Unbinding fees for trade... why is it necessary?

Can someone please explain to me why paying an unbinding fee is mandatory if the seller should already have the object/material upfront prepared for the consumer/buyer?

If you're selling something... aren't you expected to have the unbinding fee sorted out? There should be no point in selling if you're asking for the unbind fee + the cost of the item.

Arcana is incredibly underrated.

I'd state that the Elemental Blaster line (or maxed out, the Arcana) is incredibly strong for any gunslinger. It is supereffective against two out of three turrets, has high dps, doesn't mess around with statuses (making it effective everywhere), and quite frankly looks cool.

I wish more people realized how awesome this weapon is.

Combuster vs. FoV

This is merely as a "differences" list, not a judgement on which one is "better" than the other.

FoV:
+ Inflicts Fire status on normal swings.
+ Hitboxes on melee swings more consistent(? Need data from Nitronicx for more deets about this)
+ Powerful Charge attack hits more times than calibur and deals more damage per hit, meaning it deals anywhere from 1k to 2k damage per charge, not counting Fire status.

Good Weapon Combos?

Hi all,

My friend and I got back into SK recently and we've been having some fun trying to speed run dungeons. I was wondering if we could get suggestions on what weapons work well together, which could make our playstyle even more effective and fun (example: vortex bombs plus Voltedge?) Right now we're sort of just doing our own thing, so I thought it would be fun to use combinations of weapons that complement each other.

He's a Vanguard and I'm a Defender Elite so access to equipment shouldn't be a huge issue.

piercing hammer

Imagine a WRH reskin that dealt piercing damage and left a trail of rose thorns or snarbolax spikes along the dash trajectory, would be cool and overpowered so it could make a nice <1% drop

Shield heating and shield UVs: worth it?

Previous shield research was lacking so I gathered some new data. Damage data was gathered by measuring the shield HP bar in pixels on a screenshot after the hit. I chose to test against 2 attacks from both sides of the damage spectrum, lumber swing being one of the heaviest hits and scuttlebot bullets being one of the weakest hits. I assume most other attacks will fall between this range.

First set of data: Damage to shield taken at depth 19 from a Lumber (in mission 6-2 Beyond the Axes of Evil) on Elite.

Has Neutralizer's damage been fixed?

I know Neutralizer and Biohazard are bad guns, but I love using them and I just wanted to know if their bugs have been fixed. Also, on the topic of those guns... Neutralizer or Biohazard???

Shadow Lair team build idea: Ice Queen

The team consists of 1 Tank and 3 DPS.

* The TANK:
Armor: Ice queen set with Pierce max UVs (alternatively mercurial set pierce max, because freeze isn't that bad in teamplay and MSI is very good)
Shield: Royal jelly/Aegis/Ironmight plate with a freeze high or max UV, otherwise Royal Jelly shield is probably best.
Trinket: Penta heart pendant
Sprite: Seraphynx, probably using valkyrian aura to get extra vortexes off and grab as many slimes as possible
Weapons: Electron Vortex or Obsidian Crusher (CTR High, lvl 10), Winter Grave (CTR High, lvl 10), perhaps Venom Veiler
