Back onto the topic of this two-year-old thread...
What criteria do you use to determine who is the "best lockdown player?" Damage and even captures are not particularly good indicators. You can run all around the map, capping every point over and over, getting lots of caps while still losing the game because the other team takes them back as soon as you leave.
Damage may reflect your skill in combat, but not your value to your team if all that damage is dealt chasing down retreating enemies and fighting away from the capture points. Fighting right outside your team's base is the worst and a complete waste of time.
I think that defending a capture is far more important, which is one reason I choose to play a Guardian bomber, and I'd say I'm pretty darn good at it. I don't get much damage or many caps (except when my team is not playing well and I'm forced to move from point to point to try to make up for it), and I die a lot when trying to get into position with opponents on my tail. However, I can sit on a point and hold it against an onslaught for quite a while most of the time (skilled gunners or 2-3 gunners together can often take me down fairly quickly). Meanwhile, if my team is any good, they go around capturing other points, and my team wins the game. I had a blast the other night holding a single point against 2-3 not-so-good players for the last couple of minutes of a match.
But, people don't notice players like me as much since we don't rush in and murder them in 2 seconds. We're just "that annoying bomber" or "bomb spamming noob" or whatever. :p

over my about half a year of lockdown, i have gotten a lot better, back when i started lockdown, i considered 5k good, now, however, 5k is extremely bad for me, and also, take note that im a non-uv player, so even if i havent into your top 10 list, these are the people on this thread that i either always own or sometimes own ok im not listing them until im on my computer, would take me an hour on my 3DS
