I look at the page/book/whatever we decided it was and see instructions for getting myself some kind of summon.
I read a random passage out loud and a dog with a red collar pops out of thin air.
Dog: Level 1 Random Dog
HP: 20/20
ATK: 10
DEF: 5
AGI: 25
AP: 4/4
Attacks:
Bite (1 AP): Bites and enemy. Damage based off ATK.
Bite Rush (3 AP): Bites a specific enemy 5 times.
Successive Bites (2 AP): Bites all enemies.
Suddenly Meat (4 AP): Random meat appears. Heals Dog 8 HP.
The force of the book on my head suddenly makes me realize that shouting at people is actually really easy.

Elu inspects the weapons.
The Wakizashi can be used as a regular weapon. It's like a Katana, but shorter. It makes the user a little faster and has an ancient ability.
Wakizashi - ATK +20, Max AP +3
(9 AP)Attack - Attack an enemy with the Wakizashi.
(16 AP)(x1)Brandish - Deal critical damage to an enemy, then decrease the AP Cost for any Standard Attack by 2 for 3 turns. Disables the Wakizashi for the rest of the battle.
The Flintlock does what you'd expect it does. Fire lead balls at enemies. It's way to slow to reload in the middle of a battle, though.
Flintlock - ATK +50
(0 AP)(x1)Quickdraw - Deal critical damage to an enemy. Ignores Defense, Evade, and Counter.
P.S. Attack bonus blatantly only applies for the weapon that grants the bonus. So Flintlock doesn't make your Wakizashi more powerful.
