The thing is, I haven't prepared making it yet xD
And I said may (keyword), I didn't guarantee that all the stories in the queue will be picked next.

I'm quite excited to see what ideas you have for new stories! :) Hopefully we'll direct it to a more developed ending than before...or maybe even go back in time and correct the option we chose with Rise of the Legion?
I prefer not to exploit the "Rewind" bonus round. It's a very expensive thing to do ;)
For the next story... I'll talk about it later.
Edit: Much later ><
I'll wait in here... I'll look forward to your next story! I bet it will be awesome and fun!
Well, I've got good news and bad news.
Good news is: You can now redeem your points here! Of course, you can choose to wait and gather more points for better rewards. For those of you who wants your prize now: better do it quick! All points will be withheld when the next story starts, and you can only redeem your points once more after the story is done.
Now for the bad news: I've been unpredictably busy recently. By unpredictable, I mean very, very unpredictable. I'll be driven nuts anytime soon by my lecture classes (don't tell anyone!), let alone finishing up some chapters for a story. So all this means one thing: I have to take a break from writing and catch up with my current work. I'm sorry to disappoint anyone – really, I thank all of you so much for everything – but life is becoming too demanding right now. Perhaps after a month or so, I'll be back to start off the new story (and hopefully not miss the SK anniversary).
Don't worry though, I'll try to continue my planning during this period, and make some story options available for you to choose. All I can say is that for the next story, I'm going to dedicate it to the 2nd Anniversary of Spiral Knights (or is it the 3rd?). I believe it's the best way to wish a happy birthday to all of us here, ain't it? You can expect an update in a week or so, if I can make it.
I think I've blabbered enough for now, we shall meet again soon!
Adventure on, fellow knights!
By the way, here's the latest point scoreboard for your reference, and the prizes available. If you want to redeem something, all you have to do is to say A, B, C, etc. according to the list (those good ol' letters :3). Time to spend those shinies!
(P.S. So far, no one can claim prize B yet, how sad. Oh well, you can choose to wait, or test your luck on that unpredictable material roll, just like every time you get into the elevator...)

Hey Snowdusk, I saw my name on the list but I have now quit Sk....so it would be better if you remove me please.
PS: Despite the fact I have quitted, I still like to read these posts so keep them coming!
Removed your name from the list. We're certainly going to miss you, Dialgia.
Since you mentioned it, don't forget to check back more often for more upcoming adventures!
Bah, it's all just a matter of logic and creativity. If we hadn't jumped in there to die, then maybe even you would've netted quite a few points. Say, how about giving us an equal amount of bonus points if we finish a story? Maybe like an extra fifteen?
Thanks for pointing that out!
I think that can only apply if a story ends in a good (or at least satisfying) ending. I shall implement this in the future :)
Just to mention that I haven't forgotten about this post; I've been extra busy with all sorts of stuff right now, I don't even know where to start.
Again, I would really appreciate if you can bear with me here. Hope you'll have a great adventure in your own life!
Never stop believing.
I check every day to see if this is updated...good to know that you are still well. :)
Thank you so much; without the support from people like you, I have no idea how I would made it till this day.
Keep those eyes fixed on this thread, who knows if this gets an unexpected update on the most unlikely of times?
Great I've written 5 or 6 SK scripts for the heck of it, now I can put it to use
As before, I have an extremely good news and another bad news, and its pretty grave.
The really good news is, we got featured in The Arsenal Podcast! Thank you Tev for the special mention! Also, to everyone here, thanks you once again, without you I will not be in this current position. Hats off to you!
Oh, how can I forget the confetti? There you go! *rains confetti*
Now for the bad news... I'm apologise to say that the next SK Anniversary special episode will be cancelled, and most of my plans had gone to dust. My finals are approaching in 2 mere weeks, and I got myself in a messy tangle, to be honest. So, I have no choice but to delay the next episode update to the end of April, or the first week of May. I'm very sorry for the long wait, and I hope you can bear with my lengthy break from this thread.
Now, since Biscotti ruined my anniversary plan with her usual epic-fail habits (insert silent murmurs here), I'm starting to generate ideas from her second incident. Perhaps we can make a SK Anniversary special after all! Or more like a sequel to that, actually.
Thanks a lot for reading, we'll meet again soon! Hopefully :)
We should do Biscotti's story next, don't know what monstrosity she'll create this time!
but yeah, I'll be waiting for your return, good luck in real life in the mean time!
Im still waiting here, I'll still stay here too~
II Heroic instincts here i come to be awesome (and to save knights).......(maybe).
One more week left, and I'm freeeeeeeee!
Stay tuned, and get ready to pack up, 'cause we're walking the yellow brick road (soon)!
I'd like to join in and I vote for lost in time if we can still vote
Sure, a new adventurer is always welcomed!
Let me re-emphasise that the stories in the queued list does NOT have 100% chance to get another revote session. I may choose it again, or I might abandon it completely as I see fit.
For those of you who are wondering: I have not been idle while I was still busy, as part of my mind was set on this thread, planning ahead whenever I can. And also, since you've been waiting so patiently for the next story, I shall make an early update for the next vote.
You heard that right: We are getting the next story started, and we need you to vote for your next choice!
As stated, I'm going to do an anniversary special (although it's been a little too late for that – better late than never!), so I will make one special episode, and another possibly extra special episode; it will be something new you're gonna see throughout the forums, and I believe it's a great exposure for myself at the same time.
Here are the choices:
I. Another Favour
The known "Caketastrophe" is solved, but now that all the cakes are gone, the knights must find the quickest way to prepare another batch of pastries. Will the cake remain as a lie, ending the anniversary party with a bitter closing ceremony; or will you save the party from potential peril and top off the party with a sweet success?
(Features: This episode is based on the idea of what may happen after the Caketastrophe event. It is not known yet what character you will play as, but the possibilities are wide; ranging from a completely abstract character to a specific NPC in Haven.)
II. Termination
An A.I. of the Spiral HQ is on the loose, and not a single system is safe. Join in this cyber-adventure, and help the knights regain control of the digital disaster before it takes over all of Cradle. Are you up for the task?
(Features: It will be a 100% monologue-special episode; Google it if you're not sure what monologue is. You can expect a very different style of story-telling in this episode, and even a great breakthrough in our Treasure Vault forums. The storyline is still rather vague and not entirely planned out, so I will make changes when deemed necessary. Even if the major storyline is altered, the main idea of a monologue interpretation will still be the focus.)
[Vote for one and only one choice.]
For maximum exuberance and fun, spread the word out! Get more people to participate, and engage into the story deeper with your buddies!
If you are new, you are absolutely welcomed to hop in anytime, we'll be more than glad to have you here with us! For more info on how you can interact with our stories, head on the the main info post of the compendium you're currently in.
Adventure or fun? Hmm... I'm going with another favour.
Yes! The last one we did was gloomy and we should probably do a much more happier one!
The cake is a lie
mrehehehe
I'll vote for "Another favour".
Let's see if we can save the ceremony... To the kitchen mtes! We have cakes to bake!
Except with a twist, you play as a good Creep Cake!!! A Cuddly Cake!
I'd be most interested in seeing how Termination would go...when you mean monologue, will the story be written entirely from one character's perspective? Or is it more like characters will monologue and tell the story that way?
Monologues are fun - theater group has taught me that much! :) I'm intrigued to see how things will come of this next story.
Normally monologues are delivered from one character only, with a first-person narrative, and I'm doing it exactly that way. Multiple monologues may work out, but I'll keep it simple for now, and I'll also consider about it if the story requires that method.
I'm surprised you're in a theatre group! That would certainly be a good trait as a make-believe adventurer :)
Nice to meet other theatre peeps! (Although I've been out of it for a long time)
Oh jeez we're going to have a theatre opera here soon xD (kidding)
I don't know about operas, Snow...maybe a few ballads here and there, though. :3
I'm the one to always pick up a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure story in the bookstore, whether it be for a topic I like or a topic I've never heard of - those novels can be confusing to read, considering that I always have to bookmark where a certain page is so that I can explore every possible option in one reading. :)
Ha, the only thing I've done for musicals is light and sound design/tech. My acting and directing was pretty much restricted to non-musicals. And certainly no opera!
... I honestly never read a lot of Choose-Your-Own-Adventure-type stories when I was young. I had a Super Mario Bros themed one that I pretty much wore out reading over and over again, though (I was, like, 8). I remember that page 55 was the "impossible option" page you got when you messed up on one of the activities in the book. XD There was a picture of Princess Peach on the page with her hand out, and it said something like "Stop! That option is impossible! Go back to your last page and try again."
Voting ends in 5 days! The story will be worked on after that.
For those who voted, thank you for your participation!
For those who were once here and came back again, I owe you a gratitude, you deserve a cake later on.
For those who haven't voted yet, do so and you will get your cake as well as a welcome gift.
For those who were once here and haven't showed up yet, you can have your cake before I decide to close the gates :)
If possible, keep with your old account, but I won't object if you can't do so.
You could just pick that time travel story.
