I kind of assumed that the camp was going to sleep, save for a few knights who were keeping guard and exchanging a round every now and then. I assume the Deadnaught, since it was apparently Void, was teleported by The Swarm, which seems to be growing stronger. I don't think there is an attack, just some night knights (BADUM-tsss) taking pot shots at the gremlins occasionally.

mmk.

Righto, going to have my OC try and find out somewhere to go after making his "thing" from the on-site workshop.
Maybe go after the escort squad, based on what he was listfully listening in on at the Bar, and Elevator logs he should be able to access.
A tech that cant open Elevator Travel Logs? Pffft, who's ever heard of that?

Need to think of some way to get down there with their elevator stuck.

Save me :L ((update 2x))

Identifier: Number 123. Has forgot her name but tends to just respond to the cruel names those hae given her. (Real Name: Fatia Y. Floga.)

Gender: Female

Age: 31

Rank: Soldier

Role: Trooper

Appearance: Always has its body pertected in Fire retardent clothing. Has a Tank on its back making her Hunch over slightly. Carries around a couple of Fire Bombs but uses them more for display.

Eyes: Red, left eye is burned white.

Hair: To Shoulders, black.

Height 5' 7"

Weight 133 LBS (Mid Frame. Body Mass Index)

Loadout: Fire Retardent Suite, Home made Flamethrew Registured with Spiral Order. Fire Bombs for Tight situations. Rocket Hammer (Basicly a stolen Blue Print Remake of the same weapon) ((Fire Suite: Vog Cub Coat, Vog Cub Cap with the points more angled down))

Personality: Will sit and listen to some one while flicking a Liter. Is not very big on talking, infact she rarely talks. Does not like to be alone. On the battle Field, tends to be more sneeky and gets behind people. Off the battle field, tends to stay around people. Will not act agressively leading one to believe she dose not have a mental condition. Is intransed by Fire.

Biography: #123 was once a normal woman just alike everyone else, till one say something in her mind just snapped. When it did all she could see was fire, even to this day she still does not talk but watch fires burn. Having spent over Three years in Prison for the Arson of the School she went too resulting in the death of a handful of people the Firebug regrets nothing. One look a her medical History and one would see in bold Print 'MENTALLY INSANE BUT STILL SENSIBLE.' After her time in the Hospital Mental Medical ward she was sent to Train as a Striker, having an afinity for causing fires. It took her about two years to build her weapon from scratch but once it was made she held a home made Flame throw that is currently registured with the Spiral order. Because of her bad tendinces it has been requested that squad members stay away or discourage from contacting her during battle.

((Thin I hope this is Okay. Ask me for any Details.))

Hooray for Alec, a person who knows when he needs help!

Alec knows he's currently outmatched by the Void Gremlins. If trained, he could probably defeat them, but the reason he failed so badly was because:

A. He had been getting (unconsciously) overconfident of his fighting abilities over the mooks, and that made him experiment with crazy stunts that decimated Gremlins yet left him vulnerable. Since the Gremlins weren't as skilled as he, they didn't take advantage of it. But The Swarm did.

B. He didn't have a good sparring partner as strong as he to practice fighting. Everyone knows that without practice for too long, you start to get worse and worse. Which was exactly what had happened with Alec.

C. There is no C! It is only here to make the list longer.

D. There was also a series of unfortunate events, including:
-Low ammunition
-The attack taking Alec off guard
-The immunity to Alec's normal Valiance shots.
-Alec having used up most of his dash charge (couldn't dash away from attacks and lunged back)

Thus, Alec is now in the camp looking for someone to spar with. If he can't find anyone, he'll take a brief Clockworks adventure to relax his nerves. Too bad the Clockworks are ticked off at every living thing now.

Ooh, I can try to critique you like Thin!

Identifier: A bit typical :P, but pass.

Gender: Pass.

Rank: Wait a sec. If this woman is crazy, why would the Spiral Order let her be a Vanguard or even have any rank at all? I'll let it pass with a recommendation to lower the rank slightly, not from skills or gear but from mental issues.

Appearance: No-go. As Thin said, please state things such as:
-Hair color
-Eye color
-Height
-Weight

Loadout:
Rocket Hammer: Pass.
Fire bombs: Pass.
Outfit: Pass.
Flamethrower: Like Thin with Zero, I have no idea what to make of your flamethrower. Pass, I suppose.

Personality: No-go. You need to add some more details about say...her kindness, shyness, etc.

Biography: Pass.

About the Swarm

@Creeperlucario: The Swarm doesn't travel TO Swarm Seed, it travels FROM it, because the seed is an infection carrier. Also, you're not fooling the Swarm into thinking you're allied; the Void knows pretty darn well whether it can or can't control you.

So if the Swarm is ignoring you, be afraid, be VERY afraid, and watch your back!

@Sandwich-Potato: We actually use 100% of our brains.

Fudge, I messed up didn't I :P. Is The Swarm more like a computer mind (super-fast reaction speeds, but can't predict what human emotions will cause a human to do) or is it more sentient, like a human?

Also, I did my first review of an application! Hooray! Thin, you should probably double-check me to make sure my decisions are agreeable with you. Not sure if I made the best decisions.

Well as the title says. Her personallity would match that of a relapsed mental defective who can do battle field thinking. After that it would only be a matter of Rank. She is crazy, but if she is effective I would say Soldier to one step higher would be right.

Question about Weapons & My Tech.

Ok, so my tech has made 2 weapons after having access to a workshop for some time.
Would it be ok for him to use the weapons, not based on experience, but:
-That he knows how they work/behave from him being the one who designed/created them.
-His research and mechanical experience on how to work on and with slug-based weaponry. (Magnus Line, Antigua, etc).
-From the Tests he's done with his weapons from his time in Emberlight, after each design. (Cannon Test is what made his right arm kablooey).

Other Guns and All melee weapons he wouldnt be able to use, obviously.
But would this be ok?

Hmmm. Although it says that Technicians can not use any weapons, I always thought that they could use something (in an inexperienced manner) as self-defense if say, a Dust Bunny attacks and they grab a nearby weapon and smash it into more dust.

We have to know Fatia's age, but you are free to make it unknown to her.

Dual Striker-Trooper roles are not allowed. You cannot be a Trooper with a Striker Boost or a Striker with a Trooper's shield (overpowered), and Strikers should not fight like Troopers (dangerous). No two roles may be mixed.

Her Age is 31, and I did not mean a Dual class, I left it with 2 because I my self am not sure which one she would be as. Since her weapon is best used for ambushing and hit and run. Striker seems more right since she would need to be able to move quickly, while at the same time she would also be seen and become rather a nice Target after notes.

Will fix it once I get a heads or tales, but for right now I am going to say Striker if only because she needs speed to be most effective with her weapon set.

I think that the roleplays you've stated had a really detailed and compelling storyline, one that would attract even the most critical critic. It also allowed the players to have any power they wished, which did not restrict creativity and led the players to compare their powers in the RP, making it more interesting than it was.

Perhaps our next roleplay should be extremely detailed, and allow any powers to be used(except overpowered stuff like reality warping or controlling all forms of energy or etc) What do you think?

I think that the sheer amount of creatures you mentioned is insane:
-20 Caravons? From one summon? And with the Clockworks Adaptions, they also have shields on their back. A bit OP, in the scheme of things. Picture:
Zombies are deadly. More so with Curse, Shields, and much more damage since the Clockworks adaption. Your Kat summoned 20, which at this stage is probably enough to wipe out the entire team of players here.
-If my character, a Striker who has been fighting for decades, has trouble with three Void Gremlins, how would you and 20 zombies be able to beat a Void Deadnaught, Void Crusaders (which are much more dangerous than them Gremlins), and the rest of the damn Void army?
-Where did the Black Kat come from? Remember, this RP is not linked with Game of Death.

As a co-mod, I bring the hammer of justice, the sword of non-overpowered stuff, the daggers of chivalry, the mace of fairness towards other players, the shield of blocking overpowered summons (cough), the...uh...quarterstaff of Stopthisisridiculousyourkatshouldn'tbesooverpowered, the pike of something is fishy with your OP abilities (BADUM-tsss), the polearm of poking holes in other people's posts (BADUM-tsss), the wand of experienced characters shouldn't be bested by some random Kat, the...the...the axe of AXEing people to stop with the OP stuff (BADUM-tsss), the scythe of questioning how a kat was able to block a Deadnaught spear (Void too) and not really care, the the uh...I give up.

Seriously, though, Lucario. Long story short: OP Kat. OP number of zombies. Maybe your Kat can summon a Carnavon every 20 seconds or so, but more than that is quite unfair towards other players. Even Jack has mental issues.

Let's see why the swarm want Nights dead
1. She takes really injured knights to safety where the swarm can't reach them
2. Her shield can heal knights and send them back into battle providing they didn't suffer cuts
3. The swarm usually takes advantage of injured knights like Nights right now with 2 cuts and a frozen leg...

Everything else is fixed on the post and lowered the enemies...

Plot movement

I'd intended this roleplay to be more intellectual in nature, but it seems to have gotten bogged down in endless combat. Does nobody want to be a researcher? I'm glad someone decided to be a technician, but there's really not enough non-combat personnel to make the story work.

It'll take more than a biotech and technician to open the Core, I'll give you that much.

@Sandwich-Potato: One of your jobs as moderator is to guide the players through the story. Most mods do so by describing the environment and handling an army of NPCs. My preferred method is to describe the environment and gameplay through a leading character, in this case Astran or Olivia.

Either way, your help is needed to move things along. I've kinda got writer's block. :3

Could you help me think of plot ideas for the new RP? :P

I'm thinking that each character's powers would be different in the new RP, which would make every character unique. :3

The storyline I've thought up(though is still a work in progress) should be that magic is common, though since everyone has different mageblood, they all control/manipulate different things.(plus, I reserve the control over primordial chaotic darkness. :P)

Roleplay ideas

I was thinking in taking it a different direction. Battle sprites would be the central plot drivers; they would be reasonably sentient, unable to speak, exceptionally powerful, and highly versatile. Unlike in-game, they can collide with solid objects, and they can be damaged by enemy attacks. Similarly, they can fight back, and with more than just their in-game powers; they can punch, bite, ram, and use their primary attacks much more often. They can deploy their other abilities on other people besides just their owners; a Drakon, for example, could deploy a barrier on his owner's friend.

More importantly, they must face the greatest challenge of their existence: staying loyal to their owners. The Clockworks has somehow been able to draft all sentient creatures to its side, and even the knights have succumbed at times (they're called "Trojans"). The sprites must resist the treacherous influence and stay true to their bond, or corrupt and turn on their former masters. Like the Trojans, some have already fallen.

This RP is a good deal more intellectual. Enemies will not be encountered in hordes, but rather in small groups of unique individuals. The first gremlin you face may be very different from the next, and the one after that may someday become your friend. The wolver you let escape today may become your pet tomorrow. The devilite your killed could have been Krogmo's son.

It's not just the enemies that are different; the Clockworks itself is different. The levels themselves move and change. Do you go for the treasure now and hope the level doesn't change, or do you forgo the wealth to make sure you reach the elevator before it rotates away? What happens when all the gates are aligned in a particular way?

Then there's the additional powers. Some knights have been able to duplicate and utilize the powers their battle sprites have, and have even managed to create some new ones. This is essentially your "magic."

Players could be Recon Rangers, Spiral Marines, Wardens, or whatever the heck they want to be. They could carry striker boosts, recon cloaks, guardian shields, or all three if they wanted. Battle sprites could wield all their type's ultimates simultaneously (e.g. Concussive Meteoric Firebolt). Equipment works the way you want it to, not necessarily the way the game says it should.

Roll-play Ideas

That's cool. :)

However, I was thinking about it for a while, and thought of something:

Battle Sprites are actually robots. As such, they do not have actual magic in them.I think the core's constant discharge of electrical energy throughout the atmosphere is what actually gives them more power to do functions they can. Their 'magic' is simply advanced science created by Isorans, is it not?

I don't really like the idea of Battle Sprites being the main characters in the story, because not controlling humans and/or relying on mechanical entities for survival is quite weird to me.

The magic I'm talking about is born into everyone, though they all have different mageblood and as such, have different abilities. Here, the main plot drivers instead of the battle sprites, would be the mages. The Mages have to constantly fight back the swarm, which has developed so much that the swarm has even copied the bodies of Isorans. The plot should be something along the lines of this, I guess.

But anyway, I'll state some magic types I could think of:

Primordial Chaotic Darkness
Primordial Holy Light
Fire Manipulation
Ice Manipulation
Earth Manipulation
Air Manipulation

Ah...

Alright. I might as well make a new character as a...say...Biotech.

Name: GoawayIhavaheadache Johnson. AKA Hava.

Sprite: E-Class, called StoptheritualIateabug. AKA Stug. Level 74, MSI low.

Gender: Male.

Age: 42

Rank: Knight

Role: Biotech

Appearance:

Loadout: A bag of generic scientist things, like power scanners, microscopes, etc.
-Wolver armor, coat and cap.
-An Owlite shield.
-A penta-heart trinket.

Personality: Timid until known, cynical, pessimistic. Logical, clear-headed, solves riddles quickly.

Biography: His parent, wanting to stick to the older traditions of ritual-naming, hired an Emberlight Gremlin. Bad mistake. The Gremlin sucked at his job, but it was already too late. The papers had been signed by that name. Same with his Sprite. Growing up, he always wondered what the heck was wrong with that shaman in his brain, so he began to study Gremlin habits, intelligence, psychological ability, etc. Finding that he rather enjoyed this study, he enrolled in The Plot Hook Cause I'm Lazy, a prestigious school for aspiring Biotechs. As of right now, he currently works in the front lines, where he can get the most specimens of creatures to study (say, a Void Wolver).

Salvage operation

Before we move on to another RP, I think we should salvage this one. Sandwich-Potato, your writing skills will be required for this operation.

So here's the intended plot. The Clockworks is bogged down in combat, and the knights are losing. They need to get off Cradle really soon, which won't happen unless the Core opens. The Artifact is related to the Core, but nobody knows how. I have a working theory, which will be revealed over time as the plot progresses. Olivia, Astran, Eren, Jack, and Yuuki must figure this out.

Meanwhile, the defending knights must hold back the enemy, or even push it back if possible. The knights need to adapt, which is only possible if they know how their enemies work (hint: biotechs).

For reference.

Well let me make a Bio-Tech. ((Update))

Name:
-Diastima R. Floga. AKA, Number 284.

Gender:
-Male.

Age:
-37

Rank:
-Knight Elite

Role:
-Bio-Tech

Appearance:
-Eyes: Red.
-Hair: Black, cut in a Military style.
-Height: 6' 11"
-Weight: 225 LBS.

Loadout:
-Head: Spiral Pith Helm. (Binocular Visor, and Com Unit. Working as part of the suite.)
-Armor: Spiral Brigandine. (Vitakit, Parrying Blade. Vitakit for aiding Knights, blade for good luck not really used.)
-Weapon: Null.
-Hold: Power scanner, binocular visor.

Personality:
-Talkative unless working. Likes to be with his sister. Does not like fire. Tends to run from fights or at least stay in the back to study the enemy's movements. Is a Quick worker but takes time before coming to a conclusion.

Biography:
-Having Studied for over twenty-five years Diastima has become a well respected Bio-tech, being the first or second to a new area to study what can be seen. However, he still keeps tabs on his sister who was locked up when she was young for setting fire to everything around her. Acting more like her care taker since she was dis-owned by most her family. Up to the present the Biotech has done everything in his power to study and understand the clockworks, but like most things its still a big mystery. This has not discouraged him, rather made him more excited to study what is down there. And one day stand side by side the other Knights as they finally crack open the core and get Alpha Squad home.

-He has his P.H.D in Science's of Cradle as well as Monster atonimy, but his experties are more prominet in the lab then on the field as his best work was centered around the study and creation of new weapons as well as having a hand in programming the battle sprites before they mutated into the creatures now. His biggest achievement in his personal note book was finding out the door shaped objects that seem to dot the Core. Its his belief that there is a Key some were on Cradle to open the core, but what scares him is the fact that some one would make a lock to such a power source and then hide the key.

Also Sandwich-Potato

#123 is currently in the Arcade, looking around for something to burn. As it stands she does have the com. device open but does not know about it. Ontop of that, her mental condition. So speaking to her would need to be done in a calm tone of voice. Other wise she freaks out, not her fault, but because of the loud noises she thinks someone is yelling at her and starts lashing out. However if some one could calmly lead her down to where-ever you all are, she could help. Since she does have a battle field presence, she thinks more clearly the more burning that happens since it is like her security blanket.

Yo, I put up something with Fatia. Seems making a distress call only put her in distress. Also put up a new app for a BioTech as well as a Keeper for Fatia when she is not in Prison. But seems like you need to aprove him first, as well as Ozlo would need to warn him. Some one would need to warn him.
