I like how you're putting words in my mouth. Me falling to you DOZENS of times is pretty ridiculous, considering I'm usually not in games with you, and when we do fight, it's usually pretty even.

This is exactly why this feature is still in the game.

New players would get too easily frustrated without being able to hit anything, and there wouldn't be as many lockdown players.

I wouldn't whine and cry if AA was taken away, I'd still play because I can do fine without it.

Summary: Do whatever you want with AA, just don't complain about things that you lose to. If you're really so great, learn to kill the autoaimers.

But in all seriousness, I don't really care about AA. What I care about are heart trinkets.

Sure, autoaim can be really, really annoying if you're on the business side of the sword of a guy using AA. But what really ticks me off are heart trinkets. Nowadays, the team that has the most toothpick-wolver-line-heart-trinket using strikers has a 99% chance of default win. Unless they're all unskilled noobs with powerful stuff...

If they removed heart trinkets from LD, those kind of guys would still dominate, but everyone else would have a much better chance of winning.

Incorrect. All that means is that you refuse to support a game (that I assume) you enjoy while others are willing to. I seriously do not get the downright disdain that F2P players have against P2P players in this game. Without the P2P players none of the F2P players would have anything higher then 2* gear (token rewards aside) and oh yea... there would be no game without P2P players supporting the game.

Never thought I'd find someone who whines more about Auto-target than me xD (+ Feller), and yes I would like to see him VS another good player, but all those other players Zade named off are kinda UV OP...but then again Fellers pretty good and unlike Chris, Exile, Sciasz etc...he actually has skill, not that ASI max and autoaim arn't skill, but when I fight people like Feller the fights are more...well more, we both miss and EARN our hits and fights can last from 20 seconds to a whole MINUTE!. call us whiners but we know "SKILL" from "UV's/Autoaim" which some people don't like it's not REAL SKILL.

remove armor, and make everyone fight in proto gear:)

I've never used auto-aim in LD so I can't give any personal examples but
it doesn't seem like it helps that much; maybe on the 3rd flourish swing?
I don't really know and I don't really care. All I know is I enjoy LD and if you're
going to let something like auto-aim diminish your joy from the game, maybe
you should find something else to play.

Not only do you come across as a stuck up jerk who can't play a game without acting like his life is on the line, but you actually have the nerve to pull in a lot of unnecessarily unrelated crud that has nothing to do with the topic at hand. I'm gonna jump on post #110.

Gwenyvier addressed this so much better than I could ever hope to. To add whatever nonsense I can, there is no pride in being FtP. "Oh hey! I worked for my stuff!" Well, so did we, just in real life instead of online.

Good for you. The only thing you're missing out on is a few pixels of reach that auto-aim gives you by pointing you directly at your target. In reality, so long as you have a wide-arc attack from weapons like Flourish and Sealed Sword, that increased range really shouldn't make too much of a difference as you would usually get right up in their faces anyway. Only if you're using something such as a Calibur or Brandish that attacks straight in front of you, auto-aim barely makes any difference at all.

There are also arguments that heavily support auto-aim, such as post #95 by Zaderules. Let's see you play like that and still get your oh-so-famous 30K damage count.

Be this true or not, how you can take so much pride in a casual game makes me almost pity you. Not because you're good, but because you feel the need to express this to the point of ragging on others. You want something to be proud of? Go and become the best in a proper competitive game, assuming you can.

I'm impressed how you pull out names out of nowhere and immediately accuse them for using auto-aim. Just because Feller comes out to rant about it do you try to back him up. Possibly because you may also happen to be friends. Fools seek out their own minds after all. For all you know, they could just be great at aiming, and even if they were to use auto-aim, the angle was probably accurate enough that it would hit anyway considering the arc of the flourishes and sealed swords, which are so common I will go ahead and assume that is their weapon of choice and be equally stupid as you just because I don't have anything better to do with my time and mind. If these guys didn't have skill, they wouldn't be as recognized as they are, and auto-aim plays but a minor role in the play.

Another thing I want to address, is that UVs are apparently the work of the devil, and god forbid anybody has the nerve to put an attack speed increase on that flourish. Whilst it is certainly a utility for those with wealth, it still is but another minor buff to back up the abilities of the wielder. You can give the best gear to a newbie, and they will still be a newbie. You can give the best gear to a professional, and they will make use of their tools to their full potential.

Anyways, I've trolled this topic a couple of times, but I don't get why you complain "if you are a pro and win every time" anyways.

I've seen some of the guys on this thread around Lockdown, not gonna put down names. However, those who claim to be pros, just don't play the game right USUALLY (just so I don't get hate). I usually see the scoreboard, someone gets 17,000 damage, then complains they should've gotten more. They were using the generic Skolver+FF+Striker combo. I checked caps, only one.

So, my general opinion is that good players should win regardless of Auto-Aim. It's something to be utilized, if you decide to use/keep it. Damage on a scoreboard means nothing in my opinion. I don't play Lockdown extensively, but usually I can get around 7 caps in a round. However, that means my damage is about 4,000-6,000 for that reason. My teammates call me a "noob" that can't do much damage. I don't care honestly. The term "noob" is just a jerk term in my opinion, but that's a whole different topic.

Also, don't call me "son." I'm probably older than you are. And I have no interest in learning anything from someone who can't understand that auto-aim has almost no effect on actual competitive Lockdown play. Play a bunch of GvG against the big-name guilds, and then come talk to me.

Try to do that without Auto-target, I've seeing you spamming like a noob. I can't feel respect for an aimboter, you're not at my lvl so gtfo kiddo.

Get your guild to do GVG, screenshot/record it. It's easy to kill players who has ping/framerate problems in random. Post it and brag more.I'm not claiming that you are wrong to say you are the best. If you do well it might satisfy your ego more. I hear egos need more feeding like bravado and narcissistic nutrients. I reiterate, you win in life because you are so pro in LD.

Edit: Just saw your screenie, i know you speak spanish or maybe portuguese mainly so my bad.

Use AA/not using AA is like using the scope on a sniper, or maybe the cheap laser on the sniper :P

Most people, like me, prefer to use their own skill and aim guns true to instinct, MAYBE checking the scope once or twice. Others like to aim through to scope and pew pew pew at everyone else :).

Today in LD(Which i VERY rarely play), i put on full skolver, my BTB, AA, and striker. I failed, big time.

W/o the skolver, using the btb still, and switching between AA and reg, i was able to get about 3k more dmg each time.

AA, therefore, is a FRACKIN PREFERENCE, AS SOME PEOPLE HAVE SAID!!!!

Using autoaim does not make you a noob, It just makes some of your swings point in the general direction of the enemy.

I usually go in as a recon, and people swinging their FF with AA on poses no real threat to me, i can usually finish them off :)

AA is FINE in LD! Complaining about how others use AA is like complaining that the U.S. brings fighter jets/stealth bombers, etc, to their land battles. Nobody except the loser cares, and usually the loser rants on about how the other side cheated.

In other words, Deal with it. :P
