I must apologize, but as this thread directly affects a major portion of this game which I feel you are ill equipped to watch over I will not stop posting here. I'm happy to let you do the heavy lifting, but when you give a price check that is far off from it's true valuation (and I happen upon the thread and notice it) I will be sure to provide a more accurate price check. By the way: Hippo said you could sell the coat to your brother at the agreed upon price. He didn't say you could hold onto the coat and work to resell, while also having the option to return if you couldn't get a profit off it. PS: Merchanters buy low, sell high. Invariably, wether you're dealing with a friend or not, merchanting hurts players. The only way to not make it so hurtful is to go by your provider's offer and make sure he's happy with it.

Crown of Winter's price needs to be adjusted more to 12,000 - 18,000 CE (just saw one sell for 16k CE)

Divine Mohawk's value needs to be adjusted based on my sale, plus the impending sale of another Divine Mohawk for between 20-25k CE. I'd change it to 20-30k CE (not to mention uniquevariant's valuation)

Volcanic Mohawk should also be adjusted to 20-25k CE (based on AH sale of 1.8 mil cr which was a slight overpay, but it's so rare that it's perfectly acceptable)

I also agree with Uniquevariant's valuation on these items:
Divine Mustache = 5-10k ce (have to be patient, as divine dapper combos are cheaper and plentiful. but this is more rare)
Volcanic Mustache = 1-2k ce (fairly unimpressive, doesn't match nearly as much stuff, doesn't "pop" on a costume.) --> EDIT: I'd probably still put it at 2-4k CE since it is pretty rare, and someone will eventually want one bad enough to pay that much.

(in addition to most of the others, except that it appears recent history has it that divines are more rare and slightly more valuable than volcanics rather than the other way around. it's a pittance of a difference in many common cases though)

Now that the price checks are over, by your definition and explanation, isn't your previous post classified as "spam"? I should probably report you I guess...but I'm a kind hearted gentleman, so I'll let it slide :)

----this includes scams such as unbinding fee scams, or any scam that is made possible by SK's limited trade function such as changing a number without someone realizing, switching items, or any general subterfuge. The "you shouldn't have clicked accept" is a BS answer and the province of cowards."

Rules to live by:
#1. Never make a loan unless you are okay with it turning into a gift.
#2. Never accept partial payment unless you are okay with not getting the rest of it later.
#3. Always assume that someone else may be trying to merchant off you, and keep in mind when making deals.
#4. If you are unsure or 50/50 don't let someone talk you into it, you'll almost always regret it.
#5. When buying ask yourself "will i be disappointed if someone else buys this out? If yes, you should probably just buy it yourself."
#6. Never buy the newest rare promo item during the first few hours, lol.

Morally wrong, but people do it:
#1. selling gear they don't own. (what arc is accused of, and what another known merchant is notorious for)
#2. Lying about buying something for personal use only to resell for profit.
#3. Tricking newer players into underselling. (new suckers for every promo)
#4. Taking advantage of the unwitting (such as buying G1 rose regalia for absurdly low amounts to some1 who just came back).
#5. A hundred other underhanded scoundrel moves i can't take the time to list.

The sad thing is, worthless human beings outnumber the good ones in this world. Even under the strictest of punitive systems bad people continue to do bad things. A huge percentage of people in the world will do things the wrong way, even when its just as easy to do the right thing. I see people every day throw trash on the ground when a trashcan is a foot away. Its the world we live in. Useless lousy people are everywhere and they revel in conducting themselves in useless lousy ways. From real life criminals, to online "griefers," to corrupt politicians, to forum trolls. A subsegment of our population are so miserable that they find the need to make everyone else miserable; a subsegment are so greedy that they will say or do anything to get what they want.

And lastly:
If you were not there, don't take a side. If you didn't see it happen with your own eyes, don't pass judgement in public. Its fine to support your friend privately, or vouch for their character if asked, but if you didn't see it happen, or you were not one of the people involved in the act, you don't know, no matter how much you BELIEVE one side of the story or the other. Or course, this is the internet and everyone knows everything, and no amount of anything will change anyone's mind.

Friendly advise. This thread will continue to be derailed so long as you let it. You have stated in multiple threads that "me and hellohippo have resolved this, its over so leave it be" and then went on to rebut every charge leveled against you, try and straighten folks out (again) on what did or didn't happen, and-in a round about way-tell them how they SHOULD feel about everything, now that the dust has settled.

You have to let it go. If you want it to end then let it end. I know its hard not to argue when you feel like you are being attacked, but as long as you insist on getting the last word/explanation on the matter you are stirring the pot as much as is anyone trying to provoke you. If it was over after you and hello hippo hashed it out a page or so back, then you should have stated as much once, and then ignored every comment thereafter.

I've no idea who is "right" or "wrong," in all of this, but if the two parties involved have resolved the issue in a satisfactory manner, then no one should care, and you shouldn't care if they do.

Just be aware that no matter how much you decree that this should be a dead issue since you and hippo hashed it out, at this point you are the reason its alive and convulsing on the floor. You are being poked by a sharp stick, yet, its perfectly in your capability move far enough away the stick can't touch you.
