Also we have some water based gear Do we not?
We also have the Leviathan Blade, but that's entirely water based in anything either than the name and description.
I also Recently heard about this lovely location!
SO lets begin with the suggestion. (NOTE if at any poin the suggestion ends, I may not be done, I will inform you when I'm finished)
I thought we could do something with this and we shall!
I was thinking a new boss or event boss that is water based. A giant sea serpent by the name Oceanus.
First off the Mission Description.
Spiral HQ has found an strange energy source coming from a Reef in the Ocean are near the Aurora Isles. Obviously we want you to go investigate. But be warned. There is something you may have never encountered here before, water. We know you've seen it, of course. But we are sending you through deep,underwater caves and who knows what else! The last Recon Ranger team didn't come back! Let alone send any messages! Be careful out there knight!
Now for the mission floors.
First Floor
(Missionnamehere) : Sea Petal Pass
This floor is pretty much you average Aurora Isles, housing Lumbers, Beasts, and Silkwings. There are small streams around with Lotuses and Lily Pads on them. There isn't much to see here other than it's natural beauty. There are stone bridges to get you across the few fast rivers that are on the map. (NOTE fast rivers cannot be walked through you are dragged downstream if you step in! So be careful! Allthough you may be led to treasure, If you enter the right one. Others lead to danger) You fight to the end and then reach the elevator and head down!
Second floor
(Missionnamehere) : Sinking Shores
This floor is like the first one but with more fast rivers, and some still deep parts. The still deep parts are deep enough for your knight to submerge completely. While submerged you
(A) cannot use shock weapons
(B) Suffer MSD and ASD You can attack though
(C) have an oxygen meter that starts at 10 and counts down (As status sphere under helath) can bring it back up by walking over Air Spouts
Air spouts are small oxygen vents that release bubbles that increase breath time.
Time to introduce a new monster!
Minilodon: These small Pirannah like fish have one attack. Bite. They look like Pinksih-red shrunken dow Jaws of Megalodon helms, But with little swishy tails! They attack in swarms and are mini monsters.
Once you reach the elevator, which is oddly larger than normal, you begin to go down, and suddelny, the elevator shudders and falls!
Third floor
(Missionnamehere) : Rapids Rush
The elevator falls into some rapids! This "floor" consists of the elevator rushing down the rapids as you are boarded by Beasts and Fiends! It acts as an arena. You are baorded by:
Chromalisks
Kleptolisks
Greavers
Wolvers
and some new monsters!
Scurvy Devil: This piratey Devilite is mad! Why? Becuase he's scurvy! Why does he have scurvy? Because he's throwing his limes at you! That's why!
Attacks Lime Throw: Throws a lime dealing shadow damage and has a chance of causing poison!
Lime Eat: Eats his lime and goes to full health, but becomes a normal Devilite.
Aqualisk: This Chromalisk is Amphibious! He may have no status, but he still has some mean spit!
Attacks: Lick: Hits you with his disgusting, wet, tounge. Ewwww... (Has a small chance of causing Low MSD and ASD cuz the tounge is wetter than normal)
Bubble Spit: Spits a big bubble of water that, if it hits, definitely causes Med MSD and ASD
Once you reach the end of the rapids... you go over a waterfall!!!!!!!!!!!!
First floor of Boss Fight
(Missionnamehere) : Seafloor Sprint
This is the first floor of the bossfight (it takes 2). It entirely consists of you running across the seabed from Oceanus, due to him being invulnerable.
there are no other monsters. But remember, Oceanus is HUGE!!! you run until you reach a coral reef, and a wave hits you, the screen goes black and the next floor begins.
Second floor of Boss Fight
(Missionnamehere) : Coral Carnage
This floor is the bossfight it has 3 phases...
PHASE 1
In this Phase, Oceanus is in the center of the circular coral reef lake inside a whirlpool. You may ask. Where am I standing? The whole parting is standing on a never-ending (so unrealistic) wooden spiral that Oceanus is constantly pulling towards himself. You must dodge his attacks and run along the spiral to reach a cannon. When you get to the cannon (It's a pirate style one) you fire it and it slams in to Oceanus. He has been Immune to all attacks until now, so know you run back along the spiral and attack him (Bombs not sugested). He will get up after 5 secs, the whirlpool also stops when he is hit with the cannon. This phase has 15000 health (debateable, so is cannon's stun time).Oceanus has 2 attacks this phase.
Tail-Impale: Oceanus rams his tail up through the boards trying to spike the Knight above. Works like Jelly spikes.
Ice Breath: Oceanus fires a ball of Icy energy at Knights that has a 3 by 3 explosive radius, and has a High chance of causing Strong freeze.
{PASSIVE}Cumulonimbid Armor: A stom cloud surrounds his midsection at all times (unless stunned) causing DPS and a slight chance of causing strong shock. (to prevent camping near him for parties)
Phase 2
Once you defeat Phase 1 Oceanus grows a second head! This gives him a new attack, Fire Breath! It works just like Ice Breath but, ya know, fire. Phase 2 is just like Phase 1 but now Oceanus has 30000 HP (or double previous debated HP).
Phase 3
Once Phase 2 is over. Oceanus grows a thrid head! Plus extra tais to give him one for each party member! Oh he also blows up the cannon. But don't worry! You've chipped away enough of his scales that he is now vulnerable at all times! Sadly in his rage, he has reversed the current of the whirlpool (it now PUSHES) and doubled it's speed!!! His third head gives him shock breath, and he will roar at random to stop Knights in thier tracks! Minilodons will also leap out of the water and try to bite you! He has 45000 HP (or three times Phase 1's health). Once defeated The area drains and he leaves behind Soaked Scale Tokens. There is an elevator leading back to Haven, and next to It treasure boxes, Crystals, and a Recon Module. It reads:

This area is very strange. I can't believe the color in the plants and trees around here! The water is cool and clear. And the light looks and feels, real! I can see no gears, and the earth feels nice and damp. I love this place! But, I can't tell the others. This place will be my secret hideaway. If I can ever find it again... I would love to stay here forever, but the Squad needs me. I will leave this recording to float down the river, staying here forever in my stead. Parma, out.

Desc: Legend tells of Knights who told their king to cut down the largest lumber in the wood with a Herring. He called the idea preposterous. But you my friend, are far better than he.
Attack Pattern: Brandish 3 swing. Voltedge swing speed
Charge: Barbarous Thorn Blade launch... but with Herring!
Appearence: It looks like an oversised Herring!
Tri-Burst Cannon / 5*[Gun](55)
Desc: The sheer power of Oceanus is revealed in this gun! You know what they say, three heads are better than 1!
Pure elemental with a chance to cause status on every hit (33% chance it'll cause freeze, 33% chance it'll cause fire, 33% chane it'll cause shock)
Attack: Magnus style shot with quick reload.
Charge: Knight becomes stationary and fires a lazer beam forward for 1.5 secs
Appearance: A Valiance with no blade, and a fluxuating 3 color (Shock Blue, Freeze Blue, and Fire Orange) rainow where the checker design is.
Sprinkler / 5* [Bomb](40)
Desc: Spiral HQ was never big on farming. Those who were allways had sprites do it. After sprites were lost in the crash, the Spiral Order had to find some way to grow crops for food. Thier solution? A bomb that exploded and sprayed water everywhere! The explosions were too strong and we lost the crops, but the bomb still works!
Pure elemental and causes MSD and ASD Low. (This happens to enemies it hits)
Attack: Once placed it has long fuse time, but huge range. It does low damage, but leaves a slowing mist AND has the property of a shard bomb.(AKA launches mini versoins of itself)
Appearance: Like 5* myst bomb but with deep, crisp, oceany blues.

While this has been suggested before, no-one is really against the idea of water, including me, i'd love to see some game mechanic changing water levels.
There could be a set of 3 levels, such as how the Stygian Steeds Fiend levels are set up.
Also, when in water you CANNOT have shock weapons of any kind. As your whole party+ the monsters in water will get the shock status and slowly take 3-4 pips of damage, along with the shock spasms. The water will also give you a VH resist to fire, and a VH vulnerability to shock.
The first of these levels has some water in a few areas, such as a natural forested area. There you will see monsters of prey and predetorial monsters, maybe some slimes/lichens jiggling away from Chromalisks, or some other little scenarios. There would also be monster minis, preferably dust bunnies.
The second level would be slightly more flooded, such as a grotto type area. This area will have dark blue water that causes MSD low and the water will be up to your knights neck, you cannot attack while in this water. It would also be nice if the knight had a little wading animation where he held his sword and shield above the water.
The final level will be completely flooded, with more spots of blue water, and rather small patches of land, (you will fight your way through some reskinned shark-gun puppies :p ) and maybe some new water enemies, i dunno. The boss room will be a rather large area filled with water, there will be no deep water, and once you step on the party button "Oceanus" bursts out of the ground.
I dunno how the boss fight would go, and im out of ideas for this :p
Personally though, i doubt OOO is even going to pay any attention to this. I dont think were gonna be seeing water with the complex properties like the water stated above.
