Its really quite simple. on the event page guild masters can post "events." they appear above all the other events and can just be a message. In addition to being able to create a message, the guild master can also set in a future time based off his time zone, and it will automatically be translated into the time zone of its viewer. With this, guild masters can easily keep in contact with their members, and organize time specific events such as lock-down tournaments with ease.

@Bromon:
You can move your thread. To (in essence) "delete" or "lock" your thread, move it to the Graveyard. Not sure that Admins ever graveyard stuff in this section.
I'd recommend using the Search Bar too next time (Or just scan over the front page...since it's on it right now), we get loads of people who don't, and make repeat suggestions all the time.
Now for a short moment of self-advertisement before this thread is graveyarded, this idea is here as well, and already on PAGE ONE!
