Holiday Scarves
4-6k CE?!? The last 2 on AH didn't even get bids at 200k cr (over full 2 day auctions mind you)...
I'd value the holiday scarves at 3k CE at the moment, just based on AH history
Also, volcanic long feather is really far off (currently "valued" at 30k CE on the list). It's worth less than a divine long feather, and the most recent one (currently ending on the AH) is around 300k cr (officially ended at 280k cr). That's a pretty fair market value for a volcanic long feather (I had it at 5-7k CE before this one went up on auction)
Divine long feather is more like 8-11k CE in my experience (sold 2 of them for 8k CE and probably could have held out for more if I wanted). Saw one sell for buyout on AH for 999k cr, but idk how. It was during a crazy run of divines being put up for 499k and 999k cr (most of them sold for buyout)
EDIT in response to below: Hey if people are actually paying that much then cool, I just haven't seen any get bought out on the AH for even 270k cr. 280k was the final price on the volcanic long feather, yes. 30k CE was a wildly inaccurate price anyway ;) and I sold my last divine feather about 2ish months ago.

Is there any point on listing the low-med UVs on things?
For example, the gremlin med on the asi high flourish doesn't affect it's price at all, and for clarity's sake it should be removed. same with similar low-med non asi/ctr uvs on any gear listed.

Thanks for the price checks mate. Your statement about the low/med UVs doesn't make sense and I think Apo is also hinting at that as well. The items that Worknplay has given me all have like double or triple UVs the best ones being MAX or V.High. The Lows have to be listed as the person buying has to know 100% what they are buying.

-Prismatic Extra Vertical Vents (15000ce - 25000ce)
-Prismatic Canteen (5000ce - 10000ce)
-Prismatic Parrying Blade (6000000cr)
-Prismatic Plume (5000ce - 15000ce)
All of these but the Parrying Blade are official. The Parrying Blade price was known to be this much by most merchants. The Extra Vertical Vents, Canteen, and Plume were actually bought by me for the above prices.

Arc, I think your pricings for the asi med 5* may be just a bit off... Depends on where you buy, what you posted is the ideal seller price, but I bet I can search around and buy an asi med BTB for 6kce pretty easily, same with GF asi med... :/ but then again, I do my price checks from a buyer's point of view, and you do it from a sellers XD
I think you can snag a bit more than 3-4kce out of CTR high freeze bomb, as asi high autogun is 3-4, and ctr on bombs>asi on blitz line... I would say 4-5, as I've sold a ctr high shiver for 9kce pretty easily
And about the prismatic parrying blade, I believe the 6mcr pricing is from a while ago when it popped up once on the featured, and my GM Ruby snagged it for somewhere between 5 and 6 mil.

The pris parry blade price is relatively accurate. 70-100k CE is a generally accepted price. Keep in mind there's been about 2-3 trades for them in the history of SK (that I've heard of), so realistically whoever is lucky enough to come across one can really set the price at whatever they want so placing a value on it is extremely difficult.

Then what's the point of a price check thread, which is completely reliant on what someone thinks it's worth by definition? The drop rate for prismatic items is already incredibly low from lockboxes, on top of the fact that Parrying Blades are also incredibly rare. I'm pretty sure the fact that there's only two or three that have been sold - and all of which went for roughly that price anyway - would be enough of a point to include it in the thread's overall price checking thing that you're doing, even if you feel compelled to put some sort of indicator that shows it needs a follow-up price check.
That being said, if the quoted part is going to be the attitude of the OP towards items that he doesn't agree with as far as pricing goes, then I'll stick to price checking things independently. Good luck to those who use the thread in their marketing endeavors however.

Also about the freezing vap he was asking for a price check on a 2 star freezing vap I presume as he didn't put Mk 2 or what ever so I believe not a shiver which we know is 5 star. Only reason why shiver is 9kce is due to the 4kce unbind so roughly it is around 4-5kce if you take off the 4kce unbind. So the price I gave on a 2 star bomb makes sense no, plus I hinted that it could be worth more. Still though I agree with you on the freezing vap.

Your going to think wow, that's a lot but yeah iPhones are very expensive, but still I have to check the price out myself and see if it is really worth that much. Once you ask a few more friends, search the internet and finally become satisfied, you can then make your mind up yourself if the iPhone is actually worth £499.95.
Heres another one for humour sake;
You walk into a shop to buy the new Samsung Galaxy S4. The guy at the counter says without any bother;
"Errr, Hi how may I help you?" while staring down at his magazine.
You reply; "I would like to purchase the new Samsung Galaxy S4 today on a sim only deal. How much would that cost me please?"
The sales assistant then appears to have dollar signs rolling in his eyes..."I have one for you right here my good sir, for you I can do £600s, very cheap, you wont find it cheaper anywhere else!"
Now the stupid person like yourself is going to say; "Ok here take my money! Deal!" Making the sale assistant very happy. However those with common sense would say;
"Thanks for your kind offer, but I cant be 100% sure that this is actually the best deal there is at the moment. I would like to check out a few more shops and compare prices before I purchase. Thanks for your time."
Now lets just say in both cases the price given were correct, but what harm came about from using your own head and seeing how much something was worth yourself. Take what ever meaning you want from these scenarios. The moral is pretty self explanatory. Moving on...
If you read all the previous comments from the start till now, I was updating prices based on recent sales, which makes it 110% more accurate and fair than taking a single individuals opinion on an item. Obviously with some of the more common items its easier to give price checks as we have seen so, so, so many of them sell. The more rare the item the harder it is to price tag it. Legend also commented if you bothered to read that all the prices he gave me except the prisma parrying blade were official. If I knew the price on it I would have already had it updated, but I don't. I haven't seen the sale of a single prisma blade in the past. The list isn't just for me to keep adding to it, its for all you guys to help. I appreciate that he has given me a price on it but I need more people to comment so I get a solid price. Like Rating has done. Now that I have a few people agreeing with the first evaluation of the prisma parrying blade I'll update. Its not a problem.
Every person here has given me price updates based on what they have either sold or bought items for. Its not a matter of me not agreeing with other peoples prices, have you seen the list lol? One guy gave me what he believed prisma parrying blade is worth which he wasn't 100% sure himself, common sense tells you that you must then take more than one persons opinion, compare them and then go with the best set of results. I'm sure you went to school we were taught this then. Also you are right, the only time I wont rush to update the list with a price is when someone "thinks" they know the price of something. I will wait for more people to comment or someone to give me the most recent sale of that item.
I also did do that follow up price thing as well, when prices were not 100% accurate but I found that to be a waste of time as well, as in most cases if something is not 100% accurate its "wrong" so it ment me going in and updating the prices several times until everyone was satisfied that it was correct. Instead now I wait on a few more people to comment and if they all agree it goes up on the list.
I moderate these as best I can, don't point you finger at me and say "his attitude is like this, blah blah blah" I set this up for everyone to help and give out prices. Its what we call a "community effort".
I am actually getting tired of explaining every little minor detail to people who cant be bothered to use their own common sense and like to comment on childish things. I have said this before and I'll say it again as you are new to this thread. The list we have provided here for all to see is to help people get a rough idea on what every ingame item is worth atm, so they can buy or sell items without thinking they just got under cut. If you find this "so" hard to believe I am sorry for you, nothing I say will help you. However if you finally do understand and you want to help, by all means do so like everyone else is currently doing. But if you want to make little childish slants that don't make sense then go over to general discussion and do it there. You will easily fit in amongst some of the professional ranters.
I think what some of you guys have in your heads is that you think you know everything about a game (which is kind of sad). So if someone like me comes a long and turns your perfect world upside down, note there has never been a list of this magnitude ever on these threads, then you all go into some kind of hissy fit and panic. Take a deep breath mate and slowly start to read what I am about to say please. I'm not here to upset any one. I'm here to set up a thread with other helpful members of the Spiral knights community to help (big emphasis on help) other members of the Spiral knights community.
If you are so intelligent and find that picking out a single comment that I made over an "in game" item then answer me this.
Do you think it is better to update prices based on what one individual thinks the price might be, or do you think it is better to update the list on the most recent sale of a particular item and the opinion of a few more people?

Is the Blue Rose Set Correct? Just want to know since the tabard is currently at a 650k bid on AHand I think another tab sold for 9k CE or more. Can't see the Chaps themselves being worth only 16k ish. /shrug. If only the price on the chapeau when(or if) it did get bought out.

# Reqy; AH is like Wikipedia if you know what I mean. Its a good source to see what some things are worth but people can easily set the b/o to ridiculous prices in hope someone clicks buy now. If you all remember 1 ecto drop sold for a million cr because someone put the buyout at 1mill and someone else accidently clicked the buy now. Also if someone is in a bid war then the price will keep going up and up and up. No one then cares how much its worth they just want to win it. It has also been noticed that friends will bid on friends items to make the price go higher. That's very rare but it has happened.
Edit: I don't have price tags on a single rose set. How did you come to the conclusion that your not sure the Rose set price is correct? Are you asking a question based on your sale or what? Please clarify.

@Kenhav the Wolver Cap Shadow Maximum that went for 11k CE was one of the first items I sold when I got back here and you're right to point it out, it's no longer very accurate. 7k CE is much more realistic; I just copied my all sell list in here, there's a number of double/triple item sold which I honestly didn't take time to remove.
Also 5-7k CE sounds more accurate for a Freezing Vaporizer CTR High. I've sold a Shivermist Buster 10k CE about 5 weeks ago.

Edit: The Blue Rose Chap sold for 2,000,000cr on AH. Was the buyout. I was so close to buying it, but I thought maybe a new rose reg event will be coming out. We are technically due one. I hope these colours come;
