Oh haha Greenlocust. I have him on my friends list. Decent Guardian for T1 he is.

Nikou I haven't dealt with. Golza I have. All I know is if I see him, a thwack hammer is gonna be banhammering me back to the respawn place.

T2: Ancientdragon as others have mentioned. Only counter I got is my capacitor. Although I can't T2 anymore cause all my gear is 4*'d now. >.<

There is also a T2 friend on my list. Generallegionare. He focuses on capping as a striker/guardian. Its something I don't commonly see anymore.

Maybe sometime in the distant future, when I'm decked out in bombing gear and decide to go Full Mad Bomber + 2* Elite bomb focus module, I'll go ahead and do some striker bombing stunts. :P

Timeframe wise: gimme a year or two :P

Now that I play lockdown a lot, like TOO MUCH. (Like 2500 krogmo coins without boosters) I can get a pretty good opinion on who's good and who isn't.

I've improved quite a bit, but that's probably because I'm an auto-aim cheater.

The following people are ones that usually give me a hard time, (in order of hardest time giving, ex. Exiled is a pain in the ass)

I don't think guys even know how AT helps you in pvp as a striker. It gives you phantom range when you boost. Other perks can't really take advantage of it.

Blazefury - my only problem is that he's a bit up himself, but he's a good player.
Bodyguard-CN - Surprised not to see him mentioned, everytime I see him on the opposing team I know the only way I'm winning if is we somehow avoid him the whole game.
Meida - Terrifying. Usually, against Skolvers using DA/GF, I can slip in and smack them between hits with my Acheron, but the first time I tried this, I got a sword to the face like they were a Vog Cub. In the end, it took me and a guildmate wailing on him to take the guy down.

I haven't played LD in a while though. Will do that now I have my Snarbolax Cap (used to always have my Ash Tail Cap which never helped)

Starterknight that's because those 3 players you mentioned are EU players while the rest of the lists are US players. For the most part i agree with you about the ones you mentioned. I would add Hadn and Nalrayi to that list for EU.

US wise I haven't played there alot, but from the people I played there a fair bit I would have to say: Sciasz, Thengel and Namewithnumbers.

I played blueflood yesterday

I played blueflood yesterday and he is a really good gunner. By the last round I was playing I finally figured him out and managed to kill him repeatedly throughout the game, but he is a real pain to kill and I was impressed.

I've played a lot of the other ones on these lists and all of them are really good, but I can handle them (in other words, it isn't an automatic slaughtering of me and sometimes I outdo them). I can't remember who I was playing this morning, but I couldn't even touch him :-P

Hmmm, I have played so many good players but only Sciasz seems to be the best and I don't think there's anyone who can take him down 1 on 1. His FF and GF combo is deadly. I sometimes think that he's using some kind of special equipment to control his knight :). He rarely misses hits.
Other players I remember Namewithnumber, Canozo, Badworm( due to his good internet connection I always get hit before the animation ), Blueflood: they are good but sometimes make mistakes leaving themselves vulnerable.
I didn't play much against Rhip and Exileddread but as far as I remember they were good.

Sorry if I forgot any others.

So, I just want to mention a few players with play styles/skills that are unique.
But to make it more fun, I came up with animals that these certain players reminded me of!

Exileddread - a quick cheetah, who can dash around his prey landing numerous pounces before the prey has a chance to fight back
Namewithnumbers - a feisty wasp, who's size (Vog gear) can be misleading as he dodges every hit and counters with a fiery sting
Dredio - a tiger with a mean attitude, who takes large bites and giant hits (his Gran Faust) to wipe out his enemy
Blueflood - a clever monkey, who taunts his opponent with unpredictable movements, sprinkled with the occasional pew pew of his guns
Lowric (as a recon) - a sly snake, taking account of every movement of his prey, moving in slowly for a merciless kill
Pakuun - a ferocious rhino, landing hit after hit with an intent gaze, protecting his territory

Name and shaming is against TOS. This thread is about your opinion on who are the best Lockdown players, not to name and shame one of the players someone has suggested as one of the best. I've played with Icy before and she's done more than 10K. Icycloud doesn't suck, she's good. It seems like you're jealous of the skills she has? Or you bear a grudge against her. Either way, such attacks are still against the TOS and I recommend you cease any attacks on her. Immature troll is fail.

Onto the topic, I believe Thunderbog, Ancientdragon, Icycloud, Rubyeclipse, Badworm, Golza and Minialice as some of the best Lockdown players.
Some of them get better latency than I do, making my hit rego seem off on my screen. I attack first on my screen but I take damage first etc.

I would like to congratulate all the Asian/Australian-area players who manage to scrape more than 10k damage most of the time. It's much harder than it looks (e.g. 30 second freeze anybody? invisible polaris shots? 300+ ping?).

That includes icycloud. I can never pull out my AP fast enough when she's around :P

Players like chris who buy asi very high ff and max uved skolver r going to have a huge advantage. If everyone had outstanding uvs or noeone had outstanding uvs, the result of the best player in the match may be different. For example i'm good in tier 3 lockdown; i normally get around 12-15kce with my DTB. But when i'm in tier 1 lockdown with my asi vh Heavy hatchet, i've never been outplayed massivly and about 97% of the time i play, i'm the one with the most damage and on the winning side. IMO about 30% of LD is what gear you have and which uvs u have with it.

Being a good/best player depends on

Mostly how fast you connect to the server/how close you are to the server.
UV's on weapons is also a plus but not necessary.

I had a chance of playing on a desktop computer with a very fast high speed internet at my friend's place without heart trinkets, equipped with skolver set, a flourish and argent peacemaker only, no asi, no autotarget. My performance was godlike! It seems other players miss a lot and couldn't really pinpoint where i am in the instance that i move. I hit them before they know it and i take out guardians really fast. I mean i took out 3-4 full penta skolvers with toothpicks and gran faust without even trying hard. They keep missing and missing and missing even if i'm so close to them. Takes no skill at all.

I play with a crappy laptop usually that lags like a slideshow whenever I face encounters. So this is why I die really fast against players with better connection, gear, and computer.

In addition to excelling at lockdown, these players have an excellent attitude. They are fun to play and talk to. I once had a pros match: Ancient and Bighondo (and a few others- my team) vs. Rdz, Astro (I think), and another pro I don't recall. Best match ever.

As I was saying these players have an awesome attitude. All except bacon, heydron, and Bryan. But that's only because I haven't talked to them.
Personally, I suck compared to these players. Nonetheless, I still enjoy lockdown with my troika. ;)
