I think it would be nice if there a expansion where you play a gremlin.
Like the normal game but with other weapons, story and (for example) Emberlight as your base.
What do you think about that ?

Mmm, imagine dual welding grim repeaters or blitz/plague needles...
Or you could be like me, and combine random weapons like Callahan and biohazard for a really strange experience.
As for the actual thread, this game is Spiral Knights. We are characterized by our Knight and their place in the Spiral order. I can't see us being able to change species in this game unless impostocubes start shaving their mustaches.

I'm not sure why so many people hate this idea...not that I like it. Plus, it'd take a long time to make a separate set of missions, weapons, etc. Time that could be used to update other, more important things. Finally, the game is called Spiral Knights, not The Crimson Order...

We don't dislike the idea, we dislike people who suggest something that has been suggested heaps of times before (because it's NOT original and anyone who plays the game could think it up) without searching previous threads or putting any detail into it (when previous thread makers have actually put time and effort into making their threads worthwhile reads)

Guys, guys...
lets stop hating on it and accept some facts....
Number 1, yes, they did in fact add pets, guild hall, and remove energy and, lets face it, they did it well and the game continues despite rage quits. If they added dual wielding, I'd give it a try. If they added this, I'd give it a try.
Number 2, yes, I am completely and utterly opposed. If you want this, make a new game, call it "Ember Gremlins," I don't care, but playing gremlins is not Spiral Knights, as cool an idea as it is.
and Number 3, do your research before posting. I look forward to finding gremlin, or magic, or any other cliche suggestion, because I want to hear something new.
I want to hear what new items/ideas you are bringing to the subject. I do not want to hear a two sentence pointless (and already posted) idea. Think it out.
