So I've logged into steam to find that I can't play SK because I need to 'purchase' it.

Oddly enough I can still boot the SK preview client without any hitches (Though it obviously throws me out cause the preview server isn't open yet)

Is this more of a steam related issue or something at OOO's end?

EDIT: In before 'have you restarted steam' - I've done that a few times now lol

Hello I play SK a lot and few days back my SK started to disconnecting whenever I was playing. For e.g , I log in> Select knight> join a friends game>
After like a minute , Disconnected And this as been going on and on. Its not with my router My bro uses same router his is working fine.

What I've tried:

*Updated Java
*Reinstalled SK
*Flush DNS Cache

Same thing goes to my Minecraft too keep getting disconnected from servers.
and both are Java games so maybe Java is problem?

I'm a dedicated gamepad user as of 2 weeks ago and this morning it has suddenly stopped working. >.> Anybody else having this problem or am I by myself on this one? ._.

I have tried to login to SK on August 9th, at 10:30 pm EST.
After several quick fixes, I have been unable to login. I get either the "verification with steam" message or the "temp network outrage/servers are not yet up" message.
I have tried ---
-Restarting Steam.
-Disabling the Steam Overlay
-Restarting my Computer.
-Waiting it out (sometimes it just saying logging in for a while).
-Restarting my internet.
None of these quick fix solutions seem to be working and am still unable to login.

Why does this support not happen? SK runs on linux, without issues.

If you look at the SK Steam information, it even shows that the game supports Linux. But, the actual OS list that Steam lets you download to is limited to Mac and PC. When will the option to log into SK on Steam on linux be available?

okay so i was just thinking about binding my sk account to steam but for some reason everytime i open up the sk (in steam) it auto closes. whats wrong?

Whenever i try to update spiral knights an error pops up usually after i re-install SK it goes back to normal but this time...
I did everything un-installed Steam and SK
I cleared my cache browser EVERYTHING but it still doesnt work D:

I've tried restarting my computer, logging in and out of Steam, and deleting Java from my Task Manager. Although each and every time it said the same thing.

This may help, or may not. Each time I try closing Java and then opening Spiral Knights, a few seconds after I click on the shortcut, my screen goes black for a few seconds and comes back. This probably has something to do with the problem.

(I have no idea where to address this topic. Technical issues and bug reports are, considered by reading the description, game-related.. ..anyways!)

Are you still having 408 Request Timeout errors on the site once you open up Google Chrome?
A little while ago, Google has released a beta of their 64bit-version of Chrome for Windows 7 and 8.
Ever since I've been using this version, I haven't gotten any 408 error on this site!
