anyone know if there is any solution to link an account that pre-existed the steam release, to steam. Ive been told by my guildys its a project being worked on. but my primary concern (as stupid as it is) i want to know will i still get my spiral sallet. when, or if its fixed

I downloaded the steam version of spiral knights (I did not have it installed prior to this) but i do not have the option of logging in using my steam account details

So I log in, and when i get to the character selection menu, I click my character and it isn't loading the Haven, it just sits at the character selection screen forever.
I think I am sure others are having this problem to, what can we do to fix this? Wait it out or what?

So... I was playing spiral knights fine on steam till the steam patch yesterday and then i couldnt connect so i decided to reinstall the game. when i did, while i was waiting i decided to play online, off the website(new character, yada yada). so when the steam one was done, i wanted to get on my original character, but whenever i start up via steam, it starts, then stops, then starts again and when it pops up, i have the option to login via segapass and facebook but not steam! any suggestions??

I recently downloaded Spiral Knights today through Steam. I logged in automatically with my Steam account and made a Character. But when I try to get into the actual game with my character I'm stuck at the loading screen where it's stuck at 0%. I also tried making an account on this site and logged in with that, but the same issue happened after making my character. I've restarted my computer, re-installed the game and reset my router. I also tested my internet and it's stable and all other games that require an internet connection are fine.

The lag I get on this game is often bad enough to make it unplayable - despite the fact that I'm in California, my computer is more than enough for this game, and I get 1GB/s downloads on a frequent basis. Recently I was at a friend's house with my laptop and we decided to play a little Spiral Knights, and - amazingly, for the first time since I started playing - no lag! I wasn't lagging one bit on his network. I can't figure out why this is, because as I said, I get good download speeds all the time, and have no problems with other online games. Can anyone tell me what's going on here?

Every time I try to log into the game I get disconnected at the login screen. Never changes. Either it disconnects from server error or it just gets stuck. What the hell is causing this problem?

So someone was selling dozens of green and red shards for 1 Crown each. I went and bid on all of them, actually won a few too :D But now if I go to the Bids tab in the Auction House interface the client will become completely unresponsive after about 10 minutes. Eventually I'll get a Java SE crash notice and an option to close Spiral Knights.

Actually, every time I get an outbid notice the client will freeze for up to a minute while it is reloading and redrawing the list. If I get one outbid notice after another it'll just stay frozen the whole time.

Just throwing out a heads-up. I updated to the latest version of java earlier today and later decided to hop on Spiral Knights on Steam for a quick run. I found that the game was completely unplayable with the screen freezing and tearing every three seconds. Did a system restore to revert the change and the game was back to normal.

Currently running on Java Version 6 Update 26 (build 1.6.0_26-b03). No trouble here.

As for the problem build...5 seconds of google did not tell me.

I had an account before the Steam free-to-play event. During the event, I installed the game via steam and logged in (with steam). I had to make a new character and I played for a while.

I logged in today and there's no 'steam' log-in check-box. So I tried logging in with my old account and I have no characters.

What's going on?
