Hello Knights!
I'm sure many of us can agree that whenever we have nothing to do, we search the Auction House. Why not do that when you're on the go?
This will benefit people like me who have to constantly go out and do not have time to check on bids.

looking at your thread there were some interesting bad points
such as it will make the AH really slow and also i guess it will make the server lag way to much as well
It also would make those heavy bidders win everything but thats when the plus side goes for the SK game masters.
If we are able to get enough people to respond or even a game master, i will put up the plus it will have to the SK team.

I love the "you should do this" suggestion.
Okay, how? Who will be working on this? Should they do it in java? Are mobile user gonna play on the same server as steam/kongregate/SK one? Will it be the same game or be shrinked to fit mobile size (you can't install a 2 gig game on a mobile)...
How long would it take for OOO to do this?
So much questions to answer and also one major question: What is the profit OOO will make going to mobile? Is it worth it? (let me work it!)

Let's be realistic for once... What does OOO benefit (as a company) to do this?
Blizzard made authenticator and sell it for 12$ when shipping international and 2$ US. They make profit out of that feature... if SK made an app they would have to get some $$ in return. Yes some game like Flappy Bird makes 50k$ a day but it is played by millions. SK app is not even the full game. ifruit had a lot of problem...
I am all for a portable AH or portable SK... I just don't see it happening
Edit: As a portable game, old SK wiith mist generating back would fit so well in the current market.

I was thinking on saying this afterwards but meh.
What will happen is people would bid much more and will buy the ce off the game. Trust me, i know people who would do that...

We don't need more sniping on the AH. So with AH on a mobile device, the snipers can snipe whenever, anywhere.
It'd be fine if the mobile version had a cap on how much you can pay/bid/buy on the AH, meaning you can't bid on those glow-eyes or hacked aura, but you could bid on that pierce-med wolver coat or that maiden's tear. That way, they can't snipe expensive objects.

This app should also allow you to feed your pet, buy things, sell things (Not trade) and should give notifications on flash sales, and outbids. There should also be a limit to bidding 14 times per day. (24hrs)

Yes, but you should curb it when possible so they don't own the world like they're trying to in real life.
This is actually less about wealth anyway. It's more about giving snipers mobility. You don't have to be rich to snipe stuff on the AH.

Pretty sure a mobile app would alleviate the problem of bid sniping because everyone is given equal opportunity to place a bid on an item, not just the players who can't log into the game due to real life engagements. Increasing the amount of players who are able to bid on items is not bid sniping, it's an open market. It's not like only bid snipers would be permitted to use the mobile app, so stop using that argument, it's dumb.

Here is what I think.
The argument on sniping goes that, as it is now, snipers cannot be true snipers, for they must be extremely close at hand to snipe their target. However, with the introduction of a mobile app, these snipers can snipe items from a long ways away, becoming the snipers these snipers aspire to be, effectively sniping that red chapeau you always wanted.
...honestly though, this wouldn't be TOO much of a problem. Sniping is gonna happen either way. Yes, it might be more prevalent, but it wouldn't be on an apocalyptic scale...

Again, I'm all for it. I don't see the company Three Rings pulling it off sadly. Even if the requirement of the software engineer they want to hire needs to be able to work on devices like SMARTPHONE, TABLETS and other... So if YOU CAN do this, then I think you may have a job at OOO.

Edit: from what you want: SK apps is only an apps that SK player can use, there is your target audiance (let me help you a bit with the apps). SO the only people who will ever consider buying your apps are in-game players. People who want access to AH should pay IRL money for that? You do know that people who already pay in the game can more than often snipe an item or ask a friend to snipe it for them? Again, what is the point of this apps particulary. Buy ce, transfer ce into cr and buy stuff from AH? So it's not making money in any way... You'd have to also have a secure link to your existant payment method to be recoded to fit smartphone...
See how much work there is other than "make an app dur hur"... Well go make a spaceship "hur dur" it's easy... put a rocket on bottom of a tube and launch it...

I don't know anything about programming apps but even if they do an app slowly, I'll be glad to have an AH app for August 2020 XD
And with an AH App they can put banners to profit, if Sega won't pay...

well..
well.. it was thought for play store and apple store, so even if I don't know how kindle works, i think android is included...
You should move this into suggestions, I'm sure it has a chance of being implemented.
