With Sanaca and Arch...
A ghostly blade rips through the assassins, followed by a Gran Faust through their skulls. When they drop to the ground, a Void Chieftan takes their place. The other bandits try to attack it, but their swords just bounce off its menacing black armor. It ignores their attacks at first, attempting to reach Sanaca and Arch, but gets annoyed with the constant sword strikes and absent-mindedly crushes a bandit's skull. The rest of them realize the futility of their assault and try to flee. Sanaca and Arch aren't able to see what happens to them from the alleyway, but they can hear their terrified screams along with the sounds of ripping flesh and the occasional Valiance charge.
The Void Chieftan slowly extends its hand to Sanaca and Arch, possibly indicating peaceful intent. Could it really be true?...
With Albert...
"GWEN!!" Sanaca screams. I recognize that voice... Gwen springs into action. She whips around and spots several bandits ganging up in an alleyway. Help them, she telepathically orders the Chieftan. He charges up his Gran Faust and unleashes it on the unlucky bandits. Confident that he would succeed, Gwen turns to the bandits ganging up on Albert. She draws her gunblade and darts past them, leaving a trail of blood and dead bandits in her wake. She gracefully flips over the fleeing stragglers and drops them with a spin upon landing.
She sheaths her gunblade behind her back and strolls back up to Albert. "You were saying?"
After some things happened, I saw a malicious figure step toward me, burning with eyes of flame. Didn't look like a bandit to me. Then he stepped away, revealing a young woman in 5* armor.
This looked a ton like a bandit. But well, you know, just in case she's friendly and all, and all that other kind of stuff...
I sheathed my Nightblade (thank god I could stop holding it, I was already feeling the power of evil invading my mind... or was that something else?) and greeted her. But how did she know my name...
"Um, hello, Gwen... I seem to have a few bandits who are chasing me here, let me hit some of them first." With that, I unsheathed my Nightblade again, charged it up, and unleashed a charge attack, taking out a few bandits. I repeated this process. They were simply everywhere, however. Soon, I was completely overrun by bandits. But as long as I could hold on to the last strand of consciousness I had... I held out my Defender weakly. A blue aura formed around me, knocking back all of the bandits. I wasn't Nightblade charging at this point, I was too weak, and it would be futile to attack. More bandits came. God how I wish Gwen would help me right now...
