Horray new guild halls... not. Thanks, I can no longer log onto the game to even check them out. I seen this coming since the game has lately been logging me off randomly and lagging extremely bad despite having a good connection and blah blah blah let's just say I did everything I could possibly do to improve it. That means doing all the troubleshooting, ports forwarded, and all that jazz, but nope, all I can say is that the game wont handle any connection that isn't top of the line.

we were promised these features... yet i don't see them. command console doesn't give me any of these options.

The game just freezes up, becomes unresponsive, and closes. Every time. I try reopening it, only to have it load me back to where I was when the game crashed, thus opening the guild hall list and causing the game to crash itself every time I open it.

EDIT: Additionally, the game no longer has sound. I have checked my settings and there SHOULD be sound, but there is none.

I logged on earier today and played the game. I got on to Steam again and now Spiral Knights is not showing up at all. It shows that is was never even installed. I need answers!

I'm having trouble logging into the standard non-steam client.

So what I'm trying to do is use my steam:(steam64) to login to SK without being at a workstation, or computer without steam, as I'm travelling quite a bit, and I enjoy some SK when I can. I acknowledge the requirement of the Steam client running at the same time in order to login, but I can't seem to adapt it for a portable environment (such as on a USB stick), so I'm wondering if anyone's willing to help me here.

After weeks of inactivity i wanted to check some stuff out in SK see what changed and so on.

I open site, launch spiral knight, and guess what. SK caused my laptop to crash. It becomed unresponsive and required hard reset.

GJ Spiral Knights, only game, wrong only application ever that caused my laptop to completly crash and became unresponsive. For all that time i stopped playing SK nothing like that happened, if something crashed i always could to ctrl+alt+del and close appropriate process. When its SK whole laptop is unresponsive.

For long time i have been stumbling upon a problem where i couldnt acces support portal (blank white screen).

Recently with the great help of GM Clotho, Helios and most possibly other Spiral Knights Staff probelm was solved and Spiral Knights support have sent me a succesful solution.

Im sharing it here for all other people having this problem.

You will need to modify one of the site cookies. For this you will have to use either browser built in tool to edit cookies or other plugin (for Firefox i suggest Cookies Manager+).

The game was pausing when loading sound ex:battle theme or enemy sound when I used alsa.
I tryed oss -- open sound system, it works in the system, but not in spiral knights. I have no other java aplication. I tryed install jdk 7 oipenjdk6 pulseaudio gstreamer good and ran the app throught oss pulseaudio redirector. nothing worked.

Is the spiral knights or java needed to be configured to use oss sound ?

My recent ISP is an improvement on what I've had before. As is my computer. And yet despite all my trying and everything to get your wonderful game to work I still receive multiple instances of my connection basically dropping for 10 seconds or longer. If it doesn't last 10 seconds. I'm dealing with my location jumping from one place to the next. (For example I'll run 20 paces away from an enemy, and find myself right back at the enemy dead on the ground 3 seconds later, said enemy DID NOT MOVE FROM HIS LOCATION!)
