Because you ran out of any logical arguments, you resort to replying with Youtube videos. Keep sinking yourself further in, you're doing a wonderful job.

Actually does sound like....a lot. Are you like a 7ft giant with steaks for pecs? o_o

Maybe I'm just lucky; I've never paid any attention to what I eat, and eat quite carelessly as far as healthy/junk food goes, yet have never weighed more than 10 stone in my life and am in decent shape o:

Don't diss chilli chocolate; it tastes way better than it sounds. The heat perfectly complements the creaminess and sweetness of the chocolate in the same way that salt does.

Also, the myth of Prometheus is that someone went and stole fire from the Greek gods before giving it to mankind, and was punished for his theft by being chained to a mountain at the end of eternity, where an eagle would claw out his liver once every day until the end of time/Hercules turning up.

decent shape? I scoff at decent shape. :p

But really, its all calories in vs. calories out. Take in more than you burn = gain weight. Burn more than you take in = lose weight. It shouldn't be hard for the average person to stay in decent shape, but sadly, the american culture is replete with terrible options and uneducated people. The average fastfood meal, or even set down in a mid-level restaurant meal, is generally over 1200 calories--this with the average diet suggested at 2000 calories per day. And yet, these serving sizes are not all that big: a burger and fries. And don't even get me started on Pop/Soda. I'd guess a large % drink over 1200 calories of soda per day. So one fastfood meal and soda puts them over daily maintenance calories. --in contrast, most of these people could not eat 1200 calories of chicken and vegetables in two settings!!!!! its all about food choices.

This doesn't include their other two meals, starbucks in the morning, and snacks throughout the day. Meanwhile, they live a completely sedentary lifestyle.

But yeah, you don't have to be all into fitness and nutrition to be healthy and in decent shape. I can't imagine a person having a worse diet, eating more junk food and low levels of protein (not too mention partying far too many nights a week) than i did in college. Yet, since i played ball all the time and lifted weights, i stayed in decent shape. I've just taken a turn to healthy eating and staying active post college. It makes me feel good, look good, and i thoroughly enjoy it all. Its really not necessary to be as strict as i am with it, but again, i do it because i enjoy it :D

--and don't even get me started on cheesecake factory....you can't order a meal there that doesn't put you over your daily calorie requirements. And thats without, ya know, cheesecake!!!!

Oh no, I meant that I was lucky. I don't care for sports and am an average, lazy student who doesn't exercise much and my studies are all computer based.

I mostly eat junk food and takeaways, especially when I get the munchies~

I guess some people are just allowed to not care :D

ALTHOUGH! I also don't live in america; our servings of food over here are a lot less junky, and even our "junk food" isn't as bad. I've been to america; I could hardly eat anythin' there~

http://calorielab.com/news/wp-images/post-images/cheesecake-factory-nutr...

Sample nutritional info on "specials" and the desert menu. More of them are over 1500 calories than under 1000. And you'll also notice the "accompaniments" section, so yes, every one of those Calorie laden meals come with another 100-575 calorie sides.

So lets say, for fun, you get chicken and biscuit with fries and a slice of linda's fudge cake for desert.
Of course because you are an american, and one who dines at the cheesecake factory, you'll need something to wash all this down with. So we will assume you order a large coca-cola--equivalent of two servings at 240 cals each.

(2260+574+1369+480)

Congratulations on dinner. 4683 calories. In one meal. Over double the recommended calorie count FOR TWO DAYS! And thats without any appetizers or alcoholic beverages. Both of which would greatly increase the calorie totals.

Okay, I admit I binge on mochi and all sorts of weird junk food as well as normal junk food, but I'm pretty sure I could never get that much calories down in one sitting. o.e Besides, what exactly is a 'chicken and biscuit' meant to look like?!

I believe americans' idea of

I believe americans' idea of a "biscuit" is something akin to a scone, and would therefore mean that the mean isn't actually biscuits sitting on bits of chicken. Mind you, I wouldn't exactly eat scones with chicken either, although they eat their biscuit-scone-things with hot food so maybe it's normal over there?

I know(?) this because the last time I was over there, I was offered biscuits and sausage (which sounded weird in it's own right) but I was doubly confused when I realised that neither of those words mean the same as they do over here. Such an odd place.

Huh.
The only place in America I've been to was Massachusetts; I didn't have the dubious honour of running into 'biscuits' at the time, since about 70% of the time I was living on cheap Thai or Italian takeaway.
Is 'sausage' along the lines of the more standard hot dog (ie reconstituted pork bits with rusk and so forth), or is there some different kind of meaning to it there?

How the heck is this thread still going on?

did he discussion stray away to American Encounters?

@Aury I got friends in the South (probably the most likely place to find home style, most delicous, and most unhealthy food around here)
went there and had this dish called "Biscuit and Gravy" https://encrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcR_47NQqq2pgfbm5yV4...
OMG the most memorable moment i had. Even though it looked like garbage, my mind was blown. You know its unhealthy yet you still want to eat it.
of course, I like in Jersey so i eat Colombian food most of the time so I guess Deep South is where all the junk is.

p.s. i also learned how to make biscuits. Flour, Sugar, Salt, Lard and another ingredient. forgot what but a Biscuit is wayyy better than a Scone.

Sausages over there are still pig, but they're...veyr different. Often smaller and seem to come in small circle shapes instead, while their links are big and fat and seem to have stuff inside them. Pretty weird stuff if you ask me.

@Vlad: We managed to pull an epic x4 Thread Derailing combo. Trust me, it's an improvement on the earlier pages of bawwing.
I usually make biscuits with margarine or butter rather than lard. The latter sounds... weird.

@Brady: Huh. So more like mini pepperoni slices then. :U I was hoping for German style sausage.
On another note, German steak sandwiches are epic. You don't get a pansy little slice the way you do in some supermarkets, you get the entire steak that takes up about 70% of the sandwich.

I am an American. I eat a bunch of crap food (and I live in the South, so that's saying quite a bit!), but not really a lot of Fast Food. Also, like Brady, I'm not really active.

But...

I am underweight and underfat. I am currently actually trying to gain weight. So yeah, there are people like me who are hated by everyone who has to watch what they eat.

Also, regarding sausage, I dunno what kind of weird stuff you guys had when you were here, but personally, this is what the stuff I eat for breakfast looks like. As you can see, far from "miniature pepperoni."

And y'all don't have biscuits and gravy up North? That settles it. I'm staying here the rest of my life with my wonderful Southern Cuisine.

And if you consider hot dogs and bratwurst sausage, then yes we do have plenty of different kinds, but to me those are hot dogs and bratwurst. Sausage is the stuff I eat with breakfast sometimes. Also, don't let the bumpiness fool you, they don't have a weird texture and they're really pretty good. yes

the small round ones are commonly used in fastfood sausage concoctions. They are terrible. For that matter, so is the fake eggs they use.

Biscuits and gravy, or Biscuits and sausage grave is most amazing. Not healthy, but worth splurging on. Next time i go back to visit family, i'll be calling my grandma and having her make this. :D OM NOM NOM. Really, if you've never tried it, you should.

@aureate
Thats the thing about american carryout (takeaway as you guys call it) or dine in restaurants. The meals have such amazingly high calorie counts, but that 4800 calorie meal + desert is not a ton of food. Volume-wise, it is an average sized meal for a man. Probably a take home box for part of it for a female. (granted, americans tend to eat larger portion sizes). Its just that american restaurants make such calorie dense meals. If you go out and order a steak, or a piece of chicken, which should be healthy, they drowned the darn thing in butter as they cook it. So its safe to say, you probably could eat all that without much difficulty.

Really, i think its in large part due to american capitalism and greed. So many food manufacturers forgo healthy in favor of profits. Its two-fold. #1, Lower quality products and unhealthy alternatives are cheaper when making this food, so cost is less and profits are more. #2, By combining simple carbohydrates, fats, and sugar you create a cocktail that is for all tense and purposes addictive. The combination of these elements together create a substance that floods the nervous system and causes the release of small amounts of dopamine. Its the same affect that causes addiction to other drugs [fyi, everything you eat is a drug. They all contain chemicals that affect your brain and body, just like narcotics]. Granted, its not as strong of an addiction or as crippling mentally, but the combinations of simple carbs, fats, and sugars together do affect the mind and body in such a way to cause cravings and a chemical dependency on it.

Not only that, but that combination does about the best job possible of shuttling the "energy stores" straight into fat storage, rather than being used up in the blood stream and feeding muscle tissue. The only way to make it more effective at going straight into storage as excess fat is to add alcohol to the equation. Which most are more than happy to do.

Finally, this is why, especially in america, its important to make conscious healthy food decisions. That example meal from the cheesecake factory is the equivalent of more than eating 10lbs of baked chicken in one setting :o. Or if you can't wrap your mind around that, its like eating 25-28 cans of tuna at once!!!!!

@UV: it's all a conspiracy! D<

@Brady: Disgusting fact of the day: the part of sausage that makes it hard to bite into, often referred to as the 'skin' or 'casing', is, in fact, meant to be made out of pig intestines. You can, however, get synthetic ones that aren't, which are often made of collagen (taken from bones and tendons) or cellulose which may be combined with wood pulp, although the latter needs peeling off before you eat the sausage. I think they used to do plastic casings as well at one point.

@Razor: How, exactly, are they handling the CE market? O.o

I know the story actually, far better than what you think you know. And like you're one to talk about overreacting, given how Tokinjen's warning got this reaction from you:

"How dare you talking with me like that? How dare you to telling me that I am "hateful and mean" when you unrespectfully saying: "shut your pie hole", "Just shut up already".
You don't understand nothing from my posts and made your wrong conclusions. How dare you to threaten me? Who the h are you? So you warned me? Don't make me laugh!

Look at you. You think that other players supports you with your "agression initiative"?
You just a coward who are hiding in big crowd of people, that is who you are.

Your post full of agression and you blame me that I am rude. That is at least supid.
Because of people like you I should defend myself, because I respect myself, and you are not."

I mean WO-HO-HOA! Like you didn't overreact there! Nope!
It's just like everyone's been trying whole-heartedly to reason with you, but you seem uncapable of that. From your first post...

"Yep, you can't upgrade this free "crap". Just forget about this.

All people who said that you shouldn't complain about "FREE" stuf just already have their's 5* free stuff.
So they don't want that someone else have them too because of their greediness."

Why do people find some organs inedible? To me, it's all just muscle tissue that taste different. I hope no spare organs get thrown away. Waste not, want not.

EDIT: Bah, I remember what they do with spare organs. It has to do something with feeding animals, can't place my tongue on what.
EDIT2: Or Mystery Meat.

Ikr? We already eat all the rest of the bits of them, why should their insides suddenly be disgusting?
