This game needs a lot of things, but here are some ideas that I have (and ones I've posted before) on some new weaponry.

Grenade Launchers.
Ok, I'm sure someone has suggested these before, and I also guess that the tortoguns are basically the same, but still, the fact that bombs are very limited in this game in behaviour, a grenade launcher isn't a bad idea.
For instance, the attack could work like this:

Two possible changes to "Shard Bomb" mechanics.

I'm all for the way of the "plant bomb, make ring of death, ring goes boom" method of doing things, but I know that the shard lines are missing a lot of their potential (not just because of the invincitinks, the little buggers.) So, what I'm proposing are two ideas that I believe may or may not bring them into a more useful light, while at the same time not overpowering them or making them even more useless in the process. Personally, I'm leaning more towards option #2.

Hello everybody!
I’ve been playing SK for more than 480 hours so far, and I’m still not tired of playing such an amazing game; but nonetheless, I’ve come to 3 points which I think could add something more to gameplay. It’s a long post, but I hope it’ll be worth the reading as I expect it to be :).

Using different type fire crystals in upgrading items

I have a suggestion which would make sense in Spiral Knights.
When heating up a weapon, if you don't have enough of required fire crystals, just use a different type of crystal instead. No additional payment required. But exchange rate is not good. Example:

Book of Dark Rituals balancing suggestion

I have a simple suggestion to stop this mindless game-killing grind for books:
make books available for pages! Like, 500 pages. Or divide pages into several "chapters" and make players complete chapters for books. Chapters should be trade-able so that more players could combine them into books.

This will be similar to monster pass - devilite ID card, or whatever its called (tortodrone fight pass).

Such books should not give Black Kat Cowl at the end of fight. Instead, they should simply give materials. To fix things, Black Kat Cowl should be craft-able from mask with enough materials.

New Event Idea: Garish Gremlin Gang Graffiti!

Evil gangs of gremlin have painted graffiti on a large number of the knight's walls! But we don't know what kind of paint it is and the only forseeable way to tell is to have you, the knight, stand watch over the wall while it dries, timing it. You must make sure that you time exactly how long it takes to dry, which must be within 15 minutes when timed and is always a time between 7 and 10 hours.

More Weapons & Stuff

To be honest, there's too much swords and blasters in this game. What about maces and spears? Knights in the actual old time period used spears and maces to kill their enemies. Even Bows. Unless those are just Archers. Here's some weapon ideas... and stats.

1. Sniper Rifle - Long range, however most have a broken scope. Projectile can go across entire screen. Scoped weapons can help you take out enemies from afar, so long as there's no obstacle in the way. Scoped weapons have unlimited range.

bringing back the miner achievements

just change it to the amount of minerals a knight has collected and maybe raised the amount requirements for the achievements.
it is really not that hard
btw I've made different accounts and have been using my brother before i finally was able to get my steam account of the forums

Ward Bomb

Hello everyone-
New invention I have to show you. Quite the invention indeed!

I present thee the Ward Bomb!

A bomb that pushes enemies OUT! Like the blast bomb, the ward bomb also pushes enemies out, HOWEVER, it pushes enemies back more slowly than blast bombs.
In addition the ward bomb lasts about as long as vortex bombs in duration. Consider it an anti-vortex bomb!
