I've just examined your app; scouts are not allowed to be armed with combat weapons. If you like the stealth aspect, go Recon, but if you like the speed/power aspect, go Striker.
If I allowed Scouts to be armed, they'd outclass the Strikers and Recons. :/

@Ultimaknightz: A small tent serves as the central command center, yes, but the "camp" per se is a jumble of sandbags, mecha turrets, and miserable knights.

Personality: Slightly grumpy all the time, "Grunt" will get straight at the point of any situation and try to bypass anything that may sidetrack him. He's a sucker for treasure, though. He fights mainly with his swords, but if an enemy keeps out of reach he has a Valiance and Quick Draw Module on hand to dispatch them. He attacks with powerful blows when using his Combuster, quick slashes with his Flourish, and only occasionally breaks out his Scissor Blades.
Biography: Trained as a Guardian for most of his career, he was usually friendly and open, but when he ventured into an abandoned devilite city alone, he was quickly outnumbered and had to rely on his skills and instinct to keep him alive. He only managed to escape after three weeks stranded, and was greeted with friendliness on his return, many think new scars may not be the only thing that changed on that mission. He also lost a lot of field time, and when the conflict within the Clockworks escalated, he was sent straight out to the front lines, where Guardians were desperately needed, leaving him still a Defender Elite.
Edit: Derp, I said he had a Crest of Almire even though he's a Guardian so he uses the Guardian shield. Fix'd.

Appearance: In armour, out of armour she has shoulder-length chestnut brown hair, amber eyes, and is shorter than most. Otherwise, she has no distinguishing features apart from a small scar on her left hand. (since I don't know how to work height mods, her height is standard in the pic)
Loadout: Regal Tailed Helm, Radiant Silvermail with accessories shown above, a custom shield that defends from nothing but normal (she forged it to match her costume, and she is not the most experienced of smiths) shown above, and although her arsenal holds a wide range of guns and almost as wide a range of bombs, her most used weapons are her Valiance, Supernova, Iron Slug and Deadly Shard Bomb.
Personality: Luna is recon material that wants to be a guardian. Any allusion to this matter is probably a bad idea - although she is shy towards most strangers, there are a few things that make her mad enough to counter it. Thus she is slow to make friends, for both reasons, and she cherishes those she has. Another thing that puts her off is a mention of friends she has lost, either by death or by reassignment.
Also, to say she is "very fond" of her costumes would be an understatement. Unfortunately, most of them are merely armour or costume pieces, and she is a little embarrassed and more than a little touchy about them.
She is agile; not being the strongest of knights, she has worked on her dodging skills to make up for that. Therefore she can be in the thick of the battle and escape with minor injuries, if any. This is somewhat due to her bombs, since her bombing skills all but equal her gunning. However, she couldn't use swords to save her life - the scar on her left hand came when she tried to wield a Hot Edge in her right hand. Incidentally, the Hot Edge is one of the only swords she still keeps in her arsenal, and she upgraded it to a Searing Edge. Were she ever to need a sword, that'd be the one she took... though don't ask her why. She probably couldn't tell you.
Since she uses the weapons natural to a recon, it's obvious that she will become a recon someday - were it not for the fact that she has always wanted to be a guardian. Which is why she tries her best to fight like a guardian, although you could hardly say her body was made for it.
Biography: From an early age, Luna was trained in all areas, so she could manage in whatever she chose eventually. While she could survive doing anything, she had no real talent, so it was hard to choose; and she eventually found herself leaning towards the standard - trooper.
After almost a year, she realized how much she admired guardians, and that immediately became her goal. Unfortunately, by then she was a definite gunslinger, and although she was good with bombs, they were merely more recon weapons. She fears that a day might come when being a trooper just won't cut it, and she will have to choose.
She searched for something to take her mind off this, and found costumes. So she spent the next two years creating a main costume, which she wears everywhere, possibly with a little pride, since it was not easy to obtain many of the accessories. She had kept a nervous eye on the increasing intelligence of the monsters throughout the Clockworks, and by the time she had finished with her costume, it was no longer safe to delve alone as she had been doing for the most part. She reluctantly abandoned the idea of another costume, and turned her earnings to other things, finally upgrading to five-star gear and gaining the rank of Champion.
Before that, she had been wandering through the Clockworks, and she came to an abandoned railroad station, the perfect place for undead creatures - but even they seemed to have left it. As she walked through it, getting more confused as she went along, it suddenly came to her; of the three battle sprite caches that had fallen into the Clockworks, one had landed in a station such as this. And it had long been cleared by knights searching for the sprites.
Wondering how on Cradle she had come upon it, she continued through the level until she came to the room in which, if she remembered correctly, the sprites had been found. And as she strolled towards the bookcase in that room, she discovered that the station wasn't quite abandoned. So, picking up the little sprite, she raced to the elevator, tripping over a suitcase and wishing that the knights had been more thorough. Once in Haven, she limped to the Lab, where Biotech Morlin, after listening to her story a bit dubiously, finally agreed to let her keep the Seraphynx, whom Luna named Athena.
Now, recently reassigned from a group of friends to a bunch of people she doesn't even know, she clings to the baby Seraphynx, who is the only one that can't be sent away from her.
(if the sprite finding story isn't okay, she can just have been issued a sprite or something like that)

Jack isn't really that boastful. Technically, Granseal asked for him to answer his question, which he did. It might've seemed arrogant along the way, but Jack was merely stating what he had done. Perhaps his major accomplishments make him seem as if he is arrogantly boasting and exaggerating about his accomplishments? :P
I can tell that from Zero's serious, almost malicious personality during a mission is going to clash with Jack's -at least so far- seemingly arrogant, I'm-such-a-ladies'-man attitude... I sense an annoyed sniper on the horizon...
Anyone notice that Ultima's characters seem to always be the strongest, smartest, most handsome, and seductive out of us all? I don't mean this in any offensive way, Ultima, but do your characters ever have any flaws?

Biography:
¬ Vincent was a Squire when he began to show potential for mechanics, ever since he repaired a downed turret in the Jelly Gardens to save his squad's life. Even if he did it just for the sake of a challenge, he showed skill. Thus began his training in the Development & Tech in the Labs. His interests in Mecha Knights bloomed over all other aspects, and loved the Rustic feel and look of them, so set about shaping more Tech to be more like them during his time in Training.
¬ Over the course of his time in the Labs, his co-workers grew seperate from his Rustic ways, favouring to stick with the familiar Proto-Technology, creating and repairing the usual Lasers employed by the Order. Vincent however, tried to develop turrets that utilised Slug rounds, based on ammuntion from the Magnus lines. Despite their effectiveness in taking down enemies in the Firing Tests, no-one wanted to move from the Reliable Proto Energy to adopt this strange new defensive line. This eventual build of exclusion and distrust led Vincent to Emberlight to pursue his own goals.
¬ During his time in Emberlight, his progress (unhindered by constant doubts from co-workers and other technicians) bloomed as Gremlins helped show him how their Mecha Knights worked and function. This in turn helped shape his Simpler Turrets into More Rustically Designed (almost Steampunk) Slug-Round Turrets. During one of the repairing phases however, a turret that had not been placed on safety was activated while he was cleaning the barrels, leaving him with just a singular arm. This didn't deter him from his passion of Combustion Engines and Rustic Steam Turrets. The Gremlins, who had grown attached to this Peculiar Knight, had begun work on his arm's replacement using their own Mecha Technology. After a few days of testing, it was fitted with little question, and although strange at 1st, began working like his original. It may have had some slower reaction times, not able to hold delicate things without shattering them, and having 2 mishapen exhausts venting steam from his shoulder, but it was just up his alley.
¬ Upon returning to Haven with his knowledge of Combustion & Slug Rounds, His new armour as a parting gift from the Gremlins, and a Robotic Right arm, he began to aid squads with his new line of turrets and defence technology.
Yes, my character indeed does have flaws. As a side note, I mean you no offense in what is stated below.
Jack only uses a seductive personality to compensate for his half-crazed intellect. Although he was born with a talent in intelligence, it also comes at a cost, which is being half-crazy. As such, he utilizes this seductive personality so that he can keep his half-crazy intellect under control.
Jack is also not the strongest. Remember that he is still young, and as a lot to learn. People older than him will have more experience, and I'd think that we all know experience comes out strong in the battlefield. Even if he has immense battle skill, who is there to say that others will have as much if not more battle skill?
In fact, I'd like to question you on your character's battle skill. You know full well that long-ranged weapons easily outclass short-ranged weapons, and yet you claim that my character is the 'strongest'. Take this example: A marksman is battling a swordsman, and they are about 10 metres apart. Who do you think will win? It will obviously seem like a one-sided battle(in favor of the marksman). You even say that your character is a 'Master Marksman', being responsible for 94 gremlin deaths a week(about 13 deaths a day), and has only missed his targets 5 times. You then contradict yourself by saying he is a horrible combatant, even though prior to that, you say he is exceptional at firing. Would that not make him an exceptional combatant?
You also state that he has the nickname 'Zero', and if I may quote: "his nickname comes from the fact that zero targets have ever escaped his bullets" That is quite contradictory in itself. Does that really make my character seem that overpowered?
Jack's 'handsomeness' is only here because he's part of the Rose(I have to keep in character, because if you read the Rose costume descriptions, it says that they're 'dashing'). Also, what's wrong with having my characters as handsome ones? You could easily make your characters handsome as well if you wanted to. But you don't.
To me, it just seems like you're envious that my character seems to make your character seem inadequate. I, however, do not believe that Jack makes Eren seem inadequate. Who's to say Jack doesn't actually admire and respect Zero for the gunslinger he is?(which Jack does)
I was going to point out that the seductive, "ladies man" behavior tends to bite them in the rear quite often but Ultima beat me to it. In any event, lets just not quibble over things. I could say that the Metal Sonic Suit has access to the Mark V Overdrive capabilities but that really doesn't mean anything and it would be considered a power play, however I could claim it was untested and is like how the Generations Metal Sonic behaves. Where after one of the features is used it leaves him vulnerable to attack as he recharges.
Eren isn't jealous. He's always been the one guy who doesn't really give a crap about what people think. The only thing he would be jealous about is if he was beaten in a firefight. When I said he was a horrible combatant, I meant to say that in hand-to-hand, sword-to-sword, etc fights, he is disgustingly horrible. In fact, without his rifle or crossbow, he would be defenseless. In addition, I never meant to say that Jack makes Zero feel inadequate. Zero acknowledges that he isn't good at everything, so he doesn't get jealous of other people. In fact, he respects anyone who is good at what they specialize him (for him, it's sniping).
I didn't mean to say Jack was overpowered. I just said he was very strong. Sorry if there was a misconception.

As such, he does not need such permission from said commander.
Also, your character's the commander. So you might wanna edit the part where you ask Jack to look for the other commander that doesn't exist.
Also, in case you forgot, Thinslayer's original decision was that you should pick between Granseal or Zero to accompany Olivia along with Astran. So unless Zero was chosen by you to escort Olivia(which I hope you did, so Jack and Zero can interact), Zero would not be part of the escort team.
And Jack is not part of camp's escort team. He simply was given a mission(or so it seems) to escort Olivia safely to where she wants to go to.
The question is not so much "when" as it is "where." The most obvious place would be the front line, where most of the combat is taking place, but you could easily place him elsewhere. There are battles being fought all over the Clockworks.
Okay then, I might go hang around the front lines and see if I can get anything done. Hopefully something interesting will happen.
