Chapter 6; Second-Last Floor?: 10:15AM
Squeaks, creaks, and even clunking, was heard as they went down the elevator. Amber looked at her small gate map device she made in her hand. It was heading to floor 24 but wasn't reaching there for some reason. As time went on, they all started to sit down and wait it out, doing other things to occupy their interests and time away. "What's up with the elevator? Why aren't we at the next floor already?" Mystic looked at the moving gears as they passed them. "I don't know, but I don't think it's a good thing." Amber grabbed a screwdriver and twisted a screw into the back of a device that was just casually sitting there. "How would you consider 'not at the next floor by now' a bad thing? It's a bad thing already." Dusk walked around the perimeter of the floor, having nothing to do or see. "Just shut up and let me work." "Yea sure, whatever." Dusk grumbled underneath his breath.
Blue and Alma were off to the side talking about something in a whisper, Will noticed and walked over to them. "What are you guys talking about that's such a secret?" Will looked at the two, each of them looking at each other. Alma nodded and Blue started to talk. "Well, something bad is going to happen to that town of yours." She mumbled. "Say what now? How do you guys know?" Mystic walked over and overheard the conversation. Alma motioned her hand to show Blue that she'll continue for her. Blue nodded and laid down on the platform, belly against the metal. "We know because all of the monsters are in this attack. I was chosen to be in it but refused, then when I came back, the phantoms were discouraged about my choice and soon I was watched, spied on. They only chose the best of the best, such as experienced or alpha classes. But other than that, the monsters are planning to take over Haven and the ones who inhabited there, such as knights and those 'strangers'. We're just the few who don't agree with it, some deciding to help the knights, others staying where they live right now or taking refuge somewhere else. We wanted to help the first knights that came passing by our homes, and it was you guys." We looked at them, all of us listening, surprised, as to what Alma said. "Me and Blue waited till it was a good time to tell you guys, which we thought would be now." "So you waited to tell us that now? Well, we could have gone up at the terminal to help them out in Haven." Dusk started to go on, his voice got an edge to it, but Will went up to him and tried to calm him down. "I'm sure they have a good reason, don't you?" Amber faced them, they looked at each other and nodded. "I was one of the elites and they said they would start it at around noon."
"What time is it now, Amber?" "Umm, 10:22 but we're not even at depth 24." Amber then looked at the gate map and was surprised at what she saw. "What is it?" Mystic walked over and looked over her shoulder. "What the, we can't still be halfway there, I mean we should be there now, at depth 24." Mystic walked over to the side of the elevator platform and looked down, all that was there was darkness and gears turning. "We're going at the normal speed, but it could be that this gate has a longer wait time." Will looked over the edge too, only to see what Mystic saw, gears turning. "Since we got that we're not going to any floor yet, is this battle going to lead to an invasion?" Dusk asked Alma, he was calm but who knows what would happen. "Possibly so, depending on how this is planed out." She shrugged and looked towards Blue, Blue was shaking in her fur but then Alma put her hand on Blue's head, seemingly to lessen Blue's nervousness.
It felt like forever but it was about one hour later that the elevator stopped and they all stepped out, all tried and aching all over. "So what floor are we at now?" Will was slouching over and barley got that out of his mouth, Blue spoke up. "We're at floor 28, wait a minute, aren't we supposed to be at floor 24?" "Yea, we're supposed to be at 24 but this elevator obviously was either rigged or was made like this." Amber grumbled as she was looking through the circuit-breaker box. "Let's keep moving, staying here any longer won't help us." Dusk walked off on the path of hot fire metal, seemingly not bothered by the heat of the area. They soon followed after him.
After walking for a bit, they started waking up and saw figures in the background of red fire. As they got closer they saw, surprisingly, another Skolver, along with 2 other knights. "Hey, look over there, better turn back Xeris." A knight who was green and wearing a dusker coat and phantom mask pointed at the group. "We're not looking for any trouble" Will held up his hands, showing he wasn't going to do anything tricky. "Ok than, but what about those 2?" One of them pointed to Alma and Blue, wondering either to fight them or not. "No, they're friends." Amber assured them. "That's good than, my name's Xeris, this is Travid and Firehate. Who are you guys?"
"Dusk."
"Will."
"Blue."
"Alma."
"Mystic."
"Amber."
"So what's going on here, is it like a party or a journey?" Travid questioned with his back against a metal beam. "Well, it's more like… (explaining everything till now)." "Sounds… complicated." Firehate was still processing this in his head in a order which was a easier way for him to understand. "Want to come?" Dusk put his hand out for Xeris to grab hold on or for one of the three to grab. They looked at the out-stretched hand, at each other then Travid put his hand in. "When I'm in, they're in too." The rest nodded and started walking again.
Continuing on the path, it soon broke away from the normal straight path to Vanaduke's Throne Room to another way off to the right side. "This is weird, this doesn't feel right either." Firehate walked on with the group, looking to the side at Vanaduke. They got to a point where there were screens, all were static until they became clearer. All showed victories and losses of the few knights that travel through here, some more horrifying than others. One showed of a knight, standing on the body of Vanaduke, with his sword held high above, gleaming in whatever light there was in the deep depths of the Clockworks. Each saw this and sighed, this was a knight who was thinking of nothing but winning. Then soon all the screens came into order and showed a message, not even Feron would have suspected this to happen in the years he worked with the Spiral Order.
Leave now or face your doom with the REAL Vanaduke, even monsters want some payback.
All those times you've run through here was a lie, we monsters are smarter than you think,
so the next time you try to face us, you'll regret it.
By the time they all finished reading it, they were speechless as to what the message really was or said. "Probably it was on a timer?" Amber suggested as to the answer of the message, but Mystic had another theory. "Or someone is watching us right now." Everyone started to look around to see anything or anybody was there watching them, but there was nothing to show that someone was there, to be found. "Let's keep moving just in cause someone is watching us." Alma hurried to the elevator, apparently not wanting to wait any longer for a surprise to happen. One-by-one, all of them got to the elevator and descended down to the core.
Who has a sweet tooth? If you don't, than do you like candy? :D
"The author of this story has been captured and so have her characters in the process. We will look into it but until then, the Spiral Order will continue with this story until further notice. Thank you for your cooperation and, *bullet hits Feron in the head and flops down on the ground*
"We're not captured Feron so STFU about this broadcast you're making!!" Amber shouted with her Argent in hand.
"Apparently he got nothing else to do." Mystic shook his head in disgrace.
"The author (Blindshot) is busy with school and her computer is in the store getting repaired so shes fine." Added in Will.
"Also she said she'll have the chapters in 2 or 3 pieces, like mini chapters." Blue barked cheefully.
"So without further ado, lets begin chapter 7, part 1." Dusk pointed to the crowd of knights, who was dumbfounded as to what was going on.
No one noticed that Alma was dragging Feron deep in the shadows and into a graveyard.
Chapter 7; Alternative Outpost: 11:27AM (Part 1)
As the elevator headed up to Emberlight, Arus was trying his best to stop the wound on his leg from bleeding but that did nothing. As the elevator screeched to a halt, he limped out of the elevator only to collapse on the ground outside and pass out, the last thing he saw was a gremlin heading towards him, then nothing but a cold hard black.
There was stirring over in the cot where a gremlin laid, there was a bandage on it's leg and it's weapons off to the side on a table. Amazeltoa looked up from the wires he was working on and saw that the gremlin that had been severely injured before, sitting upright and looking at the wall. "Better take it easy, the more you move, the move the wounds start to open." The gremlin looked at Amazeltoa, his head tilted slightly to one side. "Who are you?" The gremlin spoke as he tried to get on his feet, only to fall down on the ground. "Mine name is Amazeltoa but you can call me Ama, you should really stop moving." "It won't be nice if I didn't tell you my name won't it? I'm just trying to greet you properly and while I'm down here, my name's Arus." Ama (Amazeltoa) saw that Arus had the Crimson Order symbols on his clothing, but decided to help him anyways.
When Arus finally got his footing, he reached down to where his sash was but was surprised that he grabbed nothing but air. "Where are my weapons?" He frantically looked around and then Ama pointed to the table, full of weapons, bags full to the brim with materials, and a familiar bag with a sash was on top of everything else. Arus walked over to the table, and as he grabbed the bag he looked at the piles of junk but saw papers of a device of some kind and looked at them as he was putting on the bag. Ama walked over and picked up the papers when he saw that Arus was looking at them. “Just some things I have to make for the gremlins.” Ama said casually when he walked over to the other side of the room. Arus glanced over to the table and saw there was one more sheet that Ama didn’t notice and saw that it looked kinda like his Endpoint. He looked through his bag and saw that nothing was missing and everything was in its place.
“Guess you want to leave now, don’t you?” Ama questioned to Arus who was heading towards the door, his hand inches away from the doorknob. “What else can I do here rather than sitting down and wait till death come at me? No thanks, I want to live my life to fullest if you don’t mind me.” Arus chuckled as he thought about watching the knights writhing in pain as soon as they saw his sword. “So your saying you’re not an outcast, fleeing from the Crimson Order?” Arus stared at Ama, wondering why he even thought of that question. “Just so you know, I went here because it was the closest gremlin outpost there was. I won’t even betray my own kind for anything.” Arus growled and left out of the door. “Good thing no knights are expected to show up here at this time.” Ama looked over at one of his computers and saw that the elevators to Emberlight was clear and continued on fixing the things, the gremlins requested to be fixed.
But the story so far is amazing, so keep it up!
Little spoiler in chapter 8 (which won't be up till 2 more posts later maybe) Advents' soul will be going up to different graveyards than soon the Clockworks itself and while he's going up, he's going to warn the group as a ghost since he's going to be a bit visible for them to see then disappear from view.
"Flame here, I'm taking over for Feron for his injury to his head. How does getting shot in the head by a mist bullet? Well Feron was found in a graveyard surrounded by zombies trying to eat his brains and was sent to the medical bay to be checked out, he described the shot to the head as if Vanaduke brought down his mace right directly on your head but he should be fine. How does it hurt that much?"
"Feron is right, I've increased the attack power on my Argent so it deals more damage. Never underestimate the guns. >:D"-Amber
"And Flame you may be in the story soon as well as with other knights."-Travid
"Can we leave this discussion and continue on with something else."-Firehate
"Fine, fine. New installment of chapter 7, part 2 is right here."-Xeris
Chapter 7; Alternative Outpost: 11:27AM (Part 2, 11:56AM)
As Arus walked on the rusted metal path to the elevator, he heard a voice that could easily snap a hundred of his nerves. “Yo, Arus! What are you doing here in Emberlight?” Arus turned around and saw that it was Evan. He was about to answer when he saw Evan had a Sentenza in his hand and when Evan pointed his gun at Arus, he jumped out of the way, and fired an energy ball from his Endpoint to Evans’ gun, but luckily Evan pulled his shield up and it absorbed the impact. “Yea I should have thought that through. But really, what are you doing here anyways?” Evan laughed lightly and looked back up. “I had to go here because of a fight gone bad. Emberlight was the closest gremlin outpost there was and the others were depths away from where I was stationed. That’s what I get for not having many menders at that camp.” “Sounds like a reasonable explanation, guess that explains your leg all bandaged up.” Evan pointed to Arus’ leg, which was wrapped up neatly by a gremlin Evan probably didn’t know of.
“I was sent here to see if any Crimson Order members might have deserted and I find you here, interesting to see both of us are here.” Evan uttered as he and Arus started walking towards the elevator to leave Emberlight and finish the other assignments, other gremlins didn’t notice the two possibly because they were focused on something else or maybe some did. “Did I not say this was the closest outpost to get help cause I remember I did. Besides, what is the next thing to do on that list King Tinkinzar requested?” “Well if we leave now, we should be able to make it to the Core and start the ‘big plan’.” Evan calmly said as he looked at the list, the way he said it was a way some people might say if they think it’s a normal or regular thing. “Lets not let the King wait any longer than.” Arus said as he walked faster to the elevator. Evan shook his head and followed, but he ran instead of walking. They didn’t know that some gremlins were watching them, from their rooms or in the shadows, some of the gremlins weren’t even outcasts, they were either assassins sent there or something entirely different. Other than that, Arus and Evan didn’t have any trouble talking to the gremlin guarding the elevator, to have a direct descend to the Core and into the Core itself. The gremlin nodded and stepped aside for the two to get on and they disappeared from sight.
(Somewhere else): “This elevator better not take forever like the other one did.” Dusk complained as it was still descending. “Nah it won’t. This one is the one before the Core so it would just take a few minutes.” Travid said ‘matter-of-factly’ and leaned against the railing of the platform. As time went by, so did some of their patience, specially the six that were stuck in the elevator before for about an hour. Then before they were even down to the Core, they heard weird voices and there were things clunking on the ground. “I’m not the only one hearing that, right?” Firehate looked around and everyone nodded that they heard the strange things that he heard. “Better get ready.” Will pulled out his weapons then soon the others did the same. As the elevator screeched to a halt, they were all shocked to see what was in front of them, hundreds and hundreds of monsters of all kinds were there and saw the group of knights that also consisted of a phantom and a skolver. The monsters looked the knights with an increasing anger welling their eyes.
"Lieutenant and vendor Kozma, one of the knights taking over for Feron, is here to say that the writer, Blindshot still did not get her computer back but is still writing as we speak. Feron is still not able to leave the medical bay yet as the wound is still healing. Odd occurrences such as a rise in the zombie population and other such matter are still unknown at the moment but is being investigated by a squad of knights. That's all I got here on this scrap of paper."
"Hopefully I'll get to be this chapter by now."-Advent
"Don't forget me and Stormer."-Doggies
And now back to the entertainment of the evening.
Chapter 8; Captured?: 11:59AM (Part 1)
They didn’t notice that Mystic was in Trojan-form and looked into the crowd. ‘Follow my lead.’ There was a mysterious voice and they knew it was a female but who? That’s when they looked at Alma and she nodded. “Move, these are prisoners and they need to meet with whoever is in charge.” Alma spoke sternly at the monsters. Then two gremlins walked up to them and one with a bandage on his leg spoke. “We’ll show you the way but first, they need to be in chains. And as for all of you, leave. There’s nothing here for you to see or hear and if you even try to fight one of these knights, you’re going to regret it.” The monsters were soon wide-eyed and left the group alone. Later other gremlins went up to them, but not Mystic, and chained them to each other. “Oh you have got to be kidding me.” Firehate sighed. He soon got poked in the back by a hammer and was told to be silent. ‘Well Mystic is the lucky one.’ Dusk looked up to see the Trojan right over his head, smiling. ‘Ha, least I’m not the one getting chained up to each of you guys.’
‘How are we even able to telepathically talk to each other?’ Will looked at everyone else, all of them shrugging. ‘It’s just a little something I had and added a little in each of your sandwiches.’ They all slowly turned to look at Alma and remembered eating a little of their snacks in the elevator on the way to the Core. ‘What, it’s not poisonous or anything. Just enough so that we could be able to talk to each other in some kind of circumstances, such as this one.’ ‘I’ve got to finish making those headsets.’ Amber sighed and was pushed in the back by a staff a mender had. “Keep moving scum-bag.” Amber glared at the mender and soon he backed up away from her. ‘He really shouldn’t have done that, luckily there aren’t any fire pots here.’ Dusk snickered then Amber looked down at him and he scooted away from her.
“What is with those knights?” Evan asked just in the open air, not really asking to anyone. “Who cares, they’re just the first to witness their home burn in flames.” Arus looked at them and smiled evily. They all were walking in a northeast direction, away from where the monsters were going and were bought into what looked like a jail of some kind. Soon all of them were unchained but was locked up in cell for each of them, their stuff and weapons were taken away and was dropped in a lockbox. “You three, since you captured them, watch them before we bring in either King Tinkinzar or someone else who is in charge.” Alma, Blue, and Mystic nodded and then Arus left them with Evan. “I’ll be right back.” Alma said and turned into an orb and went inside of Xeris’ cell. Evan was sitting in a chair with his hat over his eyes, making it look like he was sleeping. ‘Good thing I got the keys when he wasn’t looking.’ Alma turned back and held the keys up for everyone to see. She put the one of the keys in the lock and it opened for him to get out. Giving Xeris some of the keys, they went to the other cells and opened them up while Blue and Mystic was watching if at any time they might come back. “Incoming gremlin and whatever that giant thing is.” Mystic said and they all ran back in the cells but didn’t close them all the way. “What about the lockbox?” Firehate was about to get out of his cell and grab it when they saw that Arus and someone else come back. ‘I’ll get it.’ And Blue scurried up to the table to grab the lockbox in her mouth and went towards the back and hid it.
“What are all you knights doing here?” The tall, cloaked figure asked them, going by each cell to look inside and see them. “Just a little delving, you know, the usual stuff.” Dusk said, not caring if the figure is his worst nightmare or someone playing a trick on him. “Is that so? Well than, would you like to see what we have in plan for that little town of yours?” The voice was as if someone was driving down and sword down into your mouth but you still live with the pain. “Sir, we’re late on time, should we start on the plan now?” There was a Trojan standing by the door, looking into the room. “Yes, start on the plan now, we must win this important battle. Let’s continue on this subject later, shall we?” Than he rushed out the door and left them all alone. “Me and Evan shall go with the rest, you three stay and watch them.” Arus growled and left as well.
So, when do I get to come in again?
I mean i just blacked out on the lift and nothing since.
I'M NOT DEAD!
So where am I?
It's just that too many characters, different views, other elements that go in this that everyone soon meets in Haven when the monsters are still attacking so it'll take some time. I'm sorry that I didn't let you come back yet like I did with some other characters.
"Hi, token trader Brinks, soon to be Lieutenant is another one of the knights taking over for Feron. Umm I actually don't have anything to say and also it's been a long day. All I got is that Feron would be on air in a few more weeks as he is still recovering from the injury and the trauma of being in the graveyard all by himself and nearly eaten alive. Got anything to add knights and um, monsters?"
"Yea.... hopefully everyone thats been introduced should get some screen time after this."-Ghig
"Same here."-Ztype, Stormer, Doggies, Nerco
Chapter 8; Captured?: 11:59AM (Part 2, 12:04PM)
“Huh, that was easier than what I had thought about before. I actually thought we had to fight our way out of this.” Xeris creaked open his cell door and stepped out. “Here’s the lockbox, but where’s the key?” Blue had the box on her back and Dusk picked it up then set it on the ground. Alma looked though the ring full of keys, trying to find a silver key. After a couple of seconds a few monsters looked in the room than backed out but two came in and tried to fight Travid and Firehate. “Looks like these two like us.” Firehate grunted as he threw the devilite off and it hit against the wall. Travid punched the greaver in eye and soon it backed up and flew away as did the devilite too. “Got the box open yet, I think there’s going to be another wave coming.” Travid yelled as sounds of monsters close by the door was getting louder and louder. “There got it, catch!” Alma dug through the box and threw out weapons for everyone to get in their hands, just in time when the monsters got in and were greeted with the barrels of the guns in their faces. Soon cries of pain were heard and monsters darted away from where the battle was happening. Once there was a path cleared, they ran out into an opening where the monsters couldn’t see them.
All of a sudden what looked like a knight equipped in Almirian Armor and a Skolver cap appeared before them. After a couple of seconds they could see that it was a ghost. “It’s a ghost, but how is it possible?” Will looked around and saw nothing but the others looking up as the knight floated up and than soon into the Clockworks. Then he said,
“I am Advent. Ready your weapons as a war will ravage between you and the monsters that run this maze of gears and towns of their own. Either you win or lose depends on your skill and bravery but remember this, you are never alone no matter what, you are all connected in a way and in this, you need to stay with a group of your allies and even one might turn on you, always keep an eye out for anything. Good Luck, you need it.”
Than he smirked and floated away into the empty air, leaving everyone in awe. Soon Blue barked and everyone came back to their senses. “Come on, you heard that ghost, lets go back to Haven before those monsters get back.” She hurried off in the north where there was a spare elevator in the back where no one, or even monster, ever saw it or even use it. “Now why would they abandon this? It’s in tip-top shape, even new looking at that.” Amber stepped on and looked around in it. “Let’s go, I’ve got enough of this place already.” Mystic was back to a knight but was running as if he was still a Trojan and was Trojan-charging all the way there. Just as they pushed the button, it made an extremely slow ascend to Haven.
“Well no wonder no one bothers to use it, it’s as slow as the slowest even stun effect, EVER.” Dusk groaned and sat on the ground. “Hmm…” Amber walked over to the circuit-breaker box and opened it up. She started pulling wires and putting them in a way no one might ever understand, soon the elevator went faster than any other elevator founded so far. “Well you could have done that when we were in that other one.” Dusk muttered at her and she just went off and looked over the railing. “Hey, if you didn’t have a techie we probably won’t even make it back to Haven at this rate, right?” She looked back and he and Mystic were about to say something but knew that if no one knew how to arrange the wires to go faster, they won’t get to Haven in time. Dusk puffed out a breath of air from his mouth as the floor soon turned to 24 and getting higher up to Haven, getting easier to breath as the air is more collected on higher grounds.
Later, as soon as they got to Haven, everything was in chaos.

"I'm the Spiral Warden, taking over for Feron like everyone else did. I don't have a name, and the author is having Thanksgiving Break, a one week break from learning and wasting it for relaxation. And when Feron comes back, tell me that he won't suffer from this again cause I think I've had enough of his failures at duty."
"So saying that, your like a fearless leader that has no name, correct?"-Stormer
"No more questions 'bout my name please, I've got enough knights being mad at me not letting them go to the next tier."-Warden

Chapter 9; Expected: 12:08PM (Part 1)
-Ghigxhalon
By the time I came to, there were knights on cots and medics running around between them. “Hey, you alright?” I saw and medic running up to me and got out a new bandage from a kit by the wall. “I’m fin-” that's when my arm started to sting, a really bad sting that just stayed there no matter what. “Hold still, once I put this on you should be relived from the pain.” As he was working, I looked around and saw Ztype on a cot next to mine. “He’s fine, just lost some fluids that's all.” I looked down and saw that he was nearly done with the wound, which was quite fast for a medic working in a crowded place like this. “Got a name you go by?” I asked trying to think of a subject to talk about. “Nope, I don’t think I do that is. Everyone just calls me Medic and I like it, seeing where I’m at. You are Ghigxhalon, correct?” He cut off the bandage, tying it off all while looking at a clipboard by the side of the cot. “Yes.” Was all I could even think to say, I mean, what else do you say when someone asks your name? “Well, you should be good to go sooner or later, depending on how your wound is healing. At this rate you should be fine in a few hours. Better get going to other knights that need my help, get well.” With that he rushed off towards the end of the room, where there were knights with more fatal injuries. I looked back over at Ztype, reached my hand out and gave him a little pat on his head.
-Stormer
“ARGG, move faster you piece of junk!!” I yelled as I kicked at the railing, only to jump up and down clutching my foot. “Even I’m not stupid enough to do that.” I looked back and saw Doggies laughing. “Hey, where’s Spore? Spore, come back here little greaver." I started looking over the top of the platform then getting tackled to the ground. When I looked back at it, it was Spore. "Hey there little buddy, where've you been?" He looked like he was shrugging, indicating he got something to hide. I stayed away from the matter then Doggies sighed. "Too bad Advent isn't here." When I heard that I just looked at my feet, he was the one driving the team but now he's gone, better get to finding some other knights that want to join us in the war. As the elevator came to a stop at Haven, there were demos throwing their bombs at the knights running and one landed right in front of us.
-Nerco
After I let those two slip away, I made a metal note to remember every knights' face and putting them on my 'to do list.' I was hacking the ice away at my feet, forced to watch those knights disappear in the shadows. When I finally got free, I went outside and saw nearly half of the army held down in ice. "Everyone who is able to complete their duties, go to Haven and do complete domination of that town!" I shouted and pointed to the extent of the path to elevators. There were cheers and roars as monster scurried to the path, trying not to be tramped upon as they made their way to their destination, to take over Haven once and for all, and to be in control of Cradle. By the time I got to Haven, everything was as to plan and flames were alighted as far as the eye can see.
"Hello and I'm back on, Feron is back and hopefully for a long time now. Thank you to all you knights that have taken over for me while I was gone. The large increase of zombies is nothing but knights running in and disrupting the peace of the undead. All the characters last added are as followed,
Alma; Blue; Stormer; Doggies; Nerco; Amber; Ztype; Ghigxhalon; Dusk; Will; Mystic; Advent; Arus; Xeris; Amazeltoa; Travid; Firehate; Flame; Kozma; Brinks; and the Spiral Warden.
The total of knights that have applied are 17 in all. Good luck knights that are out there, keep an eye out for those zombies."

"Glad I wasn't passed out at that time."-Dusk

The whole Arcade was totaled, almost not looking like an Arcade at all if you don't even know what this place was supposed to be. "Should we split up?" I looked back and saw Blue looking at us. "I think we should, seeing how big we are now. How about me, Amber, Mystic, and Will are one group, Xeris, Travid, and Firehate another. Alma and Blue, you guys can try to help the knights here since you two actually have medical kits." Dusk was looking at the others, I nodded in agreement and soon everyone else did too. "Here, these headsets should help us talk to each other, better than letting Alma hear all our thoughts." She gave each of us a headset that apparently, had our names etched into the sides. Putting it on top of my head, it secured on snugly and felt like nothing was there, expect for a visor that slides down when you want it to, "Ok me, Travid, and Firehate will cover the Bazzar area than." They ran off in that direction as the gremlins didn't see them go. "Ok than guys, that's leaves us with Town Square, seeing that this place looks like it needs medics." I said, as I looked over to Blue and Alma, both nodding before running over to the injured knights that were severely wounded. The rest of us ran out into the Town, the light gleaming brighter than ever.
-Firehate
"Finally something that I really like." Shouting out loudly as I pierced through an unlucky gremlin in the chest, pulling out my Final Flourish to have it bloodied to the hilt. Just as I was about to face another enemy, there was a devilite right behind me, about to throw some kind of stapler I think, at me but was chopped in two by a unexpected skolver. "Better keep your eyes out for anything Firehate." Xeris smirked and ran off in the other direction, facing dozens of fiends and wolves. "Showoff!" I shouted at him, waving my fist in the air and was greeted with a hammer thrown at the back of my head. Looking back and seeing not one gremlin but more than ten, I said angrily, "Oh, so that's how you wanna fight right? Well bring it!!" Dashing into the front lines and demising their numbers down dramatically. But soon more and more came to replace the ones who are gone, not helping us one bit.
-Blue
"Hold still you're going to be just fine." I said softly to a knight waking up from the bit of katnip I dropped in his mouth. He didn't have that many injuries on him, just scratches and bruises from probably a rocket puppy, knowing my expertise on the monsters I had to deal with for some time. I pulled him on my back and walked over to where me and Alma made a little medical bay, out of sight where you won't even know where it was unless you saw someone walk out of it. Walking to where there was an empty cot, I placed the drowsy knight on, then soon I sat down waiting for Alma to come by I saw a group of retrodes walking past the little room. I decided that since I can't really help out here, following the group and finishing them off was the best thing to do. Dashing to one side then the next, I was soon up to a elevator but was far away enough that they didn't notice me. There was another group of monsters there to greet them, each talking about something that I didn't quite understand. Too bad I don't know how to speak constructs cause now would be a good thing to know how. Sneaking up closer and closer, I chopped down on a retrodes' leg, causing it to shock and fall upon another and another soon causing all of the retrodes to have spams. I faced a lumber that was about to bring down it's only large arm, missing by an inch from my head and it soon saw a flash of white and nothing else but a unfavorable way to die from. One down, more than ten more to go.

"Hi, Flame again and welcome to the first day of the Thanksgiving Break! We just got word that the Strangers have gone a bit hesitant helping some of our new knights. So instead, some of our experienced knights decided that if anyone need help on any information of the Clockworks, they would be more than happy to lighten everything up for you. Other than that, even had a wonderful idea on something but it's about time you should go to sleep or you have to do something else than when you come back, you just completely forget about it? The author is having those same problems before but came up with new ideas to replace the other ones. Anything to add to that?"

Chapter 10; Hide: 12:12PM (Part 1)
-Dusk
Seeing as the way things are, we just didn't care and went out into the open and fought our way through the crowd till we were in a clearing, surrounded by monsters of all kinds. Soon that same gremlin from that jail, the same one with the odd sword stepped out of the crowd to face us. "Seems like all of you knights just couldn't listen, could you?" His face was hidden behind his hood and his sword out ready, I spoke up. "We do listen, just that the place you gave us to stay in wasn't our own home." Soon a spookat found its way up to me and bit down on my leg, hard and strong. "GAH, you little,,," Mystic then got his sword out, slicing the kats' throat open and its body crumpled to the ground. "Some restriction from knights and their lack of ability to see the truth before their eyes isn't enough for us to invade before. But now the table flipped and we're in charge of our planet now, not you knights from another world. Since this will be the last of you'll ever see anything but monsters, the name you'll hear forever in you mind is Arus." Then soon the gremlin, otherwise known as Arus, lunged at me with his sword out straight, wanting my life more than anyone else's. Then a few other gremlins followed his lead, attacking Amber and Will each having their swords out, anticipating the gremlins next move. After the gremlins came the jellies that went after Mystic, their square bodies with spikes in them, begging to be impaled into Mystic. I knocked Arus off with my shield and tried to get a hit on him but he backstopped and was about to swing his sword at me when someone jumped up missed Arus just a bit but turned around again and hit Arus in his back, causing him to fall down.
-Ghigxhalon
I left the bay when no one was looking and saw that Haven was totaled to the ground it stand on. Walking towards the fountain, I saw a skirmish over to the east of the fountain, it didn't really look like a skirmish but a monster gang up. As i snuck my way there and was on the roof of the building next to the area, I could clearly see everything that was happening and as soon as the gremlin was about to attack the knight again, I knew I had to help even though my arm was still healing from the wound. Jumping up and holding my Jalovec up high, I aimed for the gremlin but he was to fast so I missed. I used the momentum of the fall and swung the hilt of my sword around, getting the gremlin in his back, he fell down but was pulled out of the crowd by gremlins. "Well that's cheap." I turned and looked at the red knight with a Divine Veil, then at the others who were having a bit of trouble but not that much that they need a lot of help. Suddenly an overtimer jumped on top of my head, trying to slit my throat open but I was quick enough to grab its small body and thrown the little overtimer into the crowd. Soon this became clear to me that these aren't the only monsters in Haven, there has to be more somewhere here but not really noticeable.
-Will
"These little buggers don't want to stop." I looked over and saw Mystic with an expressing like T_T as chromalinks tried to fling their tongues at him and him trying to cut their tongues off as they did. Seeing how he needed my help, I rushed over to one group of the little monsters and giving a quick swing of my Voltedge, they died instantly, clearing up the crowd by a bit. Apparently the never ending mob of monster never want to give up on what they believe is right, the more they killed, the happier they got. At least Mystic had that extra second he needed as he transformed into a Trojan, still a bit weird seeing that, but when he did he made a mad dash out of the mob and made a path for us to get out as well. The gap was slowly closing but we all made it out and kept running no matter what. "So where should we make camp?" I gasped as air greeted me, not so clean air though. "Lets go to the training hall." I looked back and saw someone else I never saw, light green but I could also see that he had the mighty cobalt set on as he followed us. "Lets save the introductions later, now we gotta keep those monsters from following us." Amber yelled as she was running backwards, shooting the monsters back while we were talking. "Heh, sorry there Amber." I replied and pulled out my Volt Driver, quickly shocking most of the enemies to the point where they just collapse and get trampled over. As soon we went around a corner, we went around another corner and they just ran past us, not knowing that knights are hiding there. "Okay, it's clear." Mystic whispered, leading the group into the training hall. It looked destroyed but that's how the training hall should look like, right? We looked around, seeing knights here and there, hiding from the monsters that came here earlier but probably left the place to gather dust and to be forgotten. "Alma, Blue, you guys there? Xeris, Travid, Firehate, what about you three?" Amber was calling in her headset to get an answer from the others. Her expression got depressing but happy despite the fact Haven is nearly taken over. "Meet us in the training hall. Alma and Blue, stay where you are while we deal with things here. Those knights are ready to be over here so let them get their strength than send some of them at a time." She looked at the rumble and sighed. Who knew times like these would be worst than before.
Heh. Though you do often put in character's names without introducing them first (actually, I don't know if this is intentional or not), this is not a bad Fan-Fiction Blindshot. Quite interesting so far and you are pretty good at making the characters interesting also even though there's so many. I'm enjoying watching how you connect them all into the climax.

Chapter 10; Hide: 12:12PM (Part 2 12:25PM)
-Doggies
Running was the only thing on my mind now as these wolvers kept on chasing us though the outskirts of town. Just as soon as me and Stormer stepped off the elevator, wolvers were right there waiting for knights to chop on, they were right about knights coming back to Haven. "Come on, just when I swung my foot at that railing and now this. You do know I'll be limping a bit, don't you?" She looked at me, not happy with the outcome that she had to deal with this now. "Well yea, but can't we try to reason with them?" I pointed my hands at them and one tried to bit my hand. "Hey, bad boy, don't do that." But the wolver just snarled back and tried to pounce on me, luckily I was fast enough to sidestep next to Stormer, only to find that she ran off already. "Move it or lose it Doggies!" She shouted back, sounding a bit cheerful when I started to squeeze past the wolvers and ran after her. And that led us to where we are now, with twenty or more so wolvers chasing us to who knows where. "Oh that is it." I looked over and saw that she already pulled out her Acheron and was into the swarm of wolvers in seconds. Even though I like wolvers I had to help so with my Final Flourish, I sliced one group and stabbed through the rest. By the time I finished my combo, Stormer already finished the whole mob of wolvers and Spore helped as well. "Not fair, you got that?" I joked and she looked back. "Haha, yea I got that. Come on, let's get back before even more of their friends come here. Anything could be happening right now for all we know." And that was true in some cases.
-Third person
As the trio (Xeris, Travid, Firehate) got close-by the training hall, they were greeted by Will who was waiting for them outside. They defeated the monsters and made a quick sprint to the training hall, being careful of course. "Some remodeling you guys did here, still looks better before though." Firehate said while walking in and looking around, everything scattered and knights recovering from the whole experience. "If only this was just a remodel of the whole place, than I won't be so worried." Travid went over and touched a piece of metal that fell, soon some rubble of rocks came and a giant bolder came falling down from the top, luckily he jumped out of the way just in time before it squished him in submission. "That was too close to be true." He gasped as he was still shocked that he was still alive. "Well it did happen and be happy that you didn't die from it." Dusk walked behind him and patted his back, walking over to the other debris lying around. "Hey everyone, lets greet the new guy since he wants to join us." Mystic was happy and jolly as he pulled the light green knight over towards to where everyone could see him. "Us first than you can tell us your name." (No quotes because I'm too lazy to do those anymore.)

Amber
Will

"Alma and Blue!!" was heard as a shout from Ambers' headset was knocked off and she was on the ground, shocked from the sudden outburst. "Ghigxhalon and nice party you guys got going here." He said as he looked around at the variety of knights before him. "I'll take that as a complement than thank you." Xeris said as he turned into a skolver and pulled a knight out from under a rock. "Uhh, explain please." He quivered when he saw Xeris first as a knight then into a skolver. "Don't worry he's still the good guy we all know, just can transform into a skolver and I can transform into a trojan." Then soon Mystic did as he said he could, turning into a trojan leaving Ghig dumbfounded. "Let's take it a step at a time before we lose him." Amber sighed, telling Ghig the long story short.
-Alma
Blue came back from the who-knows-where and said that we can send some of the knights over to the training hall at that time. "Okay, these four are just fine, just shaken from the trauma they've been though so, show them the way." I pointed to the four knights with their backs against the rocky wall, all polishing their weapons as they got nothing else to do other than to sit and talk. "Ready to go?" Blue went up and barked at them, each nodding slowly and getting to their feet. "Just be quiet and careful cause this place is teaming with monsters here and there. Follow me and you should be fine." She went out of the opening, along with four less knights I have to deal with. "Four out, more than twenty more to go." I sighed and walked over to the remaining knights that needed my care.
-Blue
"Right over to the left are gremlins, we know how dumb they are but these are different from the ones you're used to fighting, I'll go first and if you hear my bark, one of you can go. We'll keep on doing this until all of you gets over, got it?" They all nodded so I hurried over to the other side close to where the training hall was. Looking back and over to the gremlins, I saw they were talking so I gave a bark. One came over and the gremlins were still not paying attention so I gave another bark. Another one came but then a gremlin looked this way. They all hid behind the wall but I just looked over and waved at them. Only one waved back and started talking again so I gave two quick barks, it was quiet enough so that the gremlins didn't hear but loud enough so that the knights could hurry and come over quick. As soon as they got over, the gremlins looked back again but we were already leaving back to the training hall. "That was close." One of the knights whispered. When we got there, I saw a skolver at the training hall and didn't know what to do. I just decided to walk up and make something up, yeah that would work in a way that we don't get killed, hopefully. "Are you Blue?" The skolver asked, immediately I remembered and knew who it was. "Xeris? I didn't you what you look like a skolver yet." I laughed as the knights walked in, confusion written all over their faces. I decided to stay out and keep watch since two would be better to convince some monsters that this place was held off, for some time.

-Amber
"So, who wants to join to go into the Core even though there are monsters?" I looked at the four and only one agreed. "I would, name's Erick, half knight half ashtail." As I listened to him talking, I stopped him when he said he was half ashtail. Who knew that other knights, other than Mystic and Xeris, can transform into something else than what they really are. "There are two other knights that I know who can transform into monsters so be proud of your ability to do that. You really want to help?" I asked to be sure he wanted to join. "Of course I would join besides, there's nothing to do when your day job isn't showing up anytime soon. I heard that the bosses won't be up soon too so I'll be bored out of my mind by than." I was going to say something when a pot hit me in the back of the head and I was on fire. I looked back and saw that Ghig had thrown a pot at me, probably not aiming for me but still, I had to get back at him. "I have to go now, talk to you later?" "Okay. Guess I'll wait." And I ran off, with my Levi behind my back and Ghig not expecting anything.
-Stormer
"What the…" Was all I can say when we came back and saw the total destruction oh Haven unfold. Buildings turned upside down, fire set upon every roof, monsters roaming the streets as if it was their own. Never in my life would I suspect his to happen but it did. "Is this really Haven? It hardly even looks like a town anymore." I looked over and saw Doggies, surprise written all over his face. We shook out the fright and got back to the reality of it all, Haven was taken over and we had to help get rid of the monsters. "Hey, Stormer, look over there." Doggies shouted and pointed over to what looked like just smoke. "I know it looks like smoke but look closer, there seems to be knights moving across the grounds." And he was right, when I squinted to see better, there were two knights walking into the arcade. I looked over to the training hall and saw two skolvers there too. "To the training hall?" "Why?" Always with the full details to Doggies. "There's skolvers standing right by the training hall, if there's monsters in there, we can ambush them and get rid of one squad of monsters." "Oh I see now ok, let's go." He jumped off the arch at the front of town square and started sneaking his way through, me right behind him. Hope there are more survivors here than the two I just saw.
And thus, the shapeshifting legacy was born.

"Keep up already." Dusk whispered when I followed up the path to stand right next to him. As I turned around to see if Dusk was there, surprisingly he wasn't as I saw him run towards a crack that led to the makeshift medic bay. By the time I went in monsters passed by, unnoticed of the knight that just went inside and hid behind the wall. "Alma?" Dusk questioned as he looked around, knights on cots with injuries that even I can't handle. "Hmm? Oh you guys are here." Alma popped up from under a blanket that was oddly square-shaped than anything else in the small room. She walked over, looking like she's not really busy but decided to do it quickly said. "A knight says that a friend of his is at the medical bay. If you can find the medical bay, that can help me a lot cause some need special care and fast. He also said that it's hidden so its not easy to find but should be where the alchemy machine is in town square. Heads up, monsters make like some kind of system where a group of them go around and check for knights, like that helps but anyways, keep your eyes out cause some monsters could just be right around a corner if you don't." We both nodded at the information she gave us, who knew medics can even get that much of info. "Anything we might need, pills, vials, stuff like that?" I asked as I remembered that there were more monsters than what we could handle. Also that there might be an alarm or something they could signal that they needed help. "Actually I did find some shields here but I don't know what they do. Maybe you guys know?" She walked over to the blanket she was under before and lifted it away to reveal a wooden box. Me and Dusk looked at each other before carefully opening it up and seeing that inside there were shields, shields from King Krogmo's Coliseum out here in a probably abandoned room. We looked at each other in surprised than smiled as though we found a treasure chest full of crowns and ce.
-Ztype
I woke up, with a migraine and a painful throb on my side. Lucky I was small so I could see the full damage upon me. Looking down my body was wrapped in a bandage of some kind, lying in a cot with a headache that could last for days, even weeks. But I remember being carried to the elevator by Ghig, I wonder where he is now. "Hey, so you're awake now aren't you?" I looked over and saw a knight, a medic knight. "Don't worry I'm not a bad guy knight, just a good knight I guess you can say. Wait a minute, your bandage needs to be changed, hold on." He dropped the kit he was carrying and looked at my side. He just took it apart, put some kind of medicine on and bandaged it all up again, all in record timing. "Umm, where's Ghigxhalon and who are you?" I tilted my head and looked as he put all his stuff away, in a neat order somehow. "I don't have a name, you can call me Medic though and your friend well, he went off on his own little adventure of his. I don't know where or when he left cause you can hardly keep track of the knights that are here already but, he should be fine. You on the other hand need to stay here and be taken care of because that wound is deep. I better get going, hope you feel better." He got up and ran towards another knight who looks like he got the wind knocked right out of him during the battles. Guess I'll wait here either until I get better or until Ghig gets back.
-Tails
This whole time going down into the Clockworks just to find King Tinkinzar was a waste of time. Meeting him was the only way I could really be a part of Vanadukes' empire, should have never listened to that zombie that was even barely alive nor, let alone dead. I was about to step onto the elevator back up to Haven when a voice stopped me. "Why did you go all the way here, didn't you want to finish the whole journey?" I looked back and saw a knight almost, but not a knight. He was green, that I can tell but had some spots that were red, even some of the equips almost every knight wore. "I'm not here to do any runs, I'm looking for a way to join Vanadukes' order. These knights are just too weak for my tastes, even some of the best are the worst. Either way, I want to join because I want to see those knights squirm and suffer for being what they’re aren’t.” I looked up and saw him reach his hand out, but kinda hesitant as if he wasn’t sure if he should this. “Well than, welcome to the order, for now. Until Vanaduke isn’t busy, you could talk to him more if you want. I’m Nerco, one of Vanaduke’s best guards and assassins, who are you supposed to be?” I put my hand in his and we both shook, tying the ties of whatever I have left of being a knight to be part of the monsters. “Name’s Tails.” "Welcome aboard Tails, to the order." He smiled as he led the way deeper down the Clockworks.
How does Ghigxhalon go on an "advantage"? Did you mean "adventure?"
Yea my writing app auto-spells the words to a word it thinks I mean. I didn't notice that.
Chapter 5; Knights' Hint: 11:12
Different knights equals to different outcomes, different monsters lead to different consequences, all this is based on is the quality of the two and their bravery.
Ghigxhalon was heading to a Deconstruction Zone, ordered by the Spiral Order that there have been gremlins killing more knights there than anywhere else. Of course, a knight given an order by the Spiral Order would believe that finding a gremlin, and silencing it, would be easy. Ghig didn't think of that as he headed to the tier 3 floor. Once he got there, he got off and held out his Blizzbrand, in any cause of a gremlin appearing out of nowhere. He saw that it was clear and headed to a line of metal blocks and hid behind them. One thing he didn't notice while heading there, was that there was a small Grimalkin there as well. When he heard the roar the Grimalkins' make, he turned to look and saw that it was right next to him, jumping when he saw it. "What are you doing here? Isn't your kind in Candlestick Keep?" Ghig calmed down when he saw that it wasn't going to do any harm to him. "I'm sorta here because of the bigger Grimalkins. I ran here to hide, and hopefully no one notices that a small Grimalkin gone. My name is Ztype, what's yours?" "Mine is Ghigxhalon, call me Ghig. Hey since you're here, want to help me out with something?" Ghig petted on Ztypes' head and surprisingly, he purred. "Okay, I got nothing else to do." Then they heard someone talking in the background. Ghig motioned his hand to get low, and he looked over the top of a block.
"Please, don't talk about your weapons anymore, sir." The gremlin was a Darkfang Thwacker, his hammer in his hand but there was also another gremlin, this one looked much more different from the Thwacker. "But I bet you've never saw this weapon before. I named it Endpoint, sharpest blade that I ever saw in the armory. But other than that, you are still new to this place as there are more experienced gremlins here, then soon you'll be in the Crimson Order like I am." He had a sword brighter than a Levi held to the sun, his clothes were darker than the Thwackers' and a red insignia that no knight have ever saw, were on over where there used to be the gremlins' insignias.
Ghig looked on, got out a camera, and took a picture of the gremlin with the weapon called 'Endpoint' and the one next to him. He dropped the camera back in his pack, lucky it didn't hit any of the other items he had in there. "I'm guessing that's the gremlin who caused all those deaths." Ghig gripped on his sword tighter, looking as the gremlins walked closer to the blocks. "Why are you here anyways?" Ztype whispered to him, aware at how close the gremlins were now. "I was sent here by the Spiral Order to eliminate the gremlins here, but my prime target is the one who killed the knights passing here, that I'm guessing is the one with black clothing. Sure you wanna help?" "Yes, I'm sure. We could get the Thwacker first then deal with the other one soon." Ztype saw the Thwacker walk farther ahead of the other one and looked back at Ghig to see what his reaction would be to the plan. "I can see why you would want to get the Thwacker first, depending on how far away he gets, also that the gremlin might be easier to take out."
As soon as the Thwacker walked past the blocks, Ghig grabbed him by the leg, pulled him towards them, then Ztype bit down on the gremlins' head. A blood-wrenching scream was heard throughout the Deconstruction Zone, but the gremlins just thought that it was just another knight meeting their fate by the Crimson Order member that was there. As soon as Arus saw that happened, he jumped on top of Ghig and started to choke him. Ztype flew up and pushed Arus off, causing the two to roll off to the side. Ghig ran up to Arus and let the charge of his Blizzbrand go, causing Arus' right arm to become immobilize. Arus jumped up and landed on an overhead beam, holding his Endpoint up and ready as Ztype flew at him with an open mouth, and Arus saw for a moment, that the teeth gleamed white. Sidestepping to the side and swinging the sword in a downward position, he made a deep gash in the little Grimalkins' side. He watched as Ztype fell to the ground with a thud and a yelp, but then got hit in the back of the head by a piece of metal which a gremlin had left. He gained his balance soon and swung his froze arm on the beam. Waving his arm around a bit to get the blood flowing again, he jumped down and was greeted by a Jalovec charge attack that missed him centimeters away from his head.
Swinging the Jalovec again, Ghig made contact with Arus in the leg, same thing happened as Arus got Ghig in the arm. Both grimaced against the pain, and saw that they were losing a great deal of blood. "See you later in the future, knight." Arus chuckled and started to limp away faster than anyone with a deep wound in their leg. Ghig looked over to where Ztype was and walked towards him. The wound in his side wasn't too severe but Ghig got out a gauze that he brings in cause of an emergency like this. Wrapping it around the Grimalkin, he tied it off and tried to heave Ztype onto one of his shoulders. He started walking towards the elevator, gently dropping Ztype onto the platform, walked towards the button then pushed it up. He saw a small note taped above the button, he pulled it down, opened it and what it read:
You are a lucky knight, as is with others that have faced him,
you are not alone, for the journey ahead needs knights with bravery and courage,
to save the new home they found and an old home they have lived in.
You must not tell anyone of this letter cause that will alter the future.
I wish you luck, knight.
He looked on the back and flipped it over again but found nothing that could point out who wrote it. Soon he folded it and put it in a pouch where he kept smaller important things. The pain soon started to become excruciating, he gripped on his arm, sat down then saw nothing.
