Mawashimono takes a break from the hectic schedule of her Cradle-wide 100th Week as Top Princess Victory Celebration Tour to slip into a cafe, where she flips open her laptop to peruse the news back home. Her white elbow-length silk gloves provide little warmth in the winter chill, but she finds a nice flame war in a subforums where she can warm them.

She sips her hot cafe-au-lait while she chuckles at the posts.

(cough-cough-cough) She suddenly errupts in a coughing fit, distressed to find that she has agreed with that hot-chocolate swilling Belgiumite cad Fey-Fey, not once, but twice - TWICE! - in the same thread.

"I seriously can't stop laughing when I imagine how serious the person who wrote this takes himself."

"See, this kind of demeaning attitude and misplaced sense of superiority is what gets you the hate in the first place really."

After removing the unnecessary comma from the second quote, she delicately wipes her rose-red lips with a napkin and contemplates this upsetting turn of events.

Could there be a hidden agenda here? Is it more than just bluster and buffoonery?

Her thoughts are interrupted by her cell phone ringing to the tune of Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's "Fashion Monster" - her agent calling. Oh, well, off to meet with more adoring fans and adorable cos-play imitators.

i don't think that's your line; in fact, i'm not even sure you're in much of a position to call anyone out on... well, anything

the lack of creativity in these first-person narratives combined with the lack of depth/development and overemphasis on the minutia of their portrayed daily life just really drives home the narcissistic personality of the supposed "heroine" that you're attempting to glorify, while at the same time highlighting your only forte of attempting to undermine the credibility of those they write about - i use the phrase "attempting to", because rarely do you do even an adequate job of proving any kind of point that would be considered logically accurate in any realm of writing. this can clearly be seen through your most recent post, where the most that you were able to accomplish is establish a foundation for racial bigotry on your part, and use your commanding knowledge of the english language as a creative writer to remove a comma from a sentence before showcasing your own inability as a writer by incorrectly hyphenating "cosplay" as "cos-play". all of this is completely ignoring your lack of resources in terms of consulting a thesaurus as far as word choice is concerned, as many fictional writers would likely cringe at the root word "adore" being used so closely together within the same section, let alone the same sentence.

now, it is important to establish the amount of subjectivity and previously established knowledge that many posters bring to these sorts of threads in order to fully grasp how little you actually knows about the material at hand. this is evident through their lack of addressing any key points brought up, starting from the time of this thread's creation up through this very point and instead choosing to disguise your ignorance through poorly-crafted first person narrative, which only serves to further establish the glaring insecurities you seem to have about yourself; all of which is conceptualized through your projection of inadequacies upon your intended "victim" the writing is meant to lambast

Congrats on getting 100 straight weeks as the #1 PvP guild by farming with your alt guild the minion of jempire instead of facing other guild like everybody else like true men.

All you guys are is a joke that every guild pretty much ignores (almost everyone) and continue there business when your guild just farm farm and more farm. And if there a guild that is starting to get close, what you do? farm some more because that's what you mostly do when I look into spectator.

What's makes it more sad is that you gloat at everyone too make yourselves look superior and make other guilds look like a joke even thou your guild are the joke. I think other guilds that don't farm the leaderboard are truly 1#.

This is all I have to say for now and hope the Jempire have a change of heart, oh wait... they will never change.

Also Ruby you lied about your retirement I guess RIFE wasn't good enough for you and your so called A Team and you guys wasn't skilled enough.

Clearing the air.

Well there's lots of things to say and maybe even defend in this thread, and normally I never post here or even view the forums haha, but for anyone who actually does genuinely care, I have something to say.

We don't actually "farm", we simply play our own members to train and have fun while no other guilds are playing. We never let either team win on purpose, both teams try their hardest to win, and sometimes Minions win too. For any guild that has tried to intercept our matches while we were the only ones playing, you'd know we'd gladly keep playing you and usually drop one team so we can continue to play real GvG matches with participating guilds. Sadly, this doesn't happen often because most guilds aren't very active in GvG on a daily basis and we are still shooting for first, so it kind of really only leaves us one thing to do.

So there you have it, maybe that clears a thing or two for some people who were wondering. For anyone that still wants to hate on us and say we farm, that's your right as a human and I can respect that so please, continue, but I've only spoken the truth.

Also thank you to anyone who congratulated us on 100 weeks, we appreciate it and enjoy having you guys to play with in the Spiral Knights community.

@ Ragol - Thank you for that excellent post. Actually, they already know what you said is true about playing your alt guild when there are no other guilds to play, which I imagine is pretty much most of the time. If people in your gulid want to play lockdown to a degree that seems obsessive to some of us, that's certainly your right, but I'd hate to be an enabler of unhealthy habits no matter how fun they might seem to the person invloved, so I'll draw the line at actually saying "congratulations". Instead I'll just say "Best wishes on your continued enjoyment of the game."

@ Exceta - Hi! One of your first posts? Really?!?! Awesome! Some people take themselves and this game very seriously and get quite upset at your guild and at me for making threads like this (see above). It can be entertaining, but just don't ever become like them, and you were wise not to respond to any of them directly. Rather, try to be entertaining with your writing like I do, or just make a nice straightforward and polite post like your guildmate Ragol.

Hmmm, I never considered that Jempire might be inadvertently stealing members from other guilds. I think it's bad for the game to have one guild so dominating a mini-game, which is why I'd like to see some way for guilds to enjoy more relaxed games through some kind of direct challenge mode or something.

If people are trying to join Jempire so they can, in the words of one of their guild members, "share in the Jempire glory", then they deserve each other.

Soo, I am not going to take sides here, but I just want to clear something for you Kraky. What Feyi, others, and I *sometimes* hate in Jempire is simply, basically, and honestly is their attitude. I have a lot of friends in Jempire, that's a fact. But some members, without mentioning names, patronize other guilds and defend some blatant statements with the tone of: "I am better than you, so shut up." Pretty sure you know that I don't give a BLT sandwich about the leaderboards, but IT IS annoying when some of you defend the way you get absurd amount of points with such generic and lame excuses. Like c'mon, bazillion points of just training? I wouldn't mind if Jempire says: "We aim to be the top #1 guild on leaderboards, and we will do anything for that.", with that, I ain't mad if they farm or not, because originally, I don't care about the leaderboards. But in the current situation, they just don't want to say: "Yes, we do farm points."

Not every guild has 300 members (Exaggerating right now) to do in-house gvg for fun OR "points". So saying: "If it's easy, then do it" is plain dumb. In the end, the one to blame is OOO for not giving a way to play GvG/RLD with friends without rank points to deny any intention of doing "winning by cheating" methods.

And yeah, congratulations for the 100 weeks, that's absolutely a decent achievement that shows the dedication of Jempire for that #1 spot. *BE IT EITHER WITH CHEATING OR NOT*

So lemme get this straight: Nobody here gives half a crap about the LD leaderboards, but when Jempire comes along and says they've held #1 spot in GvG for 100 weeks everyone rages? So if they're farming it illegitimately, why does everyone make a big deal out of it in the first place? If they wanna brag let them brag. Apparently everyone's opinion on "leaderboards are pointless" is not the case here. Just another fine display of the tremendous amount of brain cells 90% of this game's community is lacking.

Since I posted my two cents on this thread I wouldn't be the slightest bit surprised if someone comes along and decides to write a novel of hate/rage/crying at me. If you do please go for it. I'm SOOOO interested.

It feels like one guild ruined gvg ld for everyone, including themselves, by just spending so much time and energy on it. Now no one wants to play guild ld because the games against jemp just aren't fun.

We need to be able to directly challenge guilds, and the option of how many players, such as 1, 3, or 6-person teams.

That why i like when ruby call me to play with minions vs jemps. For dat current leaderboard everyone know it only show who is the most active, not the best! Most of time im top5 on this leaderboard did it mean im the top5 player of this game? i dont think so. At this moment i heard 21 have 3x more win vs jempire at gvg did i make an forum threads anywhere? No. Did bcuz we have 3x more win vs jemps mean we are better then them? No.

Jemps don't have a BN chapter.
Jemps don't have Jim-Dale.

Lastly, if anyone cared for the spot, it's simple as getting 3 guilds to join up for a week. A week of nothing but t1 gvg ld.
Different rules. Longer matches. No instagibs even with a hammer. And best of all, still counts on a certain leaderboard.

Infinites can be used for training but so can finites. In an infinite game, you will have tons of time to practice but only your combat skills. There's no cooporation, capping strategy, etc.
You can't win GLD by just being good at fighting.

I've been here a while, and I can tell you what makes the Jempire a terrible guild, for example Ruby is the worst leader of all time.
It's like being lead by space hitler. Or how the Jempire will only take you if you can hit over 20k in LD. And how you can never have any fun or excitement about the game thanks to Kuger. And how that scumbag Legend will over price his stuff, 5kce for scissor blades, as if. This guild sucks, this ragol guy makes kickass music and then gives you the option not to pay for it, really, you're going to guilt trip me? This place sucks.

But the thing I hate the most is how the people here can take a joke, the scumbags.

And don't even get me started on that sooth guys sarcasm.

@Ezho, I should have clarified a bit, some matches we used specifically to train, as in we start them up only in order to train some new members. Others we play simply to get more points for that week so we are further ahead. In my opinion there is no shame in what we choose to do with minions so I don't mind admitting that.

@Scirio, I'm not sure who you ask but I'm sorry you're getting that response, I know whenever I'm on (which is late night US Eastern time) I'm always wanting to GvG with real guilds, it's the only reason I log in. I know others want that too, so not really sure what's happening there.

Sooth, I don't really know you or interact with any members of The Jempire, but you've been around a while and sincerely seem to want some answers, so here goes.

A lot of us know and like many members of The Jempire, although these days I know very little about the current membership. Damon-Drake was wonderfully helpful and Kuger was adorable and friendly. The problem is with the attitude and conduct of the guild as a whole in regards to Lockdown.

Your guild is basically the playground bully. While most guilds play fine together in occasional and casual games, yours trains (trains fer cryin out loud!) and plays hours a day in order to dominate the mini-game.

I mean, how many hundreds of games a week do you have to play for your two guilds to amass that many points on the leaderboard?

It just sucks the fun out of it for your opponents, and also harms your ability to find a good (i.e. competitive) game.

Furthermore, if some guild should dare to try to challenge your guild for the #1 spot on the leaderboard, you essentially cheat with an alt guild.

And you’re not just a bully – you’re a bully who likes to brag and pat himself on the back while insulting and making fun of other players and guilds. In fact, the majority of the content on your website basically serves to do one or the other.

Why? Why do you feel it so necessary to do that?

Week in and week out, you collectively give the middle finger to the rest of the community. It’s only natural that people would dislike any guild that behaves so.

Frankly, you’ve done a lot to earn your terrible reputation. And it seems like you’ve just gotten worse and worse as your streak goes on. I know, I know, your guild motto is “We don’t care and we’re not gonna change.”

But if The Jempire would truly like to be the #1 guild, why not do some things for the spiral knights community, like take one week off a month, open your guild hall, say nice things about other guilds and players, remove and ban the insults, sarcastic comments, and personal attacks that litter your website and in-game comments.

We’d all be much happier and better off if you did, and then you’d have something to legitimately be proud of.

Minions only happens when no other guilds are willing to play. So....yea any guild can challenge us but if they drop after 2 matches even if they win and we get bored and people wanna play what do we do?

Also Mawa I don't go to your house and point out what you keep in your fridge, I'll expect the same respect from you.

And also we say GG at the end of every match, win or lose, so being a bully isn't something you can pin on us.

So I'm still in the dark about all this. I just don't get it, maybe I don't have the super computing brain you seem to have.

That would get you kicked from jempire, and as for "spamming rev" and "Polaris" suck it up, revs are free anyway, and anyone can buy a Polaris.

If its a friend and your jokingly saying that then whatever but we don't let people join who complain about petty things. And I would know how Jempire recruits, I did it for a year.
