I like the guild update, plus the sword and shield you get look super cool, but why just a sword? I like bombing personally and my other account I mainly gun.

Well, I'm a bit disappointed about that because they first said it's going to be monthly and that can be quite expensive. Paying something like 87,5k crowns per week does cost a fortune after some time.

I'm an officer in my guild, and for some reason, there's no option to access guild storage from the command console. does access have to be manualy chenged by a gm, or is there something wrong here?

WHOA, so expensive, cant you reduce some items by 25-50%?

I really enjoy the update and think everything thing looks great. My only wish is that you make it so that the honor gear is upgradable when we rank up. I think the gear is beautiful and I was really hoping to upgrade my 4* honor gear to 5*. Other than that the update looks amazing :)

What happens if we can't pay the upkeep?

When I am in the Haven Garrison where the Guildhall, Arcade, and Hall of Heroes is I proceed and try to enter the Guild Hall. But when I go through the instance my game crashes and when I try to reopen Spiral Knights it says cannot open Application is already running. The only way to open Spiral Knights again is to log out of my Computer and log back in. I try and enter it again and it crashes. Look into this please. Great update it added so much I hope we can get Allies later on. Like we can form and alliance with another guild and do stuff such as when we send messages they also receive the messages and vice-versa. Thx =D

for the wall cases/shelves, can OOO's put the 'menu' animation in? that way it looks like you're grabbing a book off the shelf and reading it :D

Do you get the honour gear as soon as you log in? It looks like the download has finally decided to work, although I won't jinx that...

Can you unbind them and sell them?
I know that the battle chest things are unbound

It would be nice if all Guild Members could view the contents of the Birdsong Emporium, even if they cannot purchase from it.

Also, when I went to enter the guild hall from the garrison my game closed o:

It did the same thing for me! The screen froze as I was attempting to enter Guild Hall and go look for other guilds to view. However, I was able to access again after quitting SK and logging back on. It put me back in the same spot, and worked fine after that.

Few quick things to clear up:

Buying expansions to the Guild Halls gives you access to more rooms and purchase-able items, including an AH and a (GREAT BONUS) mist depositor (or so I've heard, and will be buying, along with all the other upgrades today).
Upkeep is 25k crowns, and stacks up with purchases of expansions of the GH.
Crowns in the treasury are NOT withdraw-able. They can only be used to purchase furniture and rooms.
CE value HAS dropped down to 8.4k crowns (currently) and is subject to change in the future. Always drops during major promos!

Estimated cost for a month: 100k crowns, or about 1200 ce.
Estimated cost for a year: 1.2 million crowns, or about 14450 ce.

I hope the SK crew lowers the price, or has monthly furnishings rather, of say, 75k crowns.

So, Nick, what happens if we get items and types of rooms that can only be bough from a fully expanded guild hall and then fail to pay upkeep. Can we keep them on the first floor if we just pay upkeep for the first floor?

We need a bit of ranking control on the Moto of the day please.

Maybe a one time price? 300k cr for the whole deal, or some such?

The prices of the Guild Hall upgrades are ridiculous. They make CE look dirt cheap by comparison! 12k CR just to get 2 empty rooms? And I have to pay an additional 12k CR every week, just to keep said empty rooms?

I was seriously excited about this update, but being the owner of a very small guild that consists of mostly new players atm, this is absurd. There's no way I could keep paying the upkeep and still have enough crowns left over to enjoy the game.

This would be much easier if I had a few high-profile (i.e., 4* - 5*) members who'd be willing to help pay for it. It was already hard enough to find any players like that who weren't already in a guild, but this new update will make it even harder.

I think the prices of the guild upgrades are pretty good when you think about it: it's the money of the ENTIRE guild, not just 1 person.

That 12k upkeep cost is a lot more palatable when it's divided by 8 people or more. You are only supposed to go for the HugeMcLarge guild only when your guild has grown enough for it. And while the price of some of the furniture can be a bit dodgy, they are also fair priced when all the guild chip in.

In fact, I think the cost will help smaller guilds stick together: 1 personal room for everyone with furniture and whatnot, just work for it. If you have a bunch of guild members that dont want to help out and just want the benefits (like the mist well), that's when you are in need to look for better guildmates.

Since the wiki is totally silent on this so far... could we post a list of the GH rooms and levels here along with their associated costs..

Would be nice to know just how deep this rabbit hole goes...
