Well, this was a bit wierd. But I watched it anyway, because. . .

Attack on Cradle (Roleplay)
Hex tried to laugh, but as soon as his chest moved, pain shot up his spine.
" I don't think this is the right time, Mekoikoi. I can't feel my legs.
...
I can't feel my legs."
Hex finally took in what had happened. When he smashed through that building, he must of tore and broken something at the same time. Hex looked at his legs, then at Mekoikoi.
"Get me to the lab. I don't care how, but I'll fix this. If it costs me my life, so be it."
"That bad? I'm sorry, but I don't know what else to do, we have breached Walls, and a literally very big problem to deal with. I-I'm just not thinking properly." Mekikoi helped Hex up, "Let's just get you to the Lab, then I think I can do something about your legs, but you'll have to help me... I'm afraid that the rest of the team has to hold out on their own while we get you back to working order."
After struggling to the Lab, which was luckily not under attack, Mekikoi began work on Hex's 3DMG.
"I'm no medic, but I'm pretty sure, that if I put supports here, it should help you... I think. I want you to modify your 3DMG output, to increase the max power, you'll lose fuel faster, but I'll make something that should compensate for that. Once you have that done, I don't think you'll need to walk on your legs at all." Mekikoi ran to get materials and began work. As he was putting two gears together, an idea hit him.
"How fast can you make a Reverse Deoxyribonucliec Acid Reformer?" He asked Hex.
Hex smiled, although Mekoikoi didn't see it.
"About as fast as you can say: We're both thinking the same thing" He said, getting to work making the RDAR
He was almost done when he thought about it. That sudden realiseation that he couldn't use his legs without some sort of aid bothered him. Maybe, once this was all over, Hex could lock himself in the lab and repair his legs.
((Aww, right now would've been the perfect time for Friday to pop in D: I shall wait for a response though.))
Mekikoi gave one last inspection before walking over to Hex, fitting the fuel efficiency optimizer onto the 3DMG, allowing for greater output for extremely reduced fuel consumption. It would probably take a little longer to work out all the kinks and make it practical before it could be used on other 3DMG's but it would do.
"Wow, you weren't kidding, nice work! Now we just need a large enough receptacle that will allow for it to be enhanced, and duplicated. Then it needs to be aerodynamic enough to reach the Titan in as little time as possible, I just hope it works."
Hex thought it over.
"Wait. So, I'm the one who's bringing it down? Or am I there to help?" Hex asked, fully not know where this was going. He was smart, but he couldn't read minds.
Mekikoi smiled,
"Don't worry about a thing, all I need is the RDAR, and we can find you a medic."
((I was waiting for Kaiju to accept me, but you sure?))
"Alright..." Hex said, passing the now finished RDAR to Mekikoi. He was just that little bit away from the chair he was on, and he fell over onto the ground. At least Meki got it.
Mekikoi took the RDAR and began installing it within his half-made receptacle. A sudden rumble and thundering of the ground made him work more urgently, within a matter of seconds he had finished, and added a surprise.
"You holding up well, Hex?" Mekikoi secured the RDAR, looking over at Hex. "Ready to go? I need to go on ahead, you just get yourself straight towards a Medic." (OOC: HINT HINT OCTOBER DAYS ;D)
Mekikoi gave a brisk refill of his 3DMG and launched off.
Hex watched Meki sail away. Dragging himself towards his workbench, he grabbed some broken-down mecha knight parts.
Hex wanted to get out there as much as anyone, but he had something to do.
Something important.
Something that could change the tides of the battle.
(OOC: Where is everyone? I know I probably won't get to write after doing this, but w/e)
Mekikoi reached the top of the wall, the others still counter-attacking the gremlin attack. He ran over to a bunch of Garrison guard members.
"I know you guys are really busy, but that Titan is literally at The Wall, any closer and we are not going to be any better than a broken clock. I want you to all aim at the centre point of each shoulder and begin firing with all you got!" Without waiting for response, he ran off to find a cannon.
(OOC: When I say Garrison guards, I mean all you assigned to the Garrison, reply to me!!!"
Hex was done. It was his greatest creation yet. The pain was inevitable, but he had done it. Putting two mecha-knight motors into each of his legs was, you could call it, INSANE, but look who was laughing now.
Hex kicked the chair from underneath him and stood up. "At least, if nothing else works, I can stand." He sighed, obviously happy with himself. Hex readied himself for the pain to hit him as he urged his right leg to move forward.
Oh, there was pain, alright.
The twisting of gears on bone shot through his body, sending shockwave after shockwave. Hex cried out in pain as his legs continued forward to the other workbench he was using.
It was only when there was a hole in his bone and through his flesh, the pain stopped.
Hex took off his helmet and wiped away the sweat and tears (and a little bit of blood) from his face before putting it back on. Loading Himself with his second best creation, he smiled.
Prepare to eat acid, titans.
((Eh, guess I'll hop in))
Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear I'm late oh no oh no oh no, Friday wandered through the city, rubble from the wall flying past him and Monday, the Seraphynx floating lazily next to him. "Monday, I'm going to be LATE, they won't like this, no, no, no...." he rambles, the winged cat only mewing in response. "You're no help yo- Huh?" Friday stopped suddenly, craning his head to try and focus his listening. The cannon fire and destruction around him wasn't helping. The sound of metal against metal and... sawing? from a nearby building. Friday pulled out his handgun and approached the partially collapsed building cautiously. "H-hello?" He held the gun front of him, hoping he hadn't found some Gremlin that had made it over the wall.
A part of the collapsed building fell, producing dust around it. The noise from inside quieted down, to a sound of motors and clanking, like one of those cowboy boot things. The noised stopped, and when the dust cleared, Hex was standing there. Legs bleeding, acid bomb launcher wielding, slightly dead-looking Hex.
Friday recoiled as the building fell, jumping backwards and quickly regaining his footing and aiming back at the... Is that a... Is he a Knight? Friday swallowed nervously, keeping his gun trained on the part man part machine thing infront of him. Monday mewed quietly, hiding behind Friday. "I... Uh..." Friday lowered the pistol slowly, watching Hex with a look of combined fear and wonder. What has this man done to himself? he thinks to himself. "Uh... Hello?"
OOC: The Lab is that place in the Garrison, you know where you get your battle sprite? I don't know how exactly it fell apart so easily... There are other people in it too as well... but nvm.
Hex almost screamed when he saw another knight with a gun pointed at him. It was a normal reaction, pulling his gun up when another gun is pointed at him. He was about to fire, when the other knight lowered his gun.
"I... Uh... Hello?"
Good. This knight could talk.
"Oh. Uh. Heeeeeeey. Didn't see you there." Hex kicked the ground a bit, the motors in his legs making a small whiiiiirrrr-ing noise.
"Sooooo. How's your day been?"
Friday opened and closed his mouth several times, unsure of what to say. Monday flew up from behind him, going over to observe the other Knight curiosly.
"Your legs," Friday half-whispered, his eyes focused on the machinery merged with the Knights flesh. He shook his head, and blinked a few times before looking up at Hex. "I'm... I'm Friday."" He said, awkwardly extending his hand to shake.
Well, Hex, you asked, and you have received. Here's my take on Mekikoi, hope you like it!
____
Erica had counted on everyone being able to do their job. Her plan relied on everyone executing their part of the mission properly, as well as on the combined ability of the rest of the Assault Corps, Garrison, and Military Police to guard the Haven gates and keep the Gremlins out. However, within seconds, it was obvious that everything was going downhill.
She spotted Andrew flailing about in his 3D Maneuver Gear, desperately trying to right his gear's erratic movements. Gritting her teeth, Erica watched as Sayaka was flicked away from the fight as easily as a fly. She could just see the smaller, thirty foot class Titan smash itself in the face with its own fist. Whatever soldier got it to do that was pretty smart. Then again, Titans were dumber than Lichen Colonies. She turned her head slightly and saw just out of the corner of her eye one of the Veterans of the Assault Corps take out three Titans in one fell swoop. Another was able to fell a Titan with a heel-slash and a stab to the nape of the neck. Yet another blasted a squadron of mechs and an MRA with a single cannon blast. It still wasn't enough. There were too many enemies encroaching on the walls!
Shaking her head angrily and narrowing her eyes in determination, Erica hastily deployed her grapples, hoping they would stick to the Colossal Titan. A solid hit. Seeing that, she pulled on the trigger of her gear, releasing a blast of highly pressurized helium gas that propelled her forward until she landed on the Titan's massive forearm.
Erica could vaguely make out the figure of Eve sprinting up the beast's other arm and followed her lead. At that moment, she had to draw away, as a barrage of energy rounds battered the Titan in the shoulders. They left an enormous, gaping wound, but in a matter of seconds, the gash was fully healed. Impossible! Erica angrily bit her lips and deployed her grapples once more. She didn't know where Eve was, but she couldn't count on anyone else now. She had to take out this threat. And take it out soon. As the grapples connected, Erica triggered another blast of gas, propelling her towards the nape of the Titan's neck. Suddenly, a plume of smoke billowed outwards from the Titan's body, clouding Erica's view and filling her lungs with thick, noxious gas.
Although essentially blinded, Erixa still knew where the nape of the neck was. It was the same size in all Titans, from ten foot classes to this Colossal one; 6 feet tall and 5 feet across; a 30 foot area that can be struck. Which made it easy to take out many Titans, at least if they were alone. But they are like zombies, finding a single one is an event that rarely occurs. Anywho...
With a mighty roar, Erica slashed her Purgatory blades at the Titan. She felt nothing but air.
Could I have missed?
When the smoke finally cleared, the Colossal Titan was gone. Could Erica have killed it? No, she didn't feel her blades connect with anything. So what happened?! WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?!
As Erica pondered this, she only realized she was plummeting to the ground until she was fifty feet above the tri-heads of a MRA. With much haste, she sloppily deployed her grapples and released a burst of gas, reaching the top of the wall in no time. She looked down on the city of Haven in confusion; the Gremlins, MRAs, and other technical beasts were leaving the city! Even the Titans were trudging back outside of the walls... But why?
Looking to the sky, Erica saw the cause of the Gremlin retreat. A massive storm was gathering in the distance, at least ten miles out. Even from that length, Erica could see the raging path of destruction the storm was taking, and she understood. If the Gremlins stayed and continued their assault, they'd eventually be torn apart. They didn't have enough time to destroy the Isorans and take shelter inside of Haven's sturdy, tornado/hurricane/earthquake/tsunami-if-one-ever-occurs-proof buildings. Erica shifted her gaze to the gap in the wall and was relieved to see Isoran engineers already patching up the holes. They could be done within the hour.
Problem is, they didn't have an hour before the storm came. Besides, it would be a while before the Gremlins attempted a second attack. The engineers apparently realized this, as they retreated to the safety of their homes. Relieved soldiers and civilians returned home as well, and because the attack was so short, virtually every building was unscathed, and Erica would later learn that only ten people died in the attack. Still, that's ten too many. Erica sighed and followed the lead of all the other soldiers, returning to the barracks. The sun was only just rising, and she was already exhausted.
----
A few hours later...
(Everyone is now safe within their houses or in the barracks, in the case of the soldiers. Kind of a filler to get everyone acquainted.)
After a short power-nap, Erica searched for Sayaka inside of the military dorms. She had slept like a baby despite the hurricane that had been -and still was- raging on outside. The sturdy design and materials used to build all the buildings in Haven essentially rendered even the most furious of storms as harmless as a dead Snipe.
After finding no sign of Sayaka in her room, Erica decided to see if she was with Andrew and Eve. Not there either. Finally, Erixa checked the mess hall, where every branch, from Military Police to Assault Corps, had gathered, watching the big screen in front of them with excited looks on their faces. Erica pushed forward to the front of the crowd and found her friend nursing a black eye, smiling and joking along with Eve, Andrew, and a tall male soldier -if memory served Erica right, his name was Rigele- as the four of them played Call of Duty, intense expressions on their faces.
Andrew was the first to notice Erica and smirked at her, "Well, what're you waiting for? Join in and get a taste of my quickscoping skills!" At that, Sayaka threw her hands up in the air. "Every time!" she cried in annoyance. "That damn Andrew and his sniper rifles!"
"Deal with it, kiddo. In the meantime, say bye bye, Rigele." Eve hissed triumphantly. The other soldier, Rigele, gritted his teeth irritably as his avatar was taken out by an explosive. "I hate video games."
Despite the earlier attack by the Gremlins and the raging storm outside, it wasn't hard to find something fun to do in the barracks. Smiling, Erica grabbed a spare controller and joined their Free-for-All game. Usually, Erica was rubbish with a firearm, but video games were different. She was a master of the trigger-finger.
Erica was enjoying time with her fellow soldiers, and nothing could ruin that, apparently not even an attack by a Gremlin army and a monstrous Titan that was tall enough to look over the Haven walls.
Even though they were disgraced and forced to live in these cages called walls, humanity still had a heck of a way of having fun.
_______
Sorry, I never got around to this. Life problems. besides, I'm visiting my aunt's house for the week, and the connection here isn't very good. Anyway, Friday's accepted. By the way, all the Assault Corps soldiers basically get standard issue 5* gear, along with their Purgatory blades, 3D maneuver gear, and 20 replacement blades (the Gremlin machinery is hard to cut through. Titan skin, harder still. Even Purgatory blades get dulled easily.)
Friday Battle Specs
Intelligence: 5/10 (standard)
Social skill: 4.5/10 (sometimes gets caught in awkward social situations, but who doesn't? He's a bit less than average)
Weight: 4/10 (for his age, that guy is skinny as heck! O.o)
Height: 9/10
Vitality: 4/10 (he isn't very strong, so I'm guessing he doesn't have much endurance either.)
Battle skill: 4/10 (mixed with others in his team, he could work wonders, but alone, he's a sitting duck.
For anyone who hasn't seen Shingeki no Kyojin, I have included these two examples to show you what the 3D Maneuver Gear looks like.

I've also included a demonstration of how the 3DMG is used in a battle. When you watch this video, skip to 1:33 and you'll see how the gear is used.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eua71FNVMaE
OOC: It has now become a make shift lab where the Assault Corps Mechanical Engineers work, and apparently it was a wee bit too unstable for all the craziness.
"Hex. Nice to meet you, friday. You're the new medic, right?" Hex said, shaking friday's hand. "Oh, also, one more thing" Hex added. "I'm a very good listener. I can tell you're scared about my legs. It's quite obvious."
(OOC: Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!! It looks awesome Kaiju!!! Yay!!! Art! But yeah thanks for that video, wasn't 100% sure how the 3DMG works, but not anymore!)
Mekikoi sighed as he opened up the RDAR and deactivated it. If it wasn't for the storm, they would have been messed up bad. The regeneration capabilities of the colossal Titan meant that using an RDAR wouldn't be enough, he needed something more powerful, something that would work against the healing... Or with it. He smiled as he heard the other guys squabbling (yes squabbling) over a game. He had to think of something, but he needed help. In fact, he hadn't actually seen Hex since the attack, strange, he thought, but continued working.
((Oh jeez, thought I was making a younger character for some reason. Guess he can be bulked up a bit so he isn't a skeleton, just keep him skinnier than average :p Wait... Is Shingeki no Kyojin = Attack on Titan? Oh. I feel very silly.))
"I... Yeah. New medic." Friday's eyes flicked between Hex's legs and his face. He shook his head again and resolved to stare at the ground. "Sorry, it's just.... Y'know... Forget it, there's a fight to be won, right?" Friday looks back up with confidence in his eyes. "Let's go."
" By the sounds of it, it's over." Hex watched friday inspect his legs. It was strange, having someone so fascinated and scared at the same time. "Also, one more thing. I'm really sorry if my legs are creeping you out, but you don't have to hide what you're thinking. Hit me."
"I... Oh." Friday hunched over a bit, look visibly disappointed at missing out on the battle. He glanced at Hex's legs before looking back up at his face. "I'll uh... It's ok. I should go, uh... There's probably people hurt. I should go check on them." Friday nodded awkwardly before turning around and running off with one glance back at Hex.
----
Friday sat against the wall, watching the others playing their games and socializing. Monday slept on the floor next to him while Friday scribbled something in a journal in his lap. Every once in a while he'd glance up nervously at the the other Knights before going back to his book.
"Hey! Wait!" Hex called out. By the time he had finished yelling, friday was already gone. Hex looked down at his legs. "Was it because of these...? Did...Did I scare him off...?" Hex wondered. He sighed, and started walking back to the base.
I was always a master at video games, I had to do something when I was ditching my studies. But I also didn't know that my fellow soldiers sucked that badly. One thing that I feel is a little awkward for me is that I'm so animated while I play these games, "HAHAHA! GOT YOU! I am amazing, you think you can hit me? KAPEW! Come on, guys! COME AT ME!" As I said this I would be jumping around, laughing pointing, and whenever I lost I would almost freak out the entire 5 second re-spawn time. Nevertheless, I got to spend time with my fellow AC members. It was a fun time, and I never wanted it to end.
~
"$&#*ing Cradle!" I shouted at the top of my lungs. Eve killed me for the fifth time in a row. She looked up at me and smirked; the others continued to laugh, they always did when I lost. I threw down my controller and stormed away yelling, "HAX, HAX, HAX..." I went to the AC Barracks where I began to pace. I was thinking, but more than just Call of Duty. What happened today... I couldn't control my gear. I always hated when my glasses were off, it really sucked. I wonder how Dad used the 3DMG... My Dad also had glasses, I wonder where he kept his journal... He always told me to keep a journal. Speaking of which, I got really worrisome, my journal! Where is it?? I checked my locker, nothing. I went back to where the others were playing video games, "Hey guys, has anybody seen my journal?" They all shook their heads real fast, still focused on the game, "Well can anybody help me find it?"
"I'll help." Eve got up from the game to help him find his journal. "Where did you last see it?"
She glanced around; no sign of any books.
"Well... I'm not sure..." I said exasperatedly, "I might have dropped it while..." My voice trailed off. What if I dropped it in the battle field? I didn't really know how to respond to this. I decided to be completely honest, "I-I might have dropped it while we were in battle," I replied. "Do you still want to come?"
Eve twirled and cocked her gunblade. "Sure. Let's do this. Lead the way."
"Just a moment" Rigele stood. He might have heard Erica silently curse behind him. Now she didn't have anyone to play with.
"I'll go with you. I wasn't there for the battle, and I want to see what's left. Besides." he grinned.
"Three heads are better than two, right?"
"Alrighty then," I smiled. I tried to hide my dismay at my predicament. I headed out the door to the Walls of Haven. It wasn't a pretty sight, debris everywhere, blood splattered in an assortment of places. Thankfully there wasn't a siege going on at the moment. I went to go find where my I had my 3DMG freak out. I wasn't completely sure where that was. I kept looking, it couldn't be under the debris, because as I was probably flying everywhere it would have landed atop it. That's when I saw it, a book! I squinted a little closer and ajusted my glasses. I found it! I see my special bookmark! The only problem was... I turned to Eve and Rigale, "Well, I found it," I told them. Eve lit up, "Awesome, where?" I sighed and pointed at the top of the Walls. "It's up there..."
After hearing some of the gaming die down, Mekikoi walked in curious. After finding out what they were going to do, he asked,
"While you guys are out there, do you mind seeing if you can find any traces of that Titan, or any broken parts from the Gremlin's machinery? Thanks! Oh and Erica, seeing as you are free now, can I request your assistance on something?"
As soon as Hex got to the base, he rushed towards his bed. He didn't really want anyone seeing his legs after Friday running away because of it. "I should've been out there to help fight, not screwing around with my legs." Hex punched himself in the leg, causing the leg motor to hum a bit. "That battle could've gone faster with me there. Probably would have had less casualties."
Erica smirked as she took down Sayaka, Andrew, and Rigele with a single bullet. "What was that about quick scoping skills? I just scored a collateral on you three!" she teased Andrew. She laughed at the irritated expression Sayaka's face and the rage-quit sort of face that Andrew was making. Erica took a moment to bask in her victory before narrowly dodging a shotgun blast from Eve. She quickly rounded a corner and dove to cover behind a car- only to be greeted by a claymore. "SHI-"
KABOOM!
Eve smirked and said, "And that makes 10 games that I've beaten you all. This is too easy."
"$&#*ing Cradle!" Andrew shouted. Eve merely stuck her tongue out at him and grinned, which drew a chuckle from everyone. At this, Andrew stormed out, screaming "HACKS HACKS HACKS HACKS..."
Erica shrugged and edited her class for the next round. "Eve, how about a one on one?" The older girl sneered and replied, "Okay, but its your funeral."
With the game almost done, and with the score tied, Andrew rushed back into the mess hall and yelled, "Hey guys, has anybody seen my journal?" Erica turned her head to give him a snarky reply, and Eve scored another kill on her. The game ended. Erica sighed. Again, Eve had bested her. Everyone shook their heads in reply to Andrew's question, and he implored, "Well, can anybody help me find it?"
"I'll help." Eve said, getting up from the game. "Where did you last see it?"
"Well... I'm not sure..." Andrew said, exasperated. "I might have dropped it while..." He trailed off. "I might have dropped it while we were in battle. Do you still want to come?"
Eve twirled. "Sure. Let's do this. Lead the way."
"Just a moment," Rigele interrupted. "I'll go with you. I wasn't there for the battle, and I want to see what's left. Besides, three heads are better than two, right?"
"Alrighty then," Andrew smiled. With that, the three walked out of the barracks and out to the ruins of the battle.
Just as they were leaving, a somewhat skinny, average-sized scientist walked in and asked, "While you guys are out there, do you mind seeing if you can find any traces of that Titan, or any broken parts from the Gremlin's machinery? Thanks! Oh and Erica, seeing as you are free now, can I request your assistance with something?"
Erica finally recognized the scientist. Another new member of the Assault Corps, someone named Mekikoi. She shrugged indifferently. "Well, everyone else is going out now, so I have nothing better to do. Why not?"
"I have an idea, but I just need some help doing it. With your help, it should be done by the time the others arrive."
(OOC: Kaiju, Eve herself didn't twirl. She 1) twirled her gunblade and 2) cocked her gunblade. It was supposed to be a "moment of coolness." :P)
Andrew pointed out his book on the wall. Pfft, easy. "No worries. I can get it." Eve jumped up the wall and reached the ledge with surprising dexterity. She grabbed the book, tossed it to Andrew, and jumped back down with a big smile on her face. "Piece of cake." She patted him on the back and heaved her gunblade over her shoulder. "Where to next, chief?"
Hold up. I thought the walls were like really tall? Check 00:20
V EDIT: Riiiiight. :3 I forgot about the 3DMG... WHelp nevermind. Imma post sewn.
Ise, the walls ARE tall. That's why I said even the 300 foot tall Colossal Titan could only PEEK over the walls. What are you trying to say? Besides, remember? 3DMG? You can scale pretty much anything if you know how to use it right.
"Oh thanks! Good thing I didn't try that, my glasses would have flung off!" I said gratefully. "Well now we have one more thing to search for: Titan parts or Gremlin machinery lets do this!" I said, happy now that I got my journal.
((Feel free to describe this with your character, I don't really want to. :3))
~
About an hour later we came back with the parts. "Umm..." I had no idea what the scientist's name was so I yelled, "Hello? Scientist-Person? We have the parts!"
Mekikoi perked up at the sound of them returning. Scientist-Person? He furrowed his eyebrows. He was a Mechanical Engineer, not a scientist-person, but then he laughed, walking out to greet them, Erica by his side. They were both covered with splotches of oil and other things, but at least he had finished.
"Glad to see you're back, and you managed to salvage some stuff too! Thanks, that'll really be useful." Mekikoi smiled slyly, and with pride announced, "And for your reward, I can upgrade your 3DMG!" He motioned for them to follow him back inside his workshop.
"Currently, I have made two upgrades. The REEMFU, or the REDMTU." Holding up some mechanical parts, he said,
"The first one is the Rapid Energy Expulsion Multi-Firing Upgrade. I integrated a series of adjustments, that allow for extra grapples to be launched, except, I replaced the grapples with a small versions of the Purgatory Blades, which I call Purgatory Grapples. Where you would normally hold to launch your grapples, I have added a button that is located near your thumb, that when pressed, will launch them out in the direction you're facing. Pressing it again will cause it to retract. It's called Energy Expulsion, because I took some mechanics from the Energy sniper rifles, and integrated it within the launching mechanism. That allows you to launch it with tremendous force, and if the target is close enough, will retain a bit of the Energy, which can reduce the amount of energy required for the next shot, which in turn allows for even faster firing. It is slightly heavier due to the extra wiring, and Energy conversion mechanism, but I'm working on that."
Putting the thing down, he walked over to another group of mechanical parts and held them up.
"This is the Rapid Electrical Discharging Multi-Targeting Upgrade. It follows the same basic principle as the previous one, but instead of mini Purgatory Blades, there are Electro-Magnetic Dischargers, EMDs, at the end. When fired, though not as fast as the REEMFU, it is automatically drawn to the closest metallic hub, which I'm hoping is an MRA or Gremlin Mech. It will attach onto it, and as soon as contact is made, a surge of electrical energy will run through the insulated cables, and release a charge of about 20 times stronger than a Voltedge. This should disable it, and or blow it's circuitry. The part near the end of the Grapple is uninsulated, so for those of you with good aiming skills, you can wrap it around and give more surface area for the electrical burst to do damage."
Placing it back down, he stood up, smiling proudly.
"So, those are the two upgrades I can upgrade your 3DMG with, however, you can only choose one or the other for now, I'm afraid. I'm working on creating an automatic upgrade, which allows you to just hold onto the firing buttons, and the machine will do the rest. I also want to improve the power of the Purgatory Grapples, maybe add some nasty surprises that will deal more damage. And add something that will allow the Electro-Magnetic Dischargers to not only have increased power, but pierce into it's opponents as well. But with these machinery parts, and, ugh, Titan 'remains' I should be able to come up with something by tomorrow."
"So which will it be guys? Who wants a REEMFU and who wants a REDMTU?"
Spiral Knights Logic: Invents groundbreaking upgrades for the 3DMG. Keeps it to himself, and gives to two knights. Nope, make sure you don't tell your superiors about it so you can manufacture some more, just give it to random knights who have NO training with the things.
Whoopsies, double post! :D
EDIT: Waiting for the other two to respond before I choose. :D
Yes! Kaijuhunter agrees with Atgatg!
Kind of weird, but... Perhaps he wants to try and use the others as test subjects, and if hey can use the gear properly, he'll reveal the blueprints? *shrug*
I was really thinking that you guys would be happy to be one of the first to try out the new 3DMG offensive upgrade, frankly I didn't even think about showing it to the superiors, but I think that letting our nice group of friends get to use it first would be best, considering that this if far from finished. there are still many things that need to be improved and added to the new offensive systems, so it would be impractical to release and manufacture it. I'll tell the higher ups about it once you guys have chosen which upgrade you want, after all, who cares about Saftey regulations? Not me! :D
And anyways Im not keeping it to myself, I'm sharing it with our little AC team, and I'm sure that with one training session, you guys can figure out how to use it, and the. Develop your skills as you go. You can also request which upgrades you want first, automatic, more damage, light weight/ more efficient. Stuff like that. Also taking into account he made the entire basis of the system with only one persons help in a few hours, he can probably make at least two upgrades a day, depending on the difficulty of the upgrade. But he'll still need help conceptual ozone them and building them. The original plans to upgrade the 3DMG, he had already drawn out btw.
And one last thing, he had spent a lot of time creating the design, it was just that he needed to be backed up by the Spiral Order's military to get access to the things he needed to construct it, Im sure the higher ups are well aware that he had designed an upgrade for it.
Mekikoi burst into the room, finding Hex crumpled on the ground, legs clearly injured.
"What happened?" But one look at Hex's 3DMG, Mekikoi remembered. "Oh right, you tinkered with it. Gotta be more careful!" Mekikoi almost smiled, but then broke the news to Hex. "There's a giant Titan, 300 feet, isn't vulnerable to the usual hit points, I think this is a completely new form of Titan. I have no idea why it looks the same, but at the same time doesn't have the same characteristics." We gotta get to the lab and figure something out."
