Just some people that make Lockdown worth 200 crowns.
Maydiee (Striker), Skullerdan (Striker), Freezingflame (Anything), Iron-hawk (Guardian), Rdzknightz (Striker), Emotionless (Striker), Kingbowser (Striker/Recon), I've never viewd spamming bombs to be skillful, but there are some bombers that stick out") Roarr (Bomber), Zelstro (bomber/Striker), Lemon-neko (Bomber). (I could name more but these 3 just stick out to me) Skybrandon (striker). Countless others from Order of Venus. Bacon-strip (Striker), Rubyeclipse is just awesome to have around and make Chris mad (Not that it's hard but still:) Fodow (Striker), Lowric (Recon). Oh boy..
There are tons of good players..
Guardians would be Badworm and Produkt. Both use Snarbolax gear and are very solid Guards.
I'm not too shabby of a Guard myself but I don't have any Trinkets nor UVs so I've only hit 13K damage a few times, sadly.
As far as Strikers, there are tons...
Namewithnumbers was one of the most annoying to ever fight, his ASI is outrageous (Vog cub + UVs) and he backs up and Argents so much you usually can't get a hit on him.
Exileddread, only played him once, he did a solid 15K more damage than I did.
Blueflood, pure-gunner, super annoying to fight (I'm a Guardian so...gunners are my achilles heel).
Bighondo, another gunner.
Nethrom, uses a heavenly-iron helmet (not sure about armor lol). Not the best Striker but worth mentioning, especially since he doesn't use clone gear.
Chris was a good fight as well, though the first couple games he played he wasn't doing so hot. He warmed up and hit some 30K damages though.
One of my games with him. You can clearly tell from the chat that I don't visit the 13K-damage range very often. I try though..I try...

Jcasdfqwer is a solid Striker with very tight circles that makes it hard for a Guardian to fight back against.
Both Kennys, meaning Kennyn and Kennys-Knight. I get them confused all the time...Kennys is in Knightmare and Kennyn is in Jempire.
RICH Jaroche is pretty good, like many in Finesse,
Sushh,
Saidxp, another gunner,
Killbot (Forget the rest of his name), and his friend Invincibility are both pretty good...when they're not trolling.
Sypsy, who usually guns (Proud to be a friend of Sypsy),
I would say Blueberrymuffin but his incessant complaining throughout the majority of his games annoys me and makes my Lockdown experience much less enjoyable.
Those are all the Strikers who I've played against, that I can remember off the top of my head. But there are tons of great players in this game.
Recons -
I don't really pay attention to many recons usually, but...
Rhipdclxvi is the best recon I've played with and against.
That's all I can think of in T3...never played any T2 and hardly any T1.

Turn off your auto aim and try to fight any one of the major t2 LD players, ALONE. You'll lose everytime. Heck, leave your AA on and they will still wipe the floor with you
I've seen you play enough to know the only way you could beat sky, rdz, or dragon is to either run back to heal multiple times or bring your whole team to fight them.

But the best player without UVs definitely is RDZknightz. Though he might he acquiring a flourish with some asi soon.....as far as I know, ancientdragon, skyb, Bighondo, all use UVs. I won't say which, since that is their private information.
Idk about T3 since I don't play that, and I don't play T1 since I heard it take forever to get a game. I do kinda miss the time of unique weapons and armor though.....(those swords that inflicted status on normal swings like the hot and static edges, thwack hammer, and the armor).

Just 2 people I noticed in LD today:
Snrub - A boss with the rocket hammer.
Thisnameisinuse - The scariest gunner i have ever met. (I've played with Blueflood, Br-Girl, and Bighondo before, but this guy was terrifying. Hitting him was near impossible!)
PS: Bobxloblaw has been mentioned once (1st page). I haven't seen him in LD lately, but he is quite an amazing striker.

skybrandon- Fun to fight. Kills me more often than not. I'd like to think I give him a good run for his money though XD
spiral-hipster - friend of mine, also kills me more often than not XD
Kanze - Solid Striker
Warlordx - Haven't seen him in a match in a while, but always fun to play against
Bkka - Excellent guardian and striker, always fun to run with or play with or against
Ndog - Friend of mine, generally a solid striker on the team

Not going to make a list as it'd be excessively long, but just pointing out a few glaring omissions from most of these:
Thisnameisinuse- an incredible gunner as Dark-Flare said above. If you think the Valiance is a joke of a weapon, fight him and you'll be sure to change your mind.
Roarr- best bomber I've encountered. This guy flat-out knows his stuff.

I played with Thisnameisinuse yesterday, and he was absolutely destroying me. He makes me want to craft a Valiance.
I mean, hitting him was impossible. Probably in the top five players I've met.
He also gave me my lowest total of damage in a couple of months, 3.5K.

I mainly play T2, since I've been doing that forever. It's been a complete pro-fest lately. I don't know about the other tiers, but I'm guessing the same is true there, since there are so few people playing lockdown compared to the hundreds that were there a month or two before.
It's hard to decide on a 'best' Lockdown player. Looking at damage numbers isn't always enough; I may get top damage in a game but know that I've been completely outclassed by someone who kept killing me one on one. Other people might be plagued by the double tragedy of latency and slow processing (hi T.T), which essentially handicaps their performance a lot. And some people use bloody hammers.
