Recently I just switched to playing SK on the main computer, the download goes fine but when I click the play now option, it says launching 100% complete, but the client popup still doesn't appear, and I don't really know what's happening here =(

I've allowed the java programs on my firewall and did port forwarding. Currently on virgin media in UK. Can anyone help me with this?

Hello, I've recently ran into a problem and I'd like to hear a solution.
When I first started playing SK, most of my friends already had played the game, and I didn't feel the need to annoy the ones who didn't when the invite promp first showed up, so I ignored it. Now that I have new friends, I'd like to invite them to possibly get some goodies, however the promp simply refuses to show up. I activated it, while at the same time deactivating all other promps, then proceeded to log in and off multiple times but, like I said, it refuses to pop up anymore!

So normally in the Windows Task Manager when viewing how much memory all the programs are using I will see that my Steam SK client is usually using around 400,000k-500,000k. My other SK client that is NOT from Steam uses a little less maybe 350,000k-450,000k. As of the past week my Steam client has been steadily climbing to around 1,000,000k and the game starts to load poorly. I am currently only working with about 6gb of memory. I plan on getting another 12gb soon but for the time being I need to figure out why this is using so much memory to run the game.

I just arrived from school and whanted to play sk.I click to play on steam ..I wait more than usually and it gives me "connection timeout".After that it seems that sk dissappeard from the gamelist .I go on store to download it again and i click on download .After abit of waiting again it gives me the same thing "connection timeout".Now I cant play nor install the game ...pls healp me .

This only started happening to me recently after a month-long hiatus from playing the game. My volume is fine until my friend joins the lobby I'm in, and the sound then reduces to almost zero. The same continues down through the levels as we run missions. This seems to happen regardless of what mission it is or who I group with. I play through Steam and have not touched any settings that would cause this to happen.

My game often freezes in arenas. I am trapped in the arena, everything else stops moving, and I can only move, not attack. However I seem to be actually able to do move and attack, it's just that I can't see it. When I type into the chat it also works. This happens a lot when I am on the final levels of something, so I'm getting pretty frustrated about it.

Is this just a serious case of lag? Or something else?

Hello. For the last few days I haven't been able to get SK running on my mom's computer (A Linux computer). I normally try to figure things out myself, but at the moment I'm going to be busy. My projectx.log only has one line in it, saying that it is logging to that file. (Which, honestly, won't help anyone)

I looked in my 'spiral' executable (It's a shell script if you are on Linux) and made this command from it:

java -verbose -jar getdown-pro.jar ./ >> output.txt

So i tired buying an elevator pass on the steam client, and it didn't complete the transaction properly or something, so now it just says Steam error: user account is unable to make purchases at this time.
Any help? :/
