2 trade servers. (So many whiny super-egotistical Snipers...)
As far as gender differences in regards to video game preference go, I've noticed that there is a trend towards women/girls preferring gory games less than men/boys. But of course there's exceptions to every rule; I've seen girls playing TF2, and granted, TF2 is like a Pixar cartoon graphics-wise, but it's gory as all get-out.
Now I personally think we should put this drama behind us and actually start enjoying the game. If anyone would like to (CALMLY AND RATIONALLY) debate balance or discuss strategy, there's threads for that around here. But enough of these enraged insults and backhanded sarcasm.

@DSB - the only threads that debate balance calmly and rationally are the ones no one knows about, and they only stay that way until people find them. Then they turn into ***holes like the rest of this forum.
Actually, scrap that. I've never seen a balance thread go one page without someone either trolling, attacking others, or raging.

Lockdown is good in my opinion. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.
I am sure everyone can agree that the lockdown community sucks. While there are many toxic people out there, most of them are not. My guild masters, officers, and pretty much everyone else are some of the nicest people I have ever known.
On the the topic of toxic guilds. Yes, many guilds can be interpreted as toxic, but again, most of them are not. The comments that have been made about that were generalizations.

toxic or not, i guess that's how the communities goes basically everywhere u can reach on the internet. u can't prevent them, but u can try not to be one of them.
back to LD. being a noob, i don't care, i just join in for the fun. but ppl get angry because of a noob like me was in their team. so? they say i shouldnt even play LD becuz i s***s. well guess what? in the end they rage quit whenever i was in their team. talking bout sportmanship huh? being a pro is not just about skill, it's about how u can support ur weaker allies and overcome... whatever, i dont think such thing exist. pro so what? they insult weaker players for ruining the game. NO, it's them who are ruining the fun atmosphere by insulting people. THERE'S NO RULES SUCH AS NOOBS CANNOT PLAY LD, u mad bro? i don't even give an F about them. yeah u don't like it, just don't play. don't bash about the LD community when u know some of them are purposely drawing attention. it's just like feeding the troll. and i believe those kind of players doesn't just appear in LD, they're basically everywhere.
whatever it is, there is no reason to bash each other. because the real trolls are the main reason we are fighting each other, and they are hiding behind enjoying these. in the end who ends up hurting? US, for what? for nothing.
