Hey 3Rings.
Okay, question.......WHY the hell am I unable to do tier 3 runs in the Arcade? Is this intentional or what? A few days ago I was able to do them even though I had 4star gear, and now they're blocked? The hell is going on, 3Rings? Are you deliberately trying to screw the community even more?

I'm just so sick and tired on how things are difficult with this game. Wanna level up to 5star? 800Ce to spend on every single item. Wanna go further in the missions? You need 5star gear "or greater". Need Ce? Farm crowns and pay up the ever-increasing Ce price. And to add to that: Wanna do tier Tier 3 Arcade runs? You need 5star gear.
If that's the case, why was I allowed access to Emberlight? I'm just so sick of this, with every new patch, they introduce new things that are either overly priced or that completely screw the rest of the content in the game.
So yeah, I have "issues".
Spiral Knights is a good game, but the way things are done isn't.

I quite like the excess lag.
Due to my experience in fighting in massive lag, I kept winning Blast Network last night (Until the screen froze during rockets).
OOO has proven time and time again that they try to fix whatever they mess up so I will be patient and hopefully be able to log in with steam eventually.

I'm must concur with Bladderrust, who I'm guessing is a seasoned Oceanian. I have to say, it's an amusing perk. I've only been around the SK servers for a few weeks now, but long enough to learn to move with the lag (and to be consistently amazed at the things people will (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻ over).
I just dropped by to see what news there was on the rescue work, and to offer both my commiserations and congratulations. I may have seen the CE prices consistently rise to break 8k and had the honour of joining the Red-Bar Brigade, but honestly feel Spiral Knights is a fine figure of a game that OOO should be proud of. And the patches? They fix bugs and make minor changes. And there's always one that borks the game. Step away from the server and calm the flock down, my woolly-brained friends.
We all hope the issues will get resolved. As the most technically advanced work I've done is attempt to grapple with the markup language of the SK wiki, I defer to the long-suffering devs in their arcane acts of technomancy* and wish upon them the blessings of their gelatinous, moustachioed, pipe-smoking gods (as a side note, I've never personally trusted Java; it always looked at me with shifty eyes and wayward code).
But as a newly-minted member of the SK community, here, have some obligatory table-flipping:

Gosh, stop biting OOO. They didn't mean too. It is hard to test all these things. Imagine making a game. The pattern might be like this:
Code for 5 hours
Try to test, just to find it doesn't run
Code for 3 hours
Test < 1 min, and find an extreme glitch
Code for 3 hours
Test for about 3 min, and find some unpolished things
Code for 2 hours
Test for < 15 min, and don't find anything wrong
These hic ups only occur if you play for over 30 minutes or so. Don't be harsh for a mistake that might be easy to make on code level.

The lag is a known issue and the developers believe they found the cause of the problem. They are double checking their information from the testing server work last night and hope to have it fixed as soon as possible.
