I wasn't sure what to make of this. I've tried logging into Spiral Knights via my Steam account at different times through the evening. The game loads up fine; but when getting to the log-in screen, there seems to no longer be an option for Steam users to log in on. To be sure, I tried loading the game from the website itself, only to get the same result. Is this some kind of bug, or was there a memo regarding Steam accounts becoming obsolete that I miss, or...?

Iv used steam for years but when i tried to lunch today it came up preparing to lunch spiral knights for one second and never started up its annoying i can run it if i download the client off the website but i cant log on with a steam that way. Anyone know how to fix it

Processor: 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory: 3 GB

Everything works fine until I get to my character(s) page, and I choose the one I use most of course, but then instead of logging in it simply doesn't do anything. My character keeps walking (as he does when you scroll/click on him), and nothing happens. Four time out of five attempts of logging in this has happened. I guess my gameplay will be limited until this is fixed.

I've been having some severe lag issues with running Spiral Knights and was hoping that there might be some solution buried somewhere here in the forums. After searching and reading through about a dozen threads, I can't find a 100% definite solution. From a few of the threads, I could glean that the cases most similar to mine were from fellow Mac users, though there were some cases of Windows users running into the same things.

I used to be able to use steam overlay when I just started playing SK(months ago).
Then it had stopped working all of a sudden(months ago).
But a few days ago, it started working again ALL OF A SUDDEN.

Today, it has stopped working AGAIN ALL OF A SUDDEN.

I did nothing before it starts/stops working. It just stops/starts working suddenly without knowing touching etc.

Hey so, Guild Hall for Old School isn't working. The whole screen goes black. Is anyone else having this issue in their guild? Need to deposit some CR for the upkeep before it's too late.

We're aware that there is currently a particularly frustrating issue where people are unable to download the last patch and are receiving a 503 error message. Unfortunately we do not have a fix for it at this time, but we've roused the devs and they're working on it. Well, I've been getting an error every time I try to load the game. It starts out as saying "downloading control files" for a minute, but then switches and says "this application has failed to launch due to the following error: Server returned HTTP response code: 503 for URL: http:/download.threerings.net/spiral/getdown.txt

This has been happening since last night. I've already checked other 503 threads and I've done what is suggested, but no luck. Please help!

Until yesterday, everything was working fine, but today for some reasons SK refuses to launch, here is the error message I get after reinstalling (I checked my Java version, which is up to date according Oracle site) :
