DVS is AMAZING for greavers!!

I recently took my dvs into a T3 fiend area and holy crap it's good for dealing with greavers.
Each hit will interrupt, which is great. I'm surprised how much of a breeze it is.

Just thought this was cool.

Fang of Vog: some tips

First some facts:
* Fang of Vog can inflict fire to the player with the charge attack.
* Fire resistance lowers the fire duration, number of fire ticks and damage per tick.
* Universal damage bonus applied to fang of vog (e.g. from skolver / black kat / slash module) increases damage per tick.

WRH in Alita: Battle Angel

Recently I saw the film Alita: Battle Angel, in which the Dr. Ido character uses a rocket-powered spike-maul weapon. Apparently it's faithful to the underlying manga Gunnm, which predates Spiral Knights. Warmaster Rocket Hammer looks a lot like this weapon.

Fang of Vog - An untapped gold mine

The Fang of Vog is one of the more exotic weapons to be found in Spiral Knights and unfortunately I've seen few player wielding in the clockworks. When I was a new player, my one of my ultimate goals was to somehow someday obtain that elusive weapon, and recently (2 days ago to be exact) I finally reached my goal... but i was disappointed, in a good way. In this post I will be discussing things that could improve the FOV (Fang of Vog) and make it more popular. Well actually its really just one thing.

Before it was a thing I told those that were wondering that a five star winmillion wouldn't change anything for them. It would just have higher damage numbers but not enough to exceed brandishes or anything, and that they'd pass up on it and I wasn't wrong.

Combuster's fiery rhetoric is great and all but acheron does more damage or whatever and OH DEAR LORD ITS THE SAME AS GRAND FAOUST BROKEN OP OP OP

But seriously though, they somehow read this less than the suggestions forum just put your garbage there so that Bopp can rest in peace

Fix for Tortoguns!

Tortoguns are underused. They have a lovely design and a corresponding game event, but the community doesnt use them enough right now. They even have 3 to 5 star versions, which i miss especially when i see new weapons with just a 5 star form. I'd like for us to tweak their design so that they are used as often as other weapons by the average knight.

The Issues
1. The forced front movement while firing the normal attack.
2. The immunity effect to the charge shards.

Sprites... what's good and what needs to be improved (Drakon)

At the moment I am currently working on ranking up my own Drakon so I can't give a perfect review of the ultimates (though I can still give my opinion based of what I have seen in game and from discussions about it with other players)

The Drakon is supposed to be an offense oriented sprite... but in my opinion it fails at that for a variety of reasons. In fact it doesn't seem like there is much use for it until you finally do get access to the ultimates, till then you're going to be running around with argueably the worst sprite in the game.

Much like my last one I'll be going over the Maskeraith base and ults...

When you start out the Maskeraith is immediately useful... the Quills make killing key targets like turrets fast and the poison gives an offense and defense perk since it cuts enemy damage and defense...

The Cloak is useful immediately too since it gives a knight breathing room to escape and re-position or more safely use HP capsules...

Sprites... what's good and what needs to be improved (Seraphynx)

First off the base sprite forms are in general useful... some are FAR more useful than others...

The Seraphynx can use it's Beam on chokepoints and turrets, the Heart Attack can improve HP drop rates, the Shield can protect you and allies from damage. For beating the main story the Seraphynx is underwhelming until you gain access to the 2nd skill, then it becomes super useful throughout the game... keeping allies alive and helping you survive dangerous areas...

What to improve?
