@Atgatg What lines do you want Blue to level up to? Heavy Plate Shield to- ? Seraphic set to- ? And so on.

@Kaijuhunter What lines do you want Satoshi to have? Mighty Cobalt to- ? Mighty Defender to- ? ANd so on.

"Now… you die!”

~Play Anxious Heart~

Ice became frightened, he had no idea what that rush of movement was

whatever it was it stopped. He stood up shakily, and looked around in paranoia; he

could have sworn that he saw something. Ice looked back at the others; he could tell

they saw the movement too, because they were trembling.

“O-ok guys, uh, we need to get to the Darkfire Vanaduke G-gate,” Ice was

shaking uncontrollably from fear. The others nodded fast; it seems as if they didn’t want

to be kept up in this creepy hell-hole. Ice felt around in his pocket for his Shadow Key,

after all these years he could finally avenge Fire! He smiled, but the smile didn’t last

long, because something sharp and cold rammed him!

After Ice got his bearings back, he saw his assailant, it was an Ice Cube!

What the hell? Ice stood up and got out his Acheron and sliced it in half. It

shriveled up most unpleasantly. Ice stood up, and looked back at the team, they were

astonished, and Ice didn’t blame them either. He wondered why there was a Jelly in a

safe place like the Twenty-Third Depth. Ice shook his head, it probably fell down

here or something. Then, something caught his eye, the Ice Queen gate was not

locked, and there was no elevator!

Ice was instantly fearful, what he feared was becoming a reality! Suddenly, he

heard the familiar hum of the elevator; he saw the elevator come into view, with them

came a battalion of Ice Cubes and Void Gels.

~Play Let the Battles Begin (Piano Version) ~

Ice took action immediately, he went up and slashed at the first Ice Cube, and hit

a Void Gel with the hilt of his sword. The other Divine Avengers quickly followed Ice’s

lead, Trevor threw one of his Ash of Agnis, Grittle shot his Pepperbox, Aria broke in her

Hunting Blade by hacking at the Ice Cubes, Satoshi and Julius did a back to back

fighting tactic, Vot went crazy and plunged his Leviathan Blade into one of the Void

Gels. Ice jumped on a Void Gel stabbed it with his Glacius, as it shriveled up he slid on

the remains while taking out his Acheron and stabbing another Ice Cube.

It was madness, more and more battalions of gelatinous creatures came through

on the elevator. The team fought long and hard, but it would seem as it would do

nothing, the constant waves of slimes made it hard, and the team would soon get

overwhelmed. Despite the circumstances, Ice fought like a mad man, stabbed Ice Cube

there, cut the body of a Void Gel in half, broke a piece of an Ice Cube off and stab it

over and over, freeze a Void Gel in place to kill it with ease.

Aria couldn’t comprehend this. The Jellies can operate the elevators now! She jumped up on a wall and shot from there, killing Void Gels in only a couple of

shots, making it easier for the rest of the team, she knew Vot couldn’t kill it with his

limited arsenal. Aria looked over where Vot was standing to make sure he was OK. “He

seems alright, nothing he couldn’t handle,” she said aloud. Aria saw that a Void Gel was

inching up the wall that Aria was on, she shot it and it fell down, when it landed it

couldn’t get up, trying frantically to get back up before somebody killed it. Ice wasn’t so

merciful, he stabbed the gel and it shriveled up into nothing.

Aria smiled, she saw the whole thing from her vantage point, it was good to know

that somebody like Ice was on her side. Aria looked over towards one of her team

mates, she looked upon Grittle who was in somewhat of a struggle, she could

understand that, he was in 3-4 star gear. She shot the Ice Cube that was giving him a

good struggle. Then she shot a Void Gel additionally for good measure.

Grittle looked up, he saw Aria and smiled, he gave her a thumbs-up. She nodded

her acknowledgement. Back to work. He tossed a Vortex at a group of gels.

The gels were closer than he thought, he felt his body getting sucked into the bomb’s

radius, he broke into a run, then he slipped, he grabbed frantically hoping to catch onto

something, but the struggle was futile. Grittle was sucked up into the Vortex and was

battered against the gels, then came the explosion.

Blue heard a deafening explosion; she paid no attention to it. Just one of

Trevor’s bomb’s. She was rummaging through her bag of supplies, checking for a

special herb for treating burns. Then, suddenly, she heard a thud of something hitting

the floor. Blue looked in the general vicinity of the impact to see what it was. It was

Grittle! She rushed over towards him, looking through her stores for that burn medicine

she was missing.

“Mm, this smells good!” said Trevor to himself. He snuck into Blue’s stores when

she wasn’t looking and took some burn medicine; he figured she wasn’t going to use

any burn medicine in a JELLY battle. And anyways, it smelled good.

He made sure the smell wouldn’t get the better of him. He took out an Ash of Agni in

with the hand not occupied by his burn leaves. Trevor put the leaves on the ground for

now, he had a couple of Ice Cubes to attend to, and he threw the Agni at the jellies. He

saw the crackling circle of fire and burning slimes. Behind him, Trevor felt a rush of cold

wind he saw the burn leaves gave into the wind and land into the blaze of fire. He tried

to save the leaves, but he was on his stomach grabbing for them frantically, and then

saw the leaves incinerate in the fiery inferno. NO! Not Blue’s leaves… they smelt

so good…

Satoshi, Vot, and Julius were all cornered by a ton of Void Gels and Ice Cubes,

they fought hard and violently, but they were eventually cornered… and disarmed. Vot

face palmed, Satoshi bit his lip, and Julius… had one last trick up his shoulder pad.

Julius fired one of his optic lasers. The beam hit one of the Ice Cube’s. It was

completely stunned, it had never seen anything like it, and it burned it until there was

nothing left. The other slimes, who watched the whole thing started to back away from

Julius. Seizing the moment Satoshi and Vot lashed out with their swords, Vot jumped on

an Ice Cube, and plunged his sword into it, and Satoshi charged up his Ascended

Calibur and unleashed it on the slimes.

Blue was searching frantically through her stores; she couldn’t find anything in

her bag of medicine. She grabbed her bag of stores and shook it until it was all emptied

out on the floor. Nothing! She took out her wand she had stolen from a

dead Gremlin Mender when she was little. Blue had never mastered the art of magic

healing, but she gave it a shot. ”A heads up, this may hurt you, it may heal you, or it

may give you a little relief,” Blue warned. Grittle managed a smile, “Good to know,” he

replied. She waved the wand above her head and said “Mending!” and then pointed it at

the wound. “Ahhhh, much better!” said Grittle relieved. “So it worked?” asked Blue in

amazement. “Better than that, probably indestructible!” said Grittle. “Well, thanks! I’m

going to get to work now,” he said pulling out his Pepperbox. He started running back

towards the battle firing his Pepperbox as he went.

Trevor walked up to Blue shyly, “Umm, hey Blue, I have somewhat of bad

news…” said Trevor meekly. Blue rolled her eyes, “What is it Trevor?” asked Blue

hoping it wasn’t too bad. “I uh, burned up your burn treatment leaves…” Trevor said

wincing. Blue drew a breath as if she was about to speak, “I DIDN’T MEAN TO! It just

smelled so good, and we weren’t going to fight any fire themed monsters! And some

wind blew them into the flames of my Ash of Agni!” exclaimed Trevor. “It’s ok, I took

care of it,” said Blue. “You mean… there was a burn?” asked Trevor. “Yes, it was

Grittle. You can get burns from explosions too you know…” said Blue. “Ok, I’ll be more

careful next time!” said Trevor running off. As he ran off Blue face palmed.

Aria planned this shot perfectly, a shot that would go through 7 Void Gels in the

eye. “WAHOO! YEAH!” Aria heard this noise and was startled, and she accidentally

shot her Argent Peacemaker at the ceiling and hit a dead lamp which happened to be

right over the gels. The lamp crashed down and startled the gels and they scattered.

Aria face palmed and looked at what made the noise. “VOT! What the hell do you think

you’re doing?” Aria yelled at Vot. Vot looked up, “I’m just having fun here!” he replied

while he back-slashed at an Ice Cube. Aria rolled her eyes and shot a Void Gel that was

right in front of Vot. Vot fell back and tripped over a Jelly Core, startled. Aria laughed

and went back to work.

Ice was running slashing at anything that got in his way. He jumped on an Ice

Cube, smashing it under his feet, and grabbed hold of a working lamp hanging from the

ceiling. Ice got out Fire’s Firo Driver and let hell loose, melting Ice Cubes. Ice jumped

down from the lamp stabbing IceKlaw into the ground, which sent explosions of ice in

four different directions.

Ice grinned, he surveyed the battlefield. All the others were occupied, Aria was

shooting from on top of the wall, Trevor was smelling some leaves, Grittle was throwing

his Vortexes, Vot and Satoshi were tag-teaming, and Julius was melting an Ice Cube

with his ocular lasers. This will never be enough, we will get overwhelmed soon

enough! Ice then thought of a great idea, “Aria! Shoot the chains on the elevator!”

he ordered Aria. “Why?” she questioned. “No talking just do it!” he yelled back. Then, he

too began to shoot at the chains with the Firo Driver.

The chains began to melt from the fiery bullets from Fire’s Firo Driver. Suddenly,

the chains Aria was firing at broke! Then Ice charged up the Driver and it exploded

with fiery ricochets going everywhere, under the intense heat, the chain broke loose!

Ice rushed over to the gap of space where the elevator was supposed to be bringing

in reinforcements, instead, Ice got there just in time to see the elevator with all the

gelatinous monsters crash into the ones waiting on standby. Ice winced at the sound of

the metal crashing into the ice ridden landscape on the bottom.

~Play Victory!~

“Wahoo! We did it!” exclaimed Aria happily. The squad happily started

congratulating each other, telling them the great job they did, and how they fought,

when a voice rang out over all the happiness, “Not quite…”

~Play The Shinra Corporation~

The voice was cold and metallic, bewildered, team looked to see who was

speaking. It was a knight

The voice was cold and metallic. The party looked over at who was speaking.

The knight was dressed up in the Mercurial Demo suit, on his belt was a couple of

Deconstructors equipped. “Are you trying to stop us?” asked Ice. “We’re not trying,” said

another knight as she emerged from the darkness. “We will” said yet another knight

who materialized in a blizzard of ice. The second knight that appeared had Dragon

Scale Mail equipped and a Firebreak Helm, probably as a costume, with a Gran Faust

in her hand and a Barbourus Thorn Blade on her back. The third knight that appeared

in the blizzard had a Mighty Cobalt Helm and Azure Guardian Armour, he was holding

an Aeigis and in his right hand he was holding, a sword composed of ice. You could

tell that knight meant business, because his dark blue eyes glared at you with burning

hatred.

“We have orders to kill you all,” said another knight who stepped out of the

darkness. He was dressed in the Golden Rose set. “And we won’t fail!” said another

knight, but he quickly retreated back into the darkness, Ice only had enough time to

identify his Shadowstun Slicker, Chaos Cowl, and the gleam of a Blitz Needle. A knight

in a Plasmatech Bomber suit appeared with an Ionized Salt Bomb, Nitronome, and a

Graviton Vortex clipped to his belt. Another knight stepped out from the darkness with

a Ghostmane Stalker at her side, the knight, had a Vog Cub Coat and Firebreak Helm,

there was a Leviathan Blade on her back and she had a Venom Veiler, Cahallan, and

Umbra Driver all strapped on her belt.

“Now before we kill you I want you to know us by our names,” said the Mercurial

knight, “I am Dwayne!” “I am Diana,” said the Gran Faust wielder. “My name is

Kamron,” said the Rose knight. “I would be Ryder” said the Plasmatech knight. “I am

Morgana, and next to me is Arena,” said the Vog Cub Coat girl, next to her Arena

growled. “I’m Jonathan…” said the Shadowstun knight. “I am Frostrex,” said the ice

knight. “ATTACK!” yelled Dwayne.

~Play Fight On!~

In a flash Frostrex charged at Ice and brought up his sword, Ice blocked it

with IceKlaw. Aria shot her Argent Peacemaker at Dwayne, he ducked and threw

a Deconstructor. Ryder and Grittle both threw their Vortexes at each other which

cancelled each other out with equal elemental energy. Vot ran up and slashed at

Morgana, she evaded it and kicked Vot in the stomach, and he got up and hit her with

the hilt of his sword. Ice and Frostrex were still holding the struggle with his sword

against IceKlaw.

Julius took Arena by surprise with the shadow edge of his sword; Arena winced as the blade took its toll on his arm. Disappearing he threw shards of

Moonstone at Julius.

Diana slashed at Satoshi with her Gran Faust, the wide slash barely missed

him, as she swung the Gran Faust for her finisher, and he ducked and sweep-kicked

at her legs to trip her. Diana landed hard on the ground with a big thud. Aria ducked as

a driver bullet sailed over her head. You could tell even though he was hidden in the

darkness that he was still shooting at them. It didn’t help them at all, they were even, but

they were now matched in skill. Taking on hundreds of slimes was somewhat easy, but

this, this was hard as hell.

Ice kicked Frostrex in the stomach and shot a Firo Driver at him in his recovery

state. Ice saw the pain on Frostrex’s face, but that look was quickly replaced with

infuriation, he disappeared and materialized behind Ice and stabbed him with yet

another weapon, Ice had no idea what it was, but is sent icy pains throughout his body.

He could tell it was a knife of some sort; it was curved with spikes on the false edge.

Ice yelled in pain, he was mad now. Ice brought his Divine Avenger behind his back at

Frostrex, but he ducked and disappeared again.

Satoshi felt the searing pain that hit him when Diana hit him with her Gran Faust,

well, she threw it at him; he dodged most of it but, it still went along his back and cut

along his shoulder. Satoshi gritted his teeth and lashed out at Diana with his shining

Ascended Calibur. She rolled behind him and kicked him in the middle of his combo.

Aria shot two more Peacemaker bullets at Dwayne and fired Valiance bullets in the

darkness hoping to make things easier for the team with all the random bullets firing

everywhere. That Jonathan guy is a good shot, it takes a true knight to shoot like that…

and it takes a true knight to dodge that other true knight’s bullets…

Morgana saw a chance, Ice was occupied running at where Frostrex reappeared,

she charged up her Callahan and shot it at Ice. The recoil made her collide into

Jonathan, he was covered in the blanked of darkness, then, well, he wasn’t so covered

in the blanket of darkness. Aria then saw that she had been shooting in the wrong

place, and then Jonathan appeared on her left. He got scared and ran towards the

elevator and jumped down it. One down Six to go! Aria was in a good

mood, until she heard that bloodcurdling scream.

“EAAAAAHGH!” Ice yelled. He felt a sharp, huge pain in his back. It hurt so

badly; he felt like he was going to throw up. “DAMN! EAGH!” Ice was surprised that he

didn’t fall unconscious, and then he did. “Oh, God!” said Blue. She cursed under her

breath as she rushed over to where Ice was, she whacked Frostrex upside the head

with her Wrench Wand, and he slumped to the ground, unconscious. “Ice? Ice! Stay

with me!” said Blue checking his pulse, it was beating, slowly, but beating.

~Play The Nightmare Begins~

Ice woke up with a start, he saw behind him, Morgana, with her Callahan,

who had just shot him. Enraged, he charged up IceKlaw and unleashed it at her,

but, he didn’t have IceKlaw in its hilt. In fact, he didn’t have any weapons at all and

Morgana didn’t seem to notice him at all. Nobody did. Then he saw Blue tending to Ice.

What? But, I’m right here!” Then, everything shifted; he was standing in the

throne room of Darkfire Vanaduke. Ice yelled in fury, remembering what had happened

that fateful day. He felt for IceKlaw, but remembered he didn’t have anything accept for

the fur of his Skolver Coat, since he was in a fiery citadel; he took his Skolver Cap off

and set it in the pocket of his Skolver Coat. Before him, he saw the events of that day in

the citadel.

Vanaduke was on his last phase and he saw the Carnavon skull on the ground,

probably the same one that Fire tripped on. He tried moving it, but his hand went right

through it. Then, he looked to his right, and saw Fire coming. “No, NO! Watch out! Fire!

Look out! Dude, watch it! NO! NO! NO!” Ice yelled at Fire.

Fire apparently could not hear him, just as that same day, Fire tripped over

the skull. Vanaduke, seeing the weakness of Fire, summoned Cursed Dreadnaughts,

and slammed down with his mace, while Ice watched with dismay. Again, this wasn’t

enough to kill Fire, but a Dreadnaught ran over and impaled Fire with his spear. Fire

again dangled lifelessly on the spear and the Dreadnaught threw Fire at a wall, and

there he slammed against the wall and didn’t get up.

Ice watched himself maul Vanaduke until he was dead and disintegrated into

the floor. Then Ice, both of them, rushed over to Fire. The real Ice wanted to see Fire

again; the other Ice was following what happened that day. No, no, no, stay with

me man! … Don’t go don’t go! … Fire? Fire, speak to me!... more disastrous than that

Wolver Den, eh?

Ice watched Fire’s death all over again, it was a devastating blow, seeing his best

friend die all over again. Again, everything shifted. Fire was there, and he was flying,

he had the full Vog Set, a Crest of Almire on his back, a Fang of Vog strapped to his

belt, and the most stunning feature of all was his wings. His wings were like a Valkyrie,

except they were volcanic and they were cracking with fire, it complemented his whole

outfit. Fire swooped down and landed majestically in front of Ice.

“F-Fire? I-Is that really you?” asked Ice. “Yes, it is, Ice, I have to say, you’re

looking better last time I saw you, you were dressed up in Snarbolax gear,” commented

Fire. Ice looked embarrassed; “Yeah, well, you’re the one who died…” said Ice with

a grin, “In fact, how are you even here? And where the hell am I? Am I IN hell?” Fire

chuckled, “You’re dreaming, that’s why you’ve been switching locations, you saw who

shot you, you saw my death all over again, and now you’re talking to me. Now listen,

I need to tell you something important, no interrupting me, your mortal self is going

to become conscious again, so listen to me,” said Fire. Ice nodded, “There is a great

evil coming forth, you will have to travel great lengths into Cradle, you will meet many

people, friends and foes, and you will be tested many times over,” said Fire, “You’ll

need to be strong, don’t give into the evil that is coming, be careful though, the evil

may not be what you think it will be,” Ice looked at his old friend, tears welled up in his

eyes, “I’ll do my best,” promised Ice. “Good, you are waking now, that Blue girl is a good

medic,” Fire said chuckling. Ice’s dream was fading, and he could barely make out Fire

waving to him.

Ice woke up feeling groggy; he was on his stomach with bandaged

wrapped around his body. He looked behind himself and saw Blue tending to his

wounds. “What’s the situation?” asked Ice. Blue, all of a sudden, started fumbling with

her bandages, “Oh, you scared me,” she said. Ice smiled, “Well, anything new happen

while I was gone?” he asked. Blue nodded, “Julius took care of Arena, Ryder’s done,

and Morgana is on the verge, Aria’s giving her a tough time,” she said smiling, “But we

have casualties on our side too, Satoshi was doing good with Diana until she finally got

him, he fell hard. Julius tried to avenge him, but that ended the same way. The most

recent to fall was Grittle.” “Good, am I set to go?” asked Ice. Blue’s smile faded, “No,

no, not by a long shot, Morgana hit you hard, you were lucky you were wearing piercing

defense armour, it fractured your spine,” she said. Ice frowned, openly conveying

his exasperation, “But, I have to, at least let me shoot while you fix me up!” objected

Ice. “Fine, just don’t push yourself,” she said reluctantly.

~Play Fight On!~

Blue lead Ice to a spot where they were covered in darkness; and Ice began

shooting with his Shadow Driver. Wanting revenge, he shot Morgana in the leg. She fell

to her knees and held the wound. Ice charged the Shadow Driver, “Divine Avengers,

DUCK!” yelled Ice. All the Divine Avengers ducked except Trevor who was a bit woozy

after smelling the leaves, he tried, but was one second too late, but Diana and Frostrex

were smarter than that, the main bullet hit Morgana, as she slumped to the ground,

Dwayne and Kamron got mauled by other bullets. Kamron waved his Wrench Wand

at Dwayne to heal him, but he was weak, he healed him, but it drained the rest of his

energy and he fell to the ground. Dwayne stood up weak, “This... isn’t… over yet, it’s

three against four… but you have your healer and a wounded… so… technically it’s

three against two… in our favor,” as Dwayne said the last three words he grinned

evilly, “Now… you die!”

~Play JENOVA~

Vot and Aria held their swords tight and waited for the first strike. Frostrex

disappeared and reappeared behind Vot in a blizzard of ice. Vot back flipped and thrust

his sword for a jab at Frostrex; Frostrex turned around in a flash and blocked it away

from him. It was Frostrex’s turn to be offensive, he slashed at Vot again and again,

while Vot blocked, but Vot was tired, he had already been fighting the slimes and now

Dwayne’s squad. Vot was on the verge of passing out, he struck Frostrex in the leg,

but not before Frostrex had knocked him upside the head with his sword. They both fell

down, Vot was unconscious; Frostrex was just wounded.

Diana slashed her Gran Faust at Aria; Aria shot it as it was coming toward her,

they repeated this process until Aria took out her Hunting Blade and started to slash

furiously. At this time, Aria didn’t know that Frostrex was right behind her, he took out

his icy dagger, then *CLANG!* Ice shot the dagger out of Frostrex’s hand.

“ENOUGH!” Dwayne yelled he took the Ascended Calibur from Kamron and

attacked at Aria, and she was caught off guard, she slumped to the floor, unconscious.

Dwayne turned to Ice and Blue, he ran over to them charging the Calibur as he went.

Ice tried to shoot him, but he kept missing. Then, *CLANG* a shadowy figure knocked

the Calibur out of Dwayne’s hand with another blade.

~Play The Shinra Corporation~

“What the hell was that?” asked Dwayne, he had had enough with these guys!

Then he saw the knight, full Skolver, with a Cold Iron Vanquisher on his back, clipped to

his belt was a Divine Avenger, and in his hand was a Wild Hunting Blade. He had Divine

Valkyrie Wings on his back. “Who the hell are you?” asked Dwayne enraged. “Mai name

is, Su-shi…” the Skolver knight said. Then Sushi dashed at Dwayne and slashed at him

across the chest with the Wild Hunting Blade, and Dwayne slumped to the floor in the

most lifeless fashion.

~Play Violator~

Startled Frostrex and Diana charged at Sushi. Diana slashed at him, then Sushi

ducked, as the Gran Faust slashed over his head, he hooked it with his Wild Hunting

Blade, and then he heaved with all of his might, he knocked the Gran Faust out of

Diana’s hand. As the Gran Faust skittered across the floor and it fell into the elevator

shaft.

Frostrex decided to try and take Sushi out himself he snuck behind Sushi while

he was fighting Diana and took out his knife and jabbed, Sushi sensed this though, he

turned around and elbowed Frostrex on the head, and he staggered until he backed up

and hit his head on the wall.

Enraged that she lost her favorite weapon, Diana took out her Polaris and started

shooting at Sushi thinking it would be a good idea for her to push him away and blur

his eyesight. Sushi had other plans though, he put his hand on his Divine Avenger and

slashed upward at Diana, she shot a bullet at it and it barely missed her, he put the

Wild Hunting Blade on his belt and continued to slash at Diana with his Divine Avenger.

Frostrex, waking up, decided to go help Diana, he took out his ice sword and said, “Die,

Sushi, BlizzardHale and I will kill you!” Sushi turned around just in time to duck, Frostrex

had just thrust his blade toward Sushi; he slashed his Divine Avenger upward as

BlizzardHale went over his head.

Just as Diana was, Frostrex was enraged that he lost his favorite weapon;

BlizzardHale was on Aria’s past vantage point. Not thinking clearly and his mind

clouded with dark thoughts about Sushi, he took all his chance on one deadly throw

with his ice knife. Whizzzzz, the knife went past Sushi’s head and left him

unscathed. The knife did manage to rip part of his Skolver Cap, before plummeting

down the elevator shaft.

Sushi, slashed at Frostrex, making a hit, and swung around for the finisher, but

before he could finish it, Diana dropped her shield, and jumped in front of the blade. She

flew sideways and landed with her limbs sprawled like ragdoll. Frostrex amazed that

Diana just saved his life didn’t know that Sushi was about to kick him, when it landed,

it knocked the wind out of him, and he slid against the wall. Sushi walked up to him

and hit him on the head with the hilt of his Cold Iron Vanquisher; the last Sushi saw of

Frostrex, in the terminal was blood, dripping down his face.

Sushi strode over to Ice and Blue who were dumbfounded at the battle before

them, “You are wel-come, I always try and help knights in need,” said Sushi with his voice cracking as he said it with struggle. Before Ice could

thank him properly, he ran, and jumped down the elevator shaft.

~Play For the Reunion~

After a couple of hours, Blue managed to repair Ice’s back fully. She nursed

the others back to health. Ice managed to get all of them assembled and said, “I have

changed my mind! Instead of going to avenge Fire, we will go into the heart of the Royal

Jelly Palace and defeat the Ice Queen, this threat is something we cannot ignore!” The

other’s cheered and then Grittle pointed out, “But what about our force? I am not full five

star! This is something we cannot ignore!” Ice thought for a moment and then said, “I

will give you all my Crystal Energy to upgrade your items, if you have the recipes.”

~Play Hurry!~

Grittle was the one who pointed this out, so he got to go first, he pressed the

ascend button and after waiting about half an hour, he got up to Haven’s arcade. He

upgraded his Pepperbox first, it was not a Fiery Pepperbox, he held it with pride, but

now was not the time to bask in the glory of it. He using some left over heat reserves,

he upgraded the Fiery Pepperbox to level 10, and he jammed it in the Alchemy

Machine. Then, out came the Volcanic Pepperbox, and he clipped it to his belt. Next

he put in his Miracle Cloak, which came out as a Divine Mantle. Grittle was about to

upgrade his Rock Jelly Helm when he remembered there was a Sanctuary that had a

recipe that required a Rock Jelly Helm, so he kept it, and went back down the elevator

to meet back up with the team.

Blue saw Grittle descending, “Blue your turn go up! Hurry, I see activity down

at the bottom, their repairing the elevator, with reinforced steel!” ordered Ice. Blue ran

to the elevator as fast as she could and pressed the ascend button. Ice quickly came

out of her view. When she got to Haven’s Arcade, she rushed to the alchemy machine,

and upgraded her Seraphic Helm to a Valkyrie Helm and the same to her Seraphic

Mail. Dressed up with a Valkyrie set she twirled around feeling pretty. Just then a voice

crackled in her com, “Blue? *ZZT* taking you *ZZT* long?”

asked a voice that sounded like Ice. Blue pressed the talk button, “Yeah, almost done,

just one more thing!” she told him feeling a little embarrassed. “Well, hurry! The jellies

*ZZT* the elevator repaired!” Blue put in the Heavy Plate Shield into the

alchemy machine along with the correct materials. The alchemy machine sparked to life

and popped out the Volcanic Plate Shield. She slung it on her back and headed for the

elevator.

Back down at Depth 23 Ice was pacing back and forth, Where was Blue?

Why is it taking her so long? Ice thought. No need to worry, I’m probably

just imagining things! Just probably antsy, the jellies are coming up with reinforced

steel elevators! Ice squeezed his eyes shut in exasperation and rubbed his

temples. “Ice you may want to see this!” said Aria a little frightened.

“Come on, you stupid elevator! WORK! WORK!” yelled Blue. She kicked

the “Join Squad Leader” button and she fell to the floor, as it started its descent to

Depth 23. “19… 20…21…22…” said Blue counting the depths. “Aha! I made it!” she

said. Blue walked over to where the Divine Avenger were standing and gasped in

horror.

“Oh… God…” said Ice. The Ice Queen herself was down there attempting to take

them on herself! “S-S-Saatoshi, you better go, and FAST too…” Ice said a little lost for

words. “Ok, I-I’m on it,” Satoshi replied as he ran over to the elevator. “Well at least it’s

not Darkfire Vanaduke,” said Ice hoping to lighten the moment. The rest of the squad

laughed nervously.

Satoshi pressed “Ascend” on the elevator and went up, Why is this taking

so long??? Satoshi thought, Probably just anxious.<,em> Finally, Satoshi

arrived at Haven’s Arcade, he rushed over to the alchemy machine and put in his

Mighty Defender and out came an Aeigis, he looked at it and smiled. Next he put in

his Ascended Calibur, which Satoshi has been waiting to upgrade for a long time, his

dream sword, when the Leviathan Blade came out he held it up in the air victoriously.

Then, he put in his cobalt gear, which came out as a shiny Azure Guardian set! Satoshi

looked at himself in the mirror feeling powerful, then he remembered the Ice Queen and

rushed back to the elevator and the whole way down he was pacing back and forth.

“Satoshi you made it! Come on, we got some jellies to roast!” said Ice. They

all grabbed hold of the long pillars that would surround an elevator, if there was one.

Together they all inched down the elevator shaft, to face up to the Ice Queen and her

mighty army of frozen jellies.

I found out how to do the message linking thing, so I am doing that on the main post! I am not finished, cause I have to g to school XD

what do you mean by engaged? :3 Ah, well, I feel stupid, Oh and I jsut saw the thing up there, Iron, I don't think the "sisters" thing would work out consider ing Jonathan is Sacred's father, so I took the liberty as making Sacred as Angelic's cousin. So yeah... I AM DONE WITH THIS INCREDIBLY AWKWARD POST NOW...

Chapter VIII- Angelic-Tear’s Charge

~One Week Earlier

“Angelic-Tear!” Angelic walked up to the podium where Lieutenant Feron was

standing. “You have gone through this school and excelled, for this you have earned

your Hunting Academy Diploma!” Feron handed Angelic-Tear her diploma and she

held it in the air proudly, in the audience she saw her cousin Sacred-Tear giving her a

standing ovation, which was quickly stopped from angry spectators behind her. Angelic

walked off the stage to where her fellow graduates stood.

They congratulated her and went back to watching the ceremony. Once all was

done, Feron beckoned the group of graduates back onto the stage. “May I present to

you, the Hunting Academy graduates of 1021!” Cheers and hats flew around in the

graduation party while Angelic-Tear walked over to Sacred and embraced her.

~Present Day

Angelic heard the buzz of her com-unit and pressed her fingers to it, “Yes?” She

replied as a high-pitched voice spoke through, “Guess what? Feron-“ the speaker,

Sacred-Tear, paused for a moment catching herself, “Ahem, excuse me, Lieutenant

Feron has asked to see both of us for a special assignment! Even though I am more

experienced than you, Feron has asked that you lead the assignment.” Angelic-Tear

was stunned; Lieutenant Feron is asking for her, a lowly graduate of the Hunting

Academy who got her diploma less than a week ago?

Tear’s com buzzed again, “You there cousin?” asked Sacred. For the first time

she spoke in a soft voice, “Yeah, I’ll be over in a second.”

Sacred-Tear’s hand left her com, “So Feron, tell me again why Angelic is leading

this and not me?” asked Sacred, twirling her Divine Flower on her Valkyrie Helm. Feron

replied in a wise, low voice, “Because your cousin has potential, I haven’t seen

somebody take as much interest in the Hunting Academy as her,” Sacred looked

bewildered, “But I graduated before her and I have more experience!” Feron was

undeterred, “She passed her final exam with flying colors. You however, barely passed.

So, she’s smarter than you and she knows what to do strategically,” said Feron. “But-“

started Sacred, but Feron put up his hand signaling he would have no more of it.

Sacred stamped her foot in frustration and her Divine Wings on her Valkyrie Mail

fluttered, but then looked at Lieutenant Feron, “You know what? You’re right, I should

be happy for my cousin! She’s leading this little assignment,” said Sacred. “But, what

exactly is our assignment?” “That,” said Feron,” Will be revealed in time…” “I’m here!

What did I miss?” asked Angelic-Tear as she busted through the door. She was

dressed in her normal Snarbolax Coat with a Crown of the Fallen on her head. Her Final

Flourish, Divine Avenger, Scissor Blade, and Acheron all clanged together suspended

from her belt while her Barbourus Thorn Shield raced with dark energy.

Feron looked at the door hanging on its broken hinges and frowned. “Well, first, I

would like you to get Mr. Wallace and get him to fix this up,” said Feron gesturing to the

broken door, “But after I brief you.”

“Since you both recently just graduated from the Hunting Academy, I need you

two to hunt down this hired hand. He’s an assassin among other things, his name is

Cross,” said Feron. He stood up and went to a file organizer, “A, B, C… aha! Cross,”

he said. “I’ll read you here what it says, ‘Originally part of a 4-man squad called "The

Horsemen", Cross went by the alias "Death". Along with his allies "War", "Pestilence"

and "Famine", they plundered and pillaged the Clockworks for vast amounts of loot.

Once they found out about "Project R", they sought to steal weapon blueprints for their

own purposes. War, however, was using the Horsemen to obtain weaponry to rule

the Clockworks and sow the seeds of chaos throughout Cradle. He killed Pestilence,

who was growing suspicious, but a pre-recorded message sent by Pestilence to Death

informed him of War's treachery. Death hunted down and killed War in cold blood,

but not without losing another one of his squadmates, Famine. Since then, he became

a soldier of fortune, hired gun, you name it, doing jobs from "improvised demolition"

to “assassination.” ’

“So, why are we hunting this guy down? Seems like he’s a good guy, in a way,”

questioned Tear. “Yes, but his actions have resulted in too many casualties, despite his

motives, he must be brought down,” responded Feron. Sacred picked up her Blackhawk,

leaving her Blitz Needle and Nova Driver in her leg holsters and said, “Alright we got

this let’s go!” Tear nodded and raced after Sacred.

“Ok, so now what?” asked Angelic once they were at Sacred’s house. “Don’t ask

me!” responded Sacred. “Although, I think we should tell Celia what we’re about to get

ourselves into.” The cousin’s walked upstairs to where Celia was residing, “Hey, Mom,

Lieutenant Feron gave us a new assignment today,” said Sacred-Tear. “Oh really?

What is it?” asked Celia sitting up. “We have to hunt down this rouge named Cross,”

said Tear. “Ok, well… be careful out there, bad monsters roam wild out there, ones you

may not have seen before,” warned Celia. “Don’t worry Mom, we’ll be careful,” said

Sacred as she and angelic gave Celia a hug and started for the elevators. Once they

were there, they pushed the descend button and went down to hunt for Cross.
