Thanks for accepting! :D
...I'll be joining in on Wednesday, hopefully by then I'll have a better idea of how to start and more time in which to do so...

I didn't tell the story yet xD
He asked to tell it :P
Hmm? I got the impression that Astran was telling the story? :3
My character was asking to tell his story when you came in
Bar fight! Bar fight! :D
I probably won't be joining in on the alcohol.
I have no idea what group your character was attempting to try and talk to.
@Topoyozariane
"Anyways, I DID choose. I chose Astran and Zero, instead of Mister BLU rose or Graneal."
Wrongo.
Thin said that Astran was already default, as he was critical to the story. You had to choose between Granseal and Zero, though you chose Zero. And did you not read my previous post?
"your commander has not any jurisdiction whatsoever over the Order of the Rose"
MEANING that you cannot stop Jack from offering to escort Olivia. And that you have absolutely zilch control over the Rose.
lol
I was simply proving my point. :P
Also, you make arguments seem like they're bad things. I, on the other hand, think that they are useful in the fact that they are used to find and correct mistakes, especially if they're present in RPs. :)
In this case, I am arguing that arguments can prove points. :3
WELL SCREW THE RULES! I HAVE MONEY! :P
Still, Ultima made a good point. No harm in letting Jack tag along. Besides, he and a eren would make an awesome "odd couple". I mean an odd friendship, not yaoi. Definitely not yaoi. Ultima watches anime like me -I think, since he references anime for his characters a lot- so he should know what yaoi is.
While I'm on that subject, Eren and Olivia would both be classed as Tsunderes, and Eren doubles as a Yandere as well.
I'm actually a yandere irl... Or so I'm told...
I watch animes as well! :D My favorite ones are Death Note, Fairy Tail, Gintama and Bleach.
And yes, Jack and Eren's partnership would not be yaoi, though you are right in saying it would be an odd friendship. :P
@Thin
I've been pondering upon long-lasting roleplay ideas, and found myself thinking upon this:
What if we were to have a roleplay that was Arena-based(mostly fight-based) and could consist of any character you made at any time on the Spiral Knights Forums? Imagine Gwenyvier against Ikaros, Nathaniel against Kirito, or even Top against The Finder! :3 The possibilities are endless.
Might as well tell it since the others and my character may not be around to tell it.
Liminori started "Arena Roleplay," but it never got off the ground.
"Times Have Changed" is one such roleplay, and it isn't done yet (mostly my bad).
Liminori's "Proto Wars" is one such roleplay, but never came close to finishing.
Our longest-lasting roleplays were:
*Return to Cradle
*Return to Cradle: Origins
*Finder's Keepers
*Retribution
*Times Have Changed
If our next roleplay is to last awhile, we'll have to figure out what made the above ones so successful. Note that only two of them were ever finished.
Beep bloop... Hope my story wasn't too OP in the post I made about it. Then again it is a tavern setting and such tales are prone to exaggerations :)
Title says all...
Game of Death is currently on life support, so before they pull the plug, I want to find something else to do, if it's not too much trouble.
However, since Alec was barely used at all (I think less than 10 posts) and I don't want to let something good go to waste, I'd like to reuse some parts of him, like his name and such (all other names I think of are so cheesy, I'm glad I'm not allergic to dairy).
Name: Alexander "Alec" Prelude. If I can't reuse his name, then I'll have to think about a not too cheesy name :D.
Gender: Male.
Age: 64 (old geezer hooray!)
Rank: Champion. But when I was your age, being a Champion was the best of the best. But not now. And we had to walk two miles barefoot in snow to get to our elevators! You youngsters have it easy these days...
Role: Striker.
Appearance:
- Brown, almond eyes.
- Black hair, starting to grey out.
- Light peach colored skin.
- 5'8".
- It's dangerous to go alone! Take this.
Arsenal:
- Ignition armor helm and body costume.
- Vog Cub coat and cap.
- Two elite slash modules.
- Combuster, Barbarous Thorn Blade, Acheron, Valiance.
- Barbarous Thorn Shield.
- Maskeraith Sprite, Glaedr. His perk is Swift Steps Medium. Level 97. Rather sarcastic and annoying, but you find you can't live without his quirks.
Personality:
A kind-hearted soul, Alec only fits the old person stereotyping by his boring descriptions of his adventures. And that's only sometimes. He's quick-witted, loyal, trustworthy, hilarious...if you can survive long enough to know him, since he's always in the front lines.
Biography:
Alec was aboard the Skylark when it first crashed at the ripe old age of thirteen years old. He only remembers a little of what happened. After all, it did happen more than fifty years ago. He does remember grabbing a punch gun, blasting open the escape pod, and running like Forest Gump from a bunch of slimes he had thought was gelatin and had naturally investigated a bit closer. This event forever destroyed the path of the scientist. To heck with the monsters. They'll all die if they burn enough. He, along with the handful of other young adolescents, was placed into a much more military-based regime school than the intellectual one on the spacecraft. The Spiral Order desperately needed new knights, and it needed them PRONTO. Alec starred in his class, using his environment to route his opponents, even bringing the instructor to a stalemate. Fast forward a few years. Alec is now twenty. He can officially go out on Cradle to kill stuff and bring back their dead bodies for money. His first place to go to? His old escape pod. He slaughtered the slimes. Karma's a jerk. Having applied for a Striker career, Alec often found himself leading the charge into enemy territory, making and losing friends as quickly as a toddler can turn a spotless kitchen into a warzone of food. The Citadel. Wildwoods. Jelly Palaces. Shadow Lairs. Grand Arsenal. Ironclaw Munitions Factories. Alec eventually befriended and married a fellow Striker, Arya Kottell. As of right now, they have no plans to retire, and have virtually no communication whatsoever. He just hopes she's OK.
I have no plans to add in Arya besides a letter perhaps, so that's why I didn't write out her as well.
Hooray! I kind of feel bad for Game of Death, but its title suggests its passing. Now, to catch up on the story!
If I'm correct, it's currently "night" on Cradle. Since the war will resume during the day, does that mean that most of the character interaction will be from nighttime scenarios?
I just realized, I forgot to put in her armour - the things I mentioned were costume ._.
Sunset Stetson/Duster?
And as I said before, I'll be on Wednesday xD
@Thin: Ultima, Topo and I can't really do anything unless Olivia responds to Jack's question, thereby resuming the story....
I decided to add another character to add a little something else to the story. So at, we've got a tsundere and yandere, but no moes! Well, that's about to change! The deadly triple threat is complete!
________
Identifier: Nicknamed "White Lightning" for her deadly combo; wielding the Final Flourish and Fearless Rigadoon in tandem.
Name: Yuuki Inamura
Gender: female
Age: 19, only a year older than Zero
Rank: Champion
Role: Striker
Appearance: Yuuki is a shy young girl, whose jet-black hair is cut short and messy, usually covering her right eye. She has light, chestnut brown eyes and a permanently happy grin plastered on her face.
Loadout: Seraphic Set, Final Flourish, Fearless Rigadoon
Personality: Yuuki is an enormous klutz, always tripping over and breaking things, yet somehow, she gets away with it, because she always gets so flustered and embarrassed when she makes a mistake, guys go nuts for her. She's always shy, sweet, kind, and apologetic, using the phrase, "Oh, I'm so sorry!" more than anyone else on Cradle. You'd classify her as a moe (just google it). Fun fact: she has enormous crushes on both Jack and Eren, yet the two never seem to realize it. Which is ironic, considering the countless guys that have a crush on her, yet she never realizes it.
Combat style: stays true to the striker stereotype, rushing in and mowing down everything in her path. She tends to use her Final Flourish more for counterstrikes, parries, and blocks, while her Fearless Rigadoon is her main offensive, hack-n-slash weapon. When you put those two together, she is a force to be reckoned with... That is, if she doesn't end up tripping and messing up on the battlefield.
Biography: Hails from the peaceful, more quiet section of Haven (the area with Bechamel and Brinks), and was a standard small-town girl, not really venturing out of the small part of Haven she lived in. Her mother was a wonderful chef and wife, who taught her daughter manners and the secret to her to-die-for-because-they're-so-good recipe for brownies. Yuuki's father was in the military, as was her grandfather and great-grandfather, so, when her dad died in combat, she decided to follow that profession and signed up at the age of 16. Immediately, she fell for the silent, mysterious, socially awkward Zero, yet at the same time, swooned over the handsome Blue Rose knight, Jack. Despite her constant efforts to get one of them to notice her, both treat her like a little sister (despite the fact that she's a year older than both of them). Yuuki even tried to become a famous soldier, yet despite her deadly reputation in combat (except for the occasional trip-fall-cry incidents), the two boys still treat her as a friend, nothing more. What's a girl to do?
Some relationship drama, eh? This ought to be interesting!
*Grabs bag of popcorn and sits down*
I think that what drew many people to those RPs was the heavily detailed and planned storyline, and the fact that they did not have any restrictions on creativity. You could literally use any power you liked in those RPs, which is what I liked the most. :3
I have just found a friend that I once liked, that just swore at me. That, reminded me of how friendship is important, in that kind of way.
Friends again?
*Plus, don't outshine Carter. He doesn't like that.*
..here I go :o
Forgot to add another thing (you'd think I were rushed or something when I made it); she. loves. books.
And I'm assuming there's a library somewhere in Haven.
And yes, my writing style is horrible.
To be honest, your writing style wasn't half-bad (or even a quarter - BADUM-tsss). Better than mine, at least :P
@Sandwich xD Thanks - though I'd disagree as to whose is better :P
I kept doing different things... Talking to someone, running towards a lift, close call, looking around, going back down, rescuing someone, helping other knights... you get the message...
@Sandwich-Potato: There is a easy way to type out Remiliaoftheearth... Remilia of the earth, but it's normally stuck together...
I don't know. I'm not inclined to let people manage 2 characters at a time. Besides, we have quite a lot of players as it is. But at the same time, I'm sure you can handle 2 characters simultaneously.
Okay. Your character is accepted.
I need another mod to help me out. Any volunteers?
@Sandwich-Potato Your writing is good, I have to say, but your character seems to be doing everything too flawlessly. Too generic-moviestar-amazing.
@Creeperlucario Your descriptions of scenes is a bit confusing, and the fact that's it's always one large paragraph doesn't help either.
I only talk to you two because you've seen my guy. :P
I would like to apply for the moderator position, Thin:
PROS:
-I check the thread several times per day.
-When bored, I usually expand upon my character tremendously (Game of Death, Alec).
-I want to be a mod - thus, my work will not be hindered by any reluctance to work as one.
-I don't get corrupted. The government shutdown as of right now has snapped any thoughts of corruption out of my brain. :P
CONS:
-My sense of humor can get a bit ridiculous at times, as in absolute cheesiness. (See my Lionheart Blade, Strikers, and chairs (oh my!))
*Crosses fingers*
EDIT: @Playerman, in just a second I'm going to fix that >:D...
EDIT 2: Mwhahaha! I never give my characters a break!
Meh. Making people feel bad for a character by having a parent, or spouse, (possibly) die is still kind of generic. :P
True, but what else could happen during war? :P
Thought!
-Haven is invaded by a Popcorn People race, and they capture and mentally torture Alec.
No? D:
Sure. :)
I also think it'd be better if we were friends than enemies. :3
Anyway, I'll be careful not to make Jack outshine Carter. But you have to make sure Carter doesn't outshine Jack either! :P
Sorry for not replying so much, guys. My timezone is terrible, because when you're posting, I'm usually either out or asleep.
Co-moderator! Yippee!
On another note, who else is a mod? I know you and Topo are, but is there anyone else?
Waiting for someone to notice the swarm slowly corrupting my character...
Actually, I don't think Topo is a mod of Shadows of the Void. He's a mod of Game of Death.
You're the only other mod here.
So, where is currently under attack?
I assume the camp where people posted getting drinks at the Bar is. Seeing as (I think) a Dreadnaught has shown up (still?).
Not to mention the fact that Olivia reminds Zero of his (now dead) girlfriend.... Alcohol and reminders of past emotional trauma don't go very well together. Zero's just barely maintaining his sanity.
