Knowing Erica...

She'd want the REEMFU upgrade... Moar attack power and mobility is always good.

Technically...

(OOC: You don't have to call it the REEMFU upgrade, because the U already stands for upgrade, or you can call it the REEMF upgrade, but I'm just being stingy.)

"Erica already chose the REEMFU, if that gives you any ideas. Oh I forgot to mention the REDMTU is heavier than the REEMFU, because of a generator built into the rotation fan that gives it more electric power."

OoooOOooOooh!

The Scientist-Person showed us to this room where he visibly was tinkering about the 3DMGs. "My name is Mekikoi, by the way. And I'm a Mechanical Engineer, not a "scientist-person,"" Mekikoi said. I was a little embarrassed for being ignorant, "I'm sorry, I didn't know your name, nor your official title, so... yeah..." I said. Mekikoi smiled, "That's alright, here, let me show you what I've been working on..."

"..."

I carefully looked over the new 3DMG upgrades, I finally made up my mind, "I'm going with the REDMT," I told them.

((Not sure if I was supposed to do that with the fact that Tag brough up, but whatever. :3))

Btw

Ise, Im not sure if this is what you meant, but the Purgatory Blades are exactly the same, I did nothing to increase its power, I merely took the same Sun Silver and Shadow Steel hardened metal and made them grapple-ish, but not so much that it would drag you into your target when you retract them. And besides the REDMTU utilizes electricity, it doesn't do any actual physical harm, like upon impact, but it might give you a bruise if it hit you xD that is if you don't die from the electricity...

I hope you guys like this idea...

"You guys can leave your 3DMG's here, they should all be fitted with it in an hour. In the meantime, Erica, why not show off how it works and get used to it yourself in the Training grounds?" Mekikoi suggested, grabbing more of the mechanical parts from around the workshop as he upgraded the 3DMG's.

(OOC: And don't forget that you guys can request which upgrade you want Mekikoi to work on next!"

Isoran Guide to Mobs N' Stuff

List of known mobs/enemies-

Hostile

Gremlins: although they aren't any stronger than before, their numbers have grown quite a bit and their new weapons of war are truly the greatest adversaries the Order has ever faced. Most Gremlins now pilot highly advanced mechs outfitted with state-of-the-art combat tech, but with the invention of the 3D Maneuver Gear, a well-trained Assault Corps squadron could take one down with relative ease.

X427 MRA: essentially tanks, MRAs boast a 500mm cannon made in the likeness of a Roarmulus twin. They're slow, but powerful.

Cerberus Units: Cerberus units are triple-headed Roarmulus weaponry. They are shaped like their namesake, the triple-headed dog Cerberus and like an actual, biological dog, they are capable of running very fast. Each of the three heads hides a powerful Crystal Energy laser, and on each shoulder of the beast lies a 500mm cannon capable of firing Crystal Energy, guided missiles, and any other piece of material you can shove down the barrel.

Titans: monsters designed in the likeness of the Isorans themselves, Titans are the most dangerous biological weapons conceived in all known history. They lack a conscience, are immensely strong, and have extremely potent regenerative abilities. Some are known to grow back even severed heads. The only known way to kill the Titans is to strike deep into the nape of their neck. For reasons unknown, their regenerative powers immediately cease to work after this spot takes enough damage. They range from 10 feet to a colossal 50 feet in height, tall enough to look Vanaduke in the eye. If the Gremlins were trying to make the Titans' appearance identical to mankind's, they have failed horribly. All Titans seem to be extremely deformed, most sporting enormous mouths, enormous potbellies, faces ugly enough to turn Medusa to stone, and disproportionately large heads. Still, that makes them all the scarier. The Gremlins seem to have added yet another terror factor to these beasts as well. After all, it's far more terrifying to watch your fellow soldiers be eaten alive than to watch them simply die. The Titans mindlessly and needlessly devour every Isoran in sight. It's like their PURPOSE is to kill us (which it is). We have only three advantages against these beasts. First off, the Three Dimensional Maneuver Gear allows soldiers to be far too fast for many Titans. Secondly, Isoran artillery can, given time, puncture the Titan's rock-hard skin, and should a shot be accurate enough, it can rip through the nape of the neck and effectively down the beast. Third, Titans seem to lack a brain, and we Isorans are capable of forming complicated battle strategies. So, yeah. Titans don't have brains. Not literally, as they wouldn't be able to function without one. But really. They are mindless and desire only the taste of Isoran flesh. They also appear in hordes, and if one Titan is seen, at least a hundred others are somewhere within the area. We believe that Titans derive energy from the sun, as they lack a digestive system and become far less active at night, which is why the beginnings of many Assault Corps missions take place just before sundown.

Deviant Type Titans: any Titan that behaves or is in any other way abnormal and unusual compared to the average Titan is automatically classed as a Deviant Type. These are the most dangerous Titans, because, as the name suggests, they do not follow any one set of rules. Some are able to patiently lie in wait outside the walls and ambush passing Assault Corps patrols. Others possess strange dexterity and can climb walls with ease, but luckily, they are usually only 10 foot classes (still, there are always a hundred Garrison soldiers on alert at all times.) Some are able to maintain a high level of activity at all times, even at night. It's also been reported that some Deviant types can run at speeds exceeding 60 miles per hour (ordinary Titans are slow and sluggish). Some even exhibit remarkable intelligence, and usually don't attack unless ordered to by the Gremlins or provoked. They kill Isorans not to eat, just to kill, show the ability to perform precise hand-to-hand combat, and know how to move on to tactical locations in order to do more damage. And in the case of the recent attack, its been discovered that a new Deviant has emerged; the Colossal Titan, which has been estimated at a whopping 300 feet tall, just able to peek over the walls of Haven. These are only a few of the many types of Deviant type Titans that make the job of the Isoran military all the more difficult.

M227 Dragonfire- miniature assault helicopters, Dragonfires are hard for our cannons to shoot down, and are covered in an alloy that even Purgatory blades have trouble cutting through. Each one has a maximum capacity of 6 miniature rockets and carries a miniature Vulcan 679 Minigun, complete with a cache of 10,000 bullets.
----

Other

Titan Shifters: Isoran scientists are currently attempting to decrypt the Titans' extremely complex genetic code (ironic, considering how stupid, anything-but-complex most Titans are). Why are we allocating our resources towards this? First of all, to know the best way to defeat something, you must first understand it completely. Secondly, it's hoped that certain parts of the Titans' genetic makeup can be incorporated into Isoran DNA, thereby creating Isorans that can transform into Titans themselves. If this plan works, it can help to turn the tides of the war.

Strangers: The strange beings we know as Strangers disappeared from Haven only a month after the Gremlins emerged from the Clockworks. No one knows their current whereabouts, although sometimes they are spotted outside the Haven walls and have been known to occasionally help the Isorans.

Snipes: ever since Erica began murdering and devouring every snipe in sight, the little birds have migrated outside of the Haven walls, into Gremlin territory that, due to the lack of Isorans, is paradise for them. Snipe flesh is highly valued and extremely tasty, and because of their dwindling numbers within he walls, even a tiny Snipe can sell for upwards of a hundred thousand crowns. Yes. A hundred. Thousand. Crowns. Erica could've easily made millions considering her Snipe-catching skills, but she preferred to keep them for herself and make a meal of them. Oddly enough, inside of her dorm is a small, disabled Snipe that Erica rescued during a Gremlin attack. Both were survivors of war, and Erica couldn't bring herself to kill the little thing.

It's okay Ise

Mekikoi is planning on developing a way to increase the damage inflicted through the use of purgatory grapples, but as for the blades, you'd probably have to mention that to him, in-story ;) (HINT HINT)

Eve and Erica chose the more damage suiting ones, I felt a little left out since I was using brains over brawn. Which not to say they're stupid... I thought for a while staring off into space, the others could tell I was thinking, so they waited patiently. Finally, I had an idea, "Hey Meki, is there anyway you could modify the Purg Blades? If I could get to the enemies faster and deal more damage, then I'd say it's a win-win. But I chose strategy over, brute force, because I prefer taking the smarter way in," I glanced at the two girls with a playful smile, "What if I could to both though? Would it be possible for you to increase the power? Maybe with some status infliction or specific modifications for the Titans?"

SK on YT? What is this YT you speak of? Strange thoughts...

Mekikoi paused his work at the idea. The Purgatory Blades were a vital offense, and they were just as important as the 3DMG, if he could find a way to increase it's power, but made it still easy to produce, that would be quite the advancement. He pondered for a second, then replied,

"I'll have an upgraded version by tomorrow."

I smiled, "Haha, awesomeness." I took a quick glance at the two girls, I don't think they were expecting that. I now get the full deal, "Whelp, I'll see you guys in the Training Room then!" I said walking to the training room. Which I then realized. I had no idea where it was. I can't go bck though, I just made the most stylish exit ever! I kept on walking and turned right, somebody behind me yelled, "Other way!" I quickly changed directions and headed towards the room. "How's that for the smarter way in!" Another person yelled at me. I sighed, I'll get them back later...

Erica cautiously followed Mekikoi to the slightly dilapidated Lab and pulled out a computer chair to sit on. Plopping herself down, she inquired, "What do you need, man? I swear, if you want me to sell my body, then I'm going to ki-"

"The heck? Of course not!" Meki cried in surprise.

Erica sighed, relieved, and grinned. "Good. I would've had to kill you if that was what you wanted. So... What DO you want from me?"

"Listen, I've been working on this project for a long time. I present to you," he beamed, and held up a complicated jumble of mechanical parts, "My new upgrades for the 3D Maneuver Gear!" Erica raised an eyebrow in askance. "You managed Tom IMPROVE the 3DMG? Dang, you must be a genius."

Meki blushed and stammered, "Well, I dunno about genius, but..."

He was interrupted by Erica holding up her hand to stop him. "Save it. I'm pretty smart, smart enough to skip a grade, and the complexity of the 3D Maneuvering Gear is far too hard for me to wrap my head around. If you managed to make something so complicated even better, you must be smarter than... Who was that scientist from a thousand years ago?"

"Albert Einstein," supplied Meki.

"That's him! So yeah, you make that guy look about as smart as a Titan!"

Mekikoi smiled shyly. "Really?"

"Well, if you can explain what this pile of nuts and bolts can do, and if you can really make it work, then yeah."

Meki beamed. "Well, currently, I have only made two upgrades. The REEMFU and the REDMTU."

"The first one is the Rapid Energy Expulsion Multi-Firing upgrade. I integrated a series of adjustments, that allow for extra grapples to be launched. However, I replaced the grapples with a small versions of the Purgatory Blades, which I call Purgatory Grapples. Where you would normally hold to launch your grapples, I have added a button that is located near your thumb, that when pressed, will launch them out in the direction you're facing. Pressing it again will cause it to retract."

Erica nodded. It really didn't sound as complicated as it looked. "Well, why do you call it Energy Expulsion?

"Well, I called it that because I took some mechanics from the Energy sniper rifles, and integrated it within the launching mechanism. That allows you to launch it with even more force than the ordinary 3DMG, and if the target is close enough, will retain a bit of the Energy, which can reduce the amount of energy required for the next shot, which in turn allows for even faster firing. It is slightly heavier due to the extra wiring, and Energy conversion mechanism, but I'm working on that."

Erica smirked. "I can handle heavy." Proudly puffing her chest out slightly, she added, "I'm a soldier. I can handle whatever you throw at me."

Meki shrugged and put the mechanism down, then walked over to another group of mechanical parts and held them up.

"This is the Rapid Electrical Discharging Multi-Targeting Upgrade. It follows the same basic principle as the previous one, but instead of mini Purgatory Blades, there are Electro-Magnetic Dischargers, EMDs, at the end. When fired, though not as fast as the REEMFU, it is automatically drawn to the closest metallic hub, which I'm hoping is an MRA or Gremlin Mech."

Erica noticed how Meki said "hoping".

" It will attach onto it, and as soon as contact is made, a surge of electrical energy will run through the insulated cables, and release a charge of about 20 times stronger than a Voltedge. This should disable it, and or blow it's circuitry. The part near the end of the Grapple is uninsulated, so for those of you with good aiming skills, you can wrap it around and give more surface area for the electrical burst to do damage."

Placing it back down, he stood up, smiling proudly.

"Just so ya know, you can only choose one upgrade. I'm working on changing that, but for now, its only one."

Erica smirked. "Easy. I choose the faster, stronger one. REEMF for me." Mekikoi nodded in understanding and replied, "Okay then, I'll need to take your 3DMG for now so I can apply the upgrade to it."

Erica complied without a single word, and carefully unstrapped her 3DMG, then handed the set over to Mekikoi.

"By the way, REEMF is too long to say, even if its the abbreviation. If you don't mind, I'll just refer to it as the MK II."

The scientist shrugged, and happily took Erica's gear.

"I'll be right back."
----

"HOLY- mother of Vog, this feels amazing!" Erica shouted, spinning in a circle so Meki could get a full look at her upgraded gear. Both her uniform and gear were covered in oil, but she didn't mind. The new gear fit her just perfectly, and even though it really was a bit heavier than standard 3DMG, it felt like nothing to Erica.

"Nice to see that you like it so much," Mekikoi replied.

Suddenly, someone called from outside, "Hello? Scientist-Person? We have the parts you needed!"

Meki perked up immediately, but furrowed his brows in irritation. His face expressed exasperation and annoyance. He scowled for a second, then laughed and walked out to greet the others, Erica close behind.

"Glad to see you're back, and you managed to salvage some stuff too!"

As Eve and Rigele chatted amiably behind him, Andrew handed a bag stuffed to the brim with items over to Meki. "Thanks, these'll really be useful. And for your reward, I can upgrade your 3DMG!" He motioned for them to follow him back inside his workshop.

Erica spinned around, relishing the feel of her new gear, while Mekikoi explained the upgrades to the others.

She Perked up at the end of the explanation and listened as Meki added, "I'm also working on creating an automatic upgrade, which allows you to just hold onto the firing buttons, and the machine will do the rest. In addition, I want to improve the power of the Purgatory Grapples, maybe add some nasty surprises that will deal more damage. And add something that will allow the Electro-Magnetic Dischargers to not only have increased power, but pierce into it's opponents as well. But with these machinery parts, and, ugh, Titan 'remains' I should be able to come up with something by tomorrow.

Erica's eyes narrowed in suspicion. Why would Meki need Titan remains for 3DMG? Was he working on something else that he wasn't letting on about? (OOC: hint hint, decoding Titan DNA)

"Anyway, which will it be guys? Who wants a REEMFU and who wants a REDMTU?" Erica already chose the REEMFU, if that gives you any ideas. Oh, I forgot to mention the REDMTU is slightly heavier than the REEMFU, because of a generator built into the rotation fan that gives it more electric power."

After careful consideration, Andrew announced, "I'm going with the REDMT, and besides, if Mekikoi manages to increase the power of the Purgatory Blades, then I'll be able to immediately get to the MRAs and Gremlin Mechs faster and be able to deal massive damage," I told them.

Eve shrugged indifferently and pointed at the gear on the left. "I'll go with the REEMF, please. It suits my fighting style."

Meki nodded as he took everyone's gear and said, "You guys can leave your 3DMG's here, they should all be fitted with it in an hour."

"Wait, Meki, is there anyway you could modify the Purgatory Blades? If I could get to the enemies faster and deal more damage, then I'd say it's a win-win. I choose strategy over brute force, because I prefer taking the smarter way in." Erica snarled, and Eve had to struggle to hold the other girl back.

Andrew glanced at the two girls with a playful smile, "What if I could do both though? Would it be possible for you to increase the power? Maybe with some status infliction or specific modifications for the Titans?"

"I'll have an upgraded version by tomorrow."

That gave Erica an idea. "Wait, I've got something. Meki, you think you could somehow improve the durability and cutting power of the Blades, maybe implement some other type of material into the Shadow Steel/Sun Silver combination? If you were able to make them sharper and harder, we could take out so many more enemies without having to replace our swords as often!"

Mekikoi pondered this, then said, "I'll see what I can do. In the meantime, Erica, why not show off how it works and get used to it yourself in the Training grounds?"

Erica smirked. "Sure thing." and walked out.

Andrew smiled, "Haha, awesomeness. Whelp, I'll see you guys in the Training Room then!" He said, walking outside, albeit in the completely wrong direction.
--

Carefully, Erica deployed her grapples and let out a small burst of gas. She rocketed forward with so much speed, she felt her face ripple slightly in the wind. She faced a nearby church and pressed the new trigger for the grapples, a button just under her thumb. It deployed so swiftly and smoothly, Erica could barely believe it. Adjusting to the amazing speed of the upgraded gear, she closed her eyes and felt the wind blow past her face. It was splendid. She felt like she could take on any Titan, Gremlin, Cerberus, you name it.

Suddenly, she noticed Andrew walking below her. Where was he going? He said the Training hall, but the Hall was in the opposite direction! Erica smirked. The idiot didn't even know his way around Haven! She decided to have some fun and deployed her grapples again, stopping on the side of a large clock tower.

"How's that for the smarter way in!" She yelled down at Andrew. Smirking, Erica blasted out of the way just as Andrew looked up at the tower, seeing nothing. Erica sneered and focused on the task at hand. Surveying the landmarks, she attempted to figure out exactlywhat part of Haven she was in. It was the Southwest district, an area that existed mostly as the military headquarters of the Order. The real name of the place was Shiganshina. She needed to be in Aurora, the Northeast district, and the site of both the Gremlin/Titan attack from yesterday and her destination, the Training Hall.

Erica made a 45 degree turn to the right and flew through the air, and within only about 5 minutes, she had made the 10 mile trip to the Hall. That was 120 mph! Almost twice the speed of regular 3DMG (70 mph max)! And considering the fact that Erica had been carefully controlling her every movement, the 3DMG MK2 could easily be even faster! The prospect was amazing and astonishing to Erica.

Maybe, just maybe, the Gremlin onslaught could be stopped.

Back at the broken gate...

Zaki was in the Garrison with many of his fellow comrades, almost all of them more seasoned than he. It didn't take much to figure that those who wanted fame were stupid enough to join the Assault Corps, regardless of their combat or intellectual ability, and those who wanted a life of comfort joined the Military Police.

Zaki told himself that he was being reasonable, but the inner yearning for battle returned as quickly as it had left him. He wanted to take another look at the Colossal Titan, but he knew that it'd have to come later; the upcoming storm (or the recently past storm, IDK KAIJ) had interrupted the battle, and it would undoubtedly take time to get the Titans back into action.

So here he was, straining his eyes from inside the Garrison's structures. Straining his eyes to look at what was beyond the Wall through the half-mended gate, waiting for the next course of action.

Anxiously, he checked his Winmillions, which were sharpened after being blunted by their use on Titan skin. He'd probably have to save them for the Mechs later...

He sheathed them in an X on his back, and checked his Purgatory Blades. While he was never used to their stiff build, they were indeed better weapons than the ones he had. Similar to Acherons in the sense of sharpness and cutting power, but they had durability. Only after slicing through dozens of mechs, choppers, and tanks or a few Titans would these blades even begin to show signs of dullness. Of course, many soldiers ended up breaking them prematurely by slashing the wrong way, or using them as brakes, and Zaki was no exception to this.

Perhaps there would be a way to strengthen these blades, or make new kinds entirely (Kaiju, I think you and I know what kind of material will accomplish this, although even harvesting this requires one of our most dangerous enemies to be utilized).

OOC : Dammit, I don't know how can I mince Zaki with you guys >.<

Mekikoi frowned, this would be trickier then he thought. He deployed his unupgraded 3DMG and shot towards the training grounds. After awhile he found the others.

"I'm sorry, but after some communications with Spiral HQ, I can't make the fully upgraded Purgatory Blades as I imagined, we don't have enough recourses. So if it's okay with Tyro, I want you guys to go and find me as much Precious Metal as you can. But meet up with me tomorrow, because I still have something to give to you." Just a question.

So are the Purgatory Blades based off of something in the anime? If so, are they the ones that dude uses to slash te neck area of that Titan in the video? If so, I would just like to point out that the sword that Mekikoi has in mind is less Japanese and more medieval.

OOC : The Female Titan used this to prevent herself from getting interrogated by the Military Police. The Wall Titans also utilize this, although it makes them as useful as a solar panel on the dark side of the moon.

There is NOTHING stronger than this material in the manga, as the researchers literally snap dozens, if not hundreds of tools to extract a miniscule sample.

Yes, the Purgatory Blades are based off the Super-Hardened blades from Shingeki No Kyojin. They look the same only with more intricate designs on the hilt and blade. Personally, I like the design of Japanese swords a lot more (better for cutting, and they look plain badass) than that of European blades (their double edge makes them easier to maneuver, and good for blocking) but I don't care that much. Do as you please.

@Vinny; oh, I get it now. I see that you've read the manga. Nice. But how do you propose that the characters should harvest this material, as it was specifically stated that even their Super-Hardened blades couldn't cut through it.

Three words: The Spiral Conspiracy.

Hey, I think it's a little rude to keep commenting on Kaiju's thread when we're talking about something else.... How 'bout....

1) Log on to Spiral Knights. (Unable to right now.)

2) Make a new thread to discuss.

Yeah, I agree that it's rude to do this on Kaijuhunter's thread.

@Kaijuhunter: I'm sorry about that. I didn't mean to be impolite or anything. It's a good roleplay; it's just not my thing. And no, it's not the lack of action; most of my own roleplays lack action too. It's just that I don't feel inspired in this one. I wish y'all happy storytelling!

@Hex: here's the link to a picture of the material that Vinny is talking about. http://shingekinokyojin.wikia.com/wiki/Annie_Leonhardt
Once you're on the page, click on story and scroll to the bottom of that section. You'll see the crystal there.
As for the Super-Hardened swords, this is what they look like in the manga/anime. I don't know what color it is, as its only shown in the manga this far, but Im guessing its white and translucent, like mica, since you could see Annie inside of the crystal.

As one can see, the blade itself retaibs a shape slightly similar to that of a katana: long and with one edge, so as to provide a better cutting weapon. The hilt of the blades double as the triggers for the 3DMG, making them doubly important for combat. In the case of upgraded 3DMG and blades, I'm guessing that the button will be somewhere on the grip, so as to be easier to reach (just rest your thumb on the button instead of having to reach over and pull the trigger).

@Thin: don't worry, it's all perfectly fine. I'm not a two year old who'll rage if he doesn't get his way. If your planned RP does get going, you mind if I make a (probably minor) character app for it?

Btw, too lazy to read the whole of the Spiral conspiracy, so would someone just please give me a quick summary of it?

I don't know how to respond to any of these. :T

Hex heard Meki talking about some sort of 3DMG upgrades he had came up with through the wall. He wanted to know what was going on, but he was torn between staying in bed and making sure no-one sees his legs, or just go out there. He'd decided on the former, seeing as they were going to find out sooner or later. Dragging himself out of bed and onto his legs, he walked out, bracing himself for the reactions, then the comments.

Thanks. I appreciate that. :) You won't need to find the original Spiral Conspiracy fanfic, because the RP may turn out entirely different. The discussion thread for it should be up now, containing my proposal for the RP's story (it's not settled yet).

Everybody's already gone.

Mekikoi returned, beginning work on his an improved energy conversion mechanism, it would be important in a variety of things. A whirring of gears caught his attention and he saw Hex enter the room.

"Sweet legs, I'm surprised you managed to get the gear chain and the counter stabalizer to work in your legs. Had a nice rest?" Then Mekikoi remembered the things he had acquired from the team. "Can you take those Titan remains and do some cross referencing analysis? Oh and don't forget the subjection tests, I want to figure out how that thing healed so fast, so I can develop an improved RDAR that will work with its healing, meaning increased spread. While you're at it, mind also doing some multi injection's with the RDAR and alter the DNA sequencer to different levels to see which is most effective? Thanks, you're great man!" Mekikoi grabbed some gremlin machinery and began inspecting it, thinking what a great person Hex was.

Welp :T

Hex lifted his finger to say something, mouth wide open, before lowering his finger and shutting his mouth. That had gone better than expected. Hex shook his head, and finally managed to make some words. "Sure thing, meki. I'll get right on it." And with that, Hex gathered some remains, put on some goggles, and began to take some tests. " There's definitely some silkwing tissue in there, I'm sure of that. There's some other thing in here. It doesn't match any records or any samples, either." Hex took of his scoped goggles. "Whatever it is, its not natural."

Hex left his station and went onto another one, with the prototype RDAR on it. After changing the gas levels, DNA sequencer, and putting on a few extra vents, Hex was happy to say that the power to launch one purgatory grapple into 20mm plating was about 50 kg's of force. After explaining that to Meki, he added another thing. " Remember. What you're using is SWORDS to cut through tank plating, which is used in some of the titan's construction.

Finally, how does a titan regenerate. Hex thought it over. If it was to do that in about five seconds, it would have to be in a molecular level, maybe something inside of it reacting with the air. So, using the leftover scraps he used from his first experiment, he put it on a metal sheet. Grabbing a small, and by small, Hex means one of those medical blades used to cut jellies in half. Putting on his scoped goggles, Hex zooms them all the way in before jabbing the titan remains. The wound stays there for a bit, then slowly, but surely, recovers.

"Meki. I figured it out."

Hehe, it's fun talking nonsense ^_^ Er I mean, doing science!

"I have too, they hit the jackpot with this piece of junk, though I wouldn't call it junk. This is what the Gremlins use to convert energy and by golly, it's really powerful, uses varying processes derived of one central unit, Gremlins are geniuses!" Mekikoi put down te part and walked over to Hex. "So? What makes these Titans tick? Or rather regenerate with such speed?"

"Part of my theory was right.

"Part of my theory was right. Everything the titan is made of reacts to air. Somehow, the insides must not like oxygen and try to plug it out. Lets see what happens when I do this..." Hex grabbed some sort of hose, with a very small tip. He cut into the scraps again, but this time, instead of letting the wounds heal, he stuffed the hose in, and then turned it on. The hose started to pump air into the cut, and the cut immediately regenerated. However, it did not stop there. Bubbles started to form around the cut, until they were huge and moving violently. " You might want to step back." Hex warned. The bubbles continued to grow, until they burst. Hex raised his shield and stepped infront of Meki, shielding most of the goo. It was everywhere.

Ahahahaaaa!

Mekikoi tool a second to take the information in.

"Of course! That's simply brilliant! In order for the Titan to heal, it needs lots of something to act as a catalyst to the reaction, and what is more avaliable than air? By having the Titan draw its needed resources from it's surroundings, the increased surface area caused by injury would almost instantaneously regenerate! Along with everything else we know..." Mekikoi patted Hex on the back. "This is perfect, all we need to do now is apply this new knowledge with the RDAR, so that the RDAR can act as a super catalyst, which at the same time, would apply its effects to the Titan while it's healing, allowing for a quick and potent DNA destabilizer! You've done absolutely awesome." Mekikoi congratulated Hex. "Oh I almost forgot, you still haven't chosen which upgrade you want for your 3DMG, go ahead and get one, I'm sure you can figure out how to work it."

Too lazy to edit.

Mekikoi went to scrape off some of the goo. Why did the Titans want to expel oxygen? If in upon itself oxygen is what powers its regeneration, then something with too much oxygen... Perhaps it was the result of over reacting? The oxygen itself would cause the reaction to build up, and since it's trapped within the quickly reforming skin, the reaction backfired by blowing up? Something about Hex's theory on the Titan not wanting to have oxygen in its body still stuck out, maybe it was simply because the design was derived from nature? Goodness, Gremlins are truly mad geniuses.

Over done?

Hex smiled. " Yeah, job well done. About those 3DMG upgrades, I'll go for the REEMF. Thats the one with the metal-seeking thing, right? I'll need help with using this thing, so that should be perfect."

Heh

Mekikoi shook himself from his thoughts.

"The REDMTU is the one that has the electro magnets. You can try and see if you can find a way for the Electro-Magnet Discharger to still function, as well as pierce through the enemies, it would be a great help." Looking at the clock, Mekikoi added, "I'm probably going to take off for the Night, I've been working way too hard and I'm still waiting for the Spiral HQ shipment, so I'll just finish this perfected Energy Conversion Mechanism, and I'll be off."

(OOC: I also kinda mean that literally, no more from me for the rest of the night.)

"Me two. I'll see you

"Me two. I'll see you tomorrow, Meki." He finished helping Meki get rid of the titan goo, and waved him goodbye when Meki left.
Hex did a few tests with the titan hull, to no avail. Maybe he was too tired. That was probably the case. So, he slumped into his bed, and after five minutes, he was out.

Oh, forgot about that. Once I get done drawing Erica, I'll get right on it.

@Hex+Nova: So, from what I gather, Titan skin reacts negatively to oxygen, and immediately seals once exposed to it? That's a clever explanation for the Titan's potent regeneration abilities. But can you two answer this; how come this reaction to oxygen immediately stops when the nape of the neck is severely damaged? Is there some type of organ in there that is responsible for this chemical reaction? Or is there another explanation?

Hur hur hur

As Mekikoi drifted to sleep, he recalled that by striking the nape of the neck, Titans could be dispatched, by means the regeneration would cease, something about that area rendered the chemical reaction naught. Something at the neck was acting as a, perhaps second catalyst, or a some sort of central unit that would stop the reaction from occurring. Once that area on the neck is exposed, maybe, for some reason the whole body immediately shuts down on the chemical reaction?
