To tell the truth, there aren't any other Tortodrone Discussion Threads which at least are made for the purpose of it. "Is This Tier 4?" is a question-based thread reflecting on whether the Tortodrone update will be Tier 4 or not. My obvious guess is "no", and even that thread should be properly discussed here, where multiple accounts regarding the future update should be discussed.

SkepticRaven, you do realize those threads were posted before this release. Back then we were unsure if there would be a Tortodrone update or not. Now that there will, this is the thread for discussing the images above, possibilities, additions, etc.

Alright, let me do my job as a deduction acolyte.
First up, notice how there's bombs or other explosives soon to drop over the map, as indicated by the red circles. There's also those Shock Spikes you see when fighting Arkus's third stage. The Tortodrone looks like it's stuck in a Vortex. If you noticed, there are blast boxes with white circles in the center, and also Blast Cube drops. The Tortodrone seems like a Trojan-fied version, indicated by the large purple crystal on the shell. The head looks similar to the forum avatar one here, but purple, further supporting the corrupted or Trojany theory. The Tortodrone looks almost like one brought back from the dead; zooming in, metal bands are visible on each fragment of shell, holding it back together. It's probably Undead, given the fact that in the second picture, an Argent Peacemaker is used, and in the first, a Barbarous Thorn Blade is visible. Note that in the first picture, the knight is not using a 5* shield, and the BTB looks more like a DTB actually, so it may be a random generation in the Clockworks, like the Punkin King. It's also possible that the Tortodrone is another Unique Monster Family, like Vanaduke; it seems to have wooden appendages, supporting Construct over Undead.

I have several things to say.
1. You have spammed more threads than I have every spammed. That's saying a lot.
2. The shadow blast boxes blow up into vortexes and pull in any living thing and non-living thing(if you know what I mean.)
3. Devilites have been trying to animate Tortodrones like the way they animate trojan statues. And now have succeeded. They have made it come to life, like the way Arkus came back to life. They animated him with a crystal, and he is now alive, but has shadow attacks in addition to his old move set. This means that Tortodrones are even more powerful than before. This means it will be impossible to take down with a sword on your own. Just go to the wiki page of the tortodrone. It has been brought back as a devilite figure, but I am assuming it would be still weak to elemental or, (like sandwhich said) unique like Vana. I am put under the assumption that you don't have to fight it all the time since the gate isn't purple like before which makes me happy because everytime I fought that little crap, he beat the [scrap] outta me. I am positive he is going to be like the stalker in Warframe. He has a rare chance of appearing, you don't have to fight him, and when he comes you are probably screwed up. I am positive he is not going to be a mob that is only aggressive if provoked, but now just aggresive making him a crapload harder. I know he won't be a boss, but they could make a tortomega a boss still.
