Hmm. Coat itself would fetch a nice 9kce pretty easily. I would venture... 40kce for the coat? I'm going purely on the accs' value, I have no idea how it looks, so I really can't set a price for it. Snowfall is a nice aura to have, not sure about the divine parrying blade, but prism valks are nice on virtually anything XD
So yeah, I'd say 40-45kce, really depends on if you find a buyer
Shivermist CTR High. On the main page of this thread, it says 12kce from Worknplay but on another thread that LethalConcept owns, you said it was worth 8.5-9.5kce so I am quite confused of what the actual price of it is.
There is no actual price, only a price range. Both of those prices are comprehensible.

It's completely pointless to unbind regular non-UV 5* gear, because you can get it from the Supply Depot for 3.5k CE.

Crown of winter in Auction House got 2 million buyout within about 12 hours of being posted.
soo.... we can assume it MIGHT have went for even more if the buyout was higher.
I think the problem is the auction ended when the previous high bid was 500k crowns. I would like to think the prices are that high at the moment, but it's more likely that someone went berserk and bought out the Crown of Winter instead of a frenzy of bidders outbidding each other until b/o price.

that is a lot. but since i've been kicking around i think its the first crown of winter i've seen for sell. so even if its not world's most desirable crown, if you are a king in need of one than perhaps you have to pay whatever you have to pay to get one. --also, i'm pretty sure i saw a couple bumps between the 500kish and buyout.
I think I know a few people selling a crown of winter for less .__. I bet someone accidentally b/o, or someone was just really desperate :3

to be honest i think this thread has outlived its usefulness. with the exception of the random post be me or erew, this has turned from the unofficial "official" price check thread into the what does Apop think a thing is worth.
I'm not trying to imply that Aopophis isn't knowledgable, or that many of his price checks are not accurate (although i see some blatant under/over evaluations). I don't have the time or care atm to lend my own opinions on the matter.
With arch not around to update the first page and with the lack of old-player base or active merchants constantly contributing, with the culling of this thread down to nearly one voice (Apop) i really think this thread has outlived its usefulness; to the point of being more misleading than it is informative. I'd personally rather see Apop start his own "Apophis-Sets the record straight: an appraisal thread" and let this thread fade into obscurity--to be rekindled someday when more than one person wishes to contribute.
option #2: Apophis, if you have the energy to keep this thing going then i'd recommend you start a new thread "The unified Appraisal Thread" and copy and paste Arch's first couple of posts (with a footnote giving him credit) and cary on in a new thread---AGAIN REMOVING THE WORD OFFICIAL, since its devolved into almost you exclusively. The main point of that would be to allow you to edit pricing on the general list, sorta the premise of this thread initially.
--these are two separate ideas, in case anyone thinks "wait did he just say the same thing twice?" Idea 1, he just starts an appraisal thread advertising his own appraisals, making it obvious its one man's presumptions. Idea 2, this thread is kinda pointless if the first page isn't updated, or updatable, so copy pasta the pertinent first few posts, keep them up to date. Both idea share the common theme of removing the pretense that there is something approaching official-ness in this thread.
p.s. Apop, again, i'm not saying this in any sort of way to demean or deter you from offering your opinion. Its an altruistic effort on your part, and i applaud you. I just don't think there are enough voices and balances left here to leave it billed as official. No fault of your own, me, rating, arc, and others have all become too busy or too lazy to help out.
Yeah UV, I was actually thinking along those lines. I really am sorta tired of attempting to price check every item that is posted here. Also, my knowledge is limited; I can not possibly know every single price of every item. You're right, I really think this thread should sorta be put on hiatus until Arc returns from wherever he is, possibly even let this thread die. It was a nice run, and I think I'll... Retire, for lack of better words. I agree that without at least 3 or 4 merchants well versed in prices, a price check thread is more like an opinionated appraisal thread. I have done my best to be fair, but there has been times when my price evaluation has been way off. I think maybe I'd like to start a price appraisal thread, and I'll be sure not to throw around words like "official". I'm not trying to set prices for the entire SK community. My appraisals are my opinion, and this is an "Official" price checking thread :3 I like an idea of a unified price appraisal thread.

Just wanted to come on and make it clear where I stand. I have tonnes of mail asking me where I have gone, am I coming back, have I quit and so many price checks lol. I thought that posting my response to everyone here would have been better and save alot of crowns :)
Basically, I haven't quit....yet. But you all knew I was taking a long break to sort out other things. I'm also waiting for the pets update. So yeah. I do keep an eye on the forums and also noticed my thread bieng replaced. Well at least its good to see that someone has carried on the work I started.
I may just remove the list from the front page and leave this thread open to just price checking. I feel though the goal that I wanted to achieve has been completed, and this thread is a prime example of one of my goals to provide a service to help as many people as possible.
I appreciate all the help and support I got since this thread was made, the list of names is endless and the help I got was priceless so again thankyou so much.
If I get a fire max, I'll probably chuck it. I don't do much PvE anymore, and I never cared too much about fire. If I'm careful, and I don't lag, I shouldn't hit fire... Actually, I lag a lot .___. Might be a good idea to keep that...
