Cool. Quite surprised at that. I personally wouldnt pay more than what I quoted but maybe I was harsh. Damage bonus on any weapon for me is a waste. Full Chaos plus BTS nets me MAX damage. Combined with one True Shot Module and Penta Heart pendant I get MAX damage + MAX ctr on all my guns and swords. I dont find ASI usefull past medium and almost all my main weapons combined with this setup has ASI med on them. Penta is just for that little reasurrance when I solo (95% of the time)
2million a pop on those items was very nice. Congratulations.

Look at the value of shadow dragon wings on the list and multiply that value by 75. No point multiplying by current ce price as, as soon as the promo. s over ce will rise to a steady 7500cr per 100ce.

I didn't remove my posts out of pettiness from the other thread, I removed them because the prices i paid were old (from 6-7 months ago). I will throw them back up, in case they are the most recent data on those items.
prism goggles = 1m (might have been a bit of an overpay, but i wanted them, and the seller wasn't 100% keen on selling them).
prism wide vee = 600k (bought off AH, and i feel it was a good deal)
Divine side blade = 500-650k (i felt like this was a right nice deal, AH again)
divine bino visor = volcanic bino visor (roughly)
divine parrying blade = 1.2m (was probably low)
divine mohawk = 1.5m (close to the 2m that just sold)
volcanic mohawk = ?? (not anything close to what the one that just sold on AH. Whoever bought that is...not smart).
Divine Maedate = 200-350k
Divine Helm guards = 90-250k (depends on if they are needed to finish out a costume)
Volc Helm guards = 200-350k (same as above)
Divine Mecha wings = 225-450k (same as above)
Volcanic Mecha wings = 225-400k (same as above)
Divine Mustache = 5-10k ce (have to be patient, as divine dapper combos are cheaper and plentiful. but this is more rare)
Volcanic Mustache = 1-2k ce (fairly unimpressive, doesn't match nearly as much stuff, doesn't "pop" on a costume.)
for most 'low end' divine and volcanic gear, i feel that they are about even on price. With the exception of helmguards, divine are much more common than
volcanic, and mustaches/hairs divine are better looking and fetch higher prices, since volcanic nearly mimic surge.
I will back up the thought that a prism parrying blade is 70k-100k ce. If i was offered one for 70k ce today, i'd probably take it. not 100% sure, but probably.
Editors Note: For most of this stuff these are prices that I have paid in the past and would give the bottom end, or close to it, right now if anyone had them and wished to sell. (not all, many of these I have multiples in my inventory, or costumes with them and don't need another set). Also, the prices may have shifted in my absence, probably not by huge amounts, however. I took a 6 month break--ongoing tbh, and only marginally kept up with pricing. But the prices don't appear to have changed much, it just takes longer to sell gear but can still grab nearly the same amount for it. And accessory value doesn't drop as much in a stagnate world, especially rare accessories.

Archknight, apology accepted (and even then it was unnecessary). I don't blame anyone for trying to keep members of the community 'honest,' and thats all you were trying to do. The misunderstanding is perfectly understandable given i posted under my alt. And i'd be a hypocrite to judge you for trying to call out a perceived wrong on the forums when that is the exact same thing i was doing in regards to that players lowball offers for those items. I'd rather the bazaar forums be policed and have mistakes made than not be policed at all. Again, we need some 'good guys' around to keep newbs from being seperated from precious items if fate smiles upon them.
The thought of somebody getting a lockbox and opening it on their 3rd day of play, getting a prism parrying blade (or some other super rare item) and selling it for 1-5k ce (or some other swindle) would be heart breaking. We've all heard greedy merchants brag about buying 1st gen rose regalia for absurdly low prices. That kind of stuff sickens me! (auction house notwithstanding. its all fair if someone places something dirt cheap on the AH, then they've done it to themselves, rather than having been taken advantage of by a crooked player.)

3.5m is the going rate for shadow dragon wings. I turned down an offer to buy them for 3.5m yesterday. But if you can't find a buyer at 3.5m and need money fast i'd pay 2.5m for them :)
--the trick to merchanting is to be the most patient person in the room. Person A might not be willing to wait 6 months to sell an item for "full value," but Person B (me) will gladly buy an item for 2.5m and wait 8-12months to sell it for 3.5m. Even though person B is running the risk of the item being promo'd again and losing value.
and now i'll sink back into the shadows and lurk my way through the SK forums.

I only know one person who took offence at the fact I sold both thier custom coats and made a profit. It doesnt matter how you resell or who you resell it to, as long as the initial trade was fair and both parties were happy. Which it was in my case.
One thing I have noticed in this game only, out of all the online games I have played the Spiral Knights community is one of the worst. Almost all of the big name traders/players take offence at the smallest of comments. There are already a few people we know whos egos are well beyond that of anyones understanding. They got thier reputations not by helping the community or bieng skilled at the game, rather than paying hand fulls of cash towards the game and becoming rich and recognisable that way. Then they have the nerve to call themselves "the best traders". Anyone can spend 100s of quid on ce/promo packs sell them and make a profit. A true trader is one that works hard from scratch and slowly buys and sells his wares to make a profit. Now dont get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with funding something you enjoy but to show the sort of big headedness attitude that some of them do is sickening and in my books ignorant. Then if you challenge them they post with utter rubbish, just to sustain thier apparent high status in a "game". I know for a fact I made some of these top shots upset by making this thread. Not only that but alot of them thought this thread would never grow, I got that hint from Ret and one other person whos name I will keep annoymous in respect. Its funny really how they can sit there and laugh at a thread that was created to invite every buyer/seller to help each other. Nice.
Apo I feel sort of offended that you would think that I would mind that you sold YOUR almirian set. There are only a small number of people in this community that are as good and honest at heart as you, NEVER and I mean NEVER think me the sort of person I described as above.

The person you said, that took offence that you resold 2 of the custom costume sets and resell them is me. Now, yes, I'm offended with you. But not for the reason you think I am. If you want the whole world to know, well, here goes.
1. The custom Vog Coat. This is what I took offence at. The fact that you blatantly LIED about the fact that your brother was the one interested in it, and wanted to preview it before he buy it. When in fact all you wanted to do was let Kmito preview it and resell it to him. Assuming your brother really exist and plays SK, he was never interested in it. I have already confirmed the dates of my trade with you and your trade with Kmito, and based on those dates, your brother would never had time to preview them. NOW, if you had just buy it, and took the risk of reselling, I have no issues. The issue is that you LIED, just in case Kmito didn't want it and you could return it to me. If you like, Kmito has already agreed to come on here and confirm this.
2. The custom Snarb Coat which you bought off me @ 25k ce and resold @ 38k ce. I have absolutely no issues with this. However, I do find it very amusing how you find it OKAY for you to do that. And make a huge profit off it, and have an issue when Rating did so with his Divine Mohawk. ON TOP OF THAT, you even asked me not to tell anyone that I sold it to you for 25k ce so it's easier for you to flip.. I find your double standards very very amusing.

We are co founders of Order of Valor. People that know my brother are all top ranked members in our guild and the following if I can remember some known people on his friends list Norespekt, Crowwkd, Dagoth-Mafuba, Dutch-Oven, DarkHawke, Rustork, Quazzare, Mysticbeam. I dont know everyone who knows him as I have neverr had to check his friends list.
Now regarding the coat. I already emailed you about this but seeing as you didnt understand it maybe someone else on here will. This is the truth. After I saw your vog coat I was very interested in buying it off you. Not for myself but for my brother. I told you I only see him on the weekends or during holidays as he studies away from home at University. I also asked you to hold onto it for me as I was going to buy it 100% if my brother liked it. During that week I knew your B/O was 25kce but I wanted to see what I would make on top if someone else was interested if my brother did not want it. I was refered to Kmito. He offered me 20kce for it. Know I know he is one of those people who likes to take advantage of reselling so I wanted have some fun with him. Obviously at this point I did not have the coat and I had no intention of reselling it either. After bieng continously pmed and mailed by Kmito that he really wanted it and that the coat was his and only his and that he wont resell it and it was worthless but he still wanted it. Friday nigjt I spoke to my brother when he came back and told him you were selling a custome vog coat for 25kce. The first thing my brother said to me was how much can you make ontop if we decide to resell later? He doesnt have time to play as he is studying so there will be no point in wearing it. He was still unsure and wanted to see it. Thats when I mailed you I think on Saturday. I asked you if I could borrow the coat for a few days while he (my brother) was at home. You said there was trust issues and was happy to lend a high value item to someone you didnt know. I was fine with that. Now answer me this. If I was lying and wanted to risk buying off you and my brother not wanting it and Kmito offering only 20kce do you really think I was in any situation to LIE to you at that point. So I payed you the full 25kce and asked you to do a refund if my brother did not like the coat. Believe it or not 25kce is alot of ce for someone. I think it was two days later when I showed the coat to my brother. And surprise surprise he didnt like it and asked me to give it back to you or resell higher. I also remember you saying that you would only hold the refund for 3 days. And guess what I was on my 2nd or 3rd day I cant remember and I though lets try and get Kmito to raise his offer. It took me a while but I managed to make 1million cr profit. Thats the fully honest version coming from me not that troll Kmito. I hope now you realise.
