Divine Veil
Radiant Silvermail
Crest of Almire
Gran Faust
Volcanic Tempest
Blitz Needle

both HP trinkets

What do you think of this gear as an "everything" gear?

Weapons don't matter that much. Just personal preference I guess.

Depends on what I am in the mood for:

  • Bombing for support
    • Full VDemo
    • Valiance
    • Barrage
    • Voltaic
    • Graviton/Venom/Big Angry
  • Bombing for some damage
    • Full VDemo
    • Valiance
    • Barrage
    • SSalt
    • Agni
  • Bombing for actual damage
    • Full MadB
    • Valiance
    • Barrage
    • Voltaic
    • Dark Retribution
  • Statuses everywhere
    • Full VDemo
    • Agni
    • Shivermist
    • Voltaic
    • Venom
  • And more! Order now and get triple the offer!

For a shield I go with either Owlite or Crest of Almire, depending on whether more shadow or element is going to be vomited on my face.

No trinkets. If I wanted crutches I would use Nitronome everywhere.

No Normal Defence!?

Running with no normal defense is never a good idea

-Trojans and melee attacks will tear though that lack of Normal Defense
-Heavy swords like Gran Faust perform much better with ASI
-Shield won't cover Elemental or Piercing hits
-A gun is preferably elemental, due to 2/3 turrets weak to, and 1/3 resistant to it

In terms of armor, an "All-purpose" set commonly covered by Divine Veil + Skolver/Justifier (Pending on sword or gun pref).

Looks like I read the original post wrong.

Again.

After writing a lot here or there I should shut up for a couple hours before trying to answer questions or juggle flaming chainsaws while riding a unicycle. Or even just riding the unicycle.

For general gameplay armor is less about getting defense for all types and more padding yourself against what you have particular difficulty against or just grabbing those offense bonuses.

The 'best' way to get all around defenses without resorting to UVs is Divine Veil with Ice Queen armor.
All types and statuses but poison.

CALLAHAN!!i!

Personally, I find wolvers a joke and jellies aren't so meancing after taking on gremlins or devilites. I prefer something like Snarby coat/divine veil for all around swords and no bosses. For bosses I like perfect seerus/Snarby coat or even perfect seerus/deadshot mantle depending on swords or guns or hybrid.

Interesting that for an "all

Interesting that for an "all rounder" set, you chose a mix of everything. Personally, for my all-rounder build I did the exact opposite and went with normal attacks/def with support bombs:

Undead+Construct shock danger room. Consider getting an additional status bomb; namely ash of agni. If you mustn't do so, I'd suggest switching to volcanic pepperbox from blitz, or if you value that, to stagger storm from vt. Stagger storm is quite a bit harder to use though.

Processing Thoughts of You Always

The Eternal Swordsman's Cheat Loadout:

Divine Veil
Skolver Coat
Barbarous Thorn Shield/Grey Owlite/Crest of Almire
5* health trinkies/ASI trinkies
Leviathan/Divine Avenger/Acheron/Final Flourish/Polaris

You have no normal defence, which is a terrible idea, even in t3. Put some in there.

Thank you.

Okay, thanks for everyone's feedback :) I'm still not 100% on how the defence system works in this game :|
