Basically, i came up with a way to translate damage into numbers in Lockdown.
Class: Recon
Weapon: Troika

I was able to get Solarflar to cooperate with me to do this testing. Thanks to him!

Heres what I did: I got the death mark on him. Then, i hit him with the first hit of the troika. He reported 3.5 bars.

First troika hit damage: (According to wiki at Stratum 3): 98 Damage

Because of the Death mark, i did a raw 98 damage to Solar. He reported that the hit took away 3.5 bars.

This means that 98/3.5 = 28

Yay found one

Do "paying" accounts still get their daily Mist? I don't see why not, but I want to be sure...

I moved to Japan a few years ago. It’s a nice place to live, but the transition has been tough. When I started playing Spiral Knights last April, I wasn’t expecting much, and I kind of brought that “It’s the anonymous internet, so it’s okay to be rude” attitude with me. However, this game has a done a lot to fill the gap (cave? canyon? black hole?) in my social life, and I’ve met some really nice players. The game site has begun to feel like a relationship to a group or person.

As the title says this is a new UV for all weapon types. The new UV is "critical hit". This UV has a chance to deal double the damage dealt from the weapon. Low would have a 5% chance, medium would have 10%, high would have 15%, and very high would have 20%.

The percentage of low and medium which are common aren't high otherwise this will kill monsters/bosses much faster making it less fun (ironic this UV is ment to kill monsters faster, but not too fast) . Although high and very high are more likely to happen, but these two are pretty rare to get so the chances should fit in.
