I'm afraid we detected significantly more stray snipes in the gears than expected, which means that there will be up to 2 hours of additional downtime from now. Once again, our sincere apologies for the delay. We'll make up for that with reduced elevator costs once we're back
So in other words, EU and UK players are expected to either stay up past midnight to try the new content today, or log on tommorow and miss the reduced elevator costs. Reminds me of the Parrying Blade promotion.

Not only you screw up quite not significant update, but also you discriminate players from other countries with 'reduced elevator cost' that will appear only on short period of time.
Instead of reduced elevator cost we should get something like a 4 hours elvator pass that will be acquired from ingame mail and activated when we log in to game first time after you bring servers back up, instead of reduced elvator cost promo that will benefit only players from certain locations.

I kinda agree with what
I kinda agree with what Asukalan is (angrily) suggesting. A friend of mine was waiting past midnight for the expected time of the update, but it still has yet to come, meaning he'll have to wait for tomorrow.
If there's a reduced elevator cost, it should be turned into something similar to the Elevator Pass, in that it reduces the fee by half for a set amount of time. That way, anyone who is in dire need of sleep and still waiting for the update can benefit from it.
Doesn't seem fair to my friend to eagerly wait 'til midnight to try out an update that was delayed far longer than he could stay up.
