Better do it fast, Cicero is BLEEDING FROM THE JUGULAR!
Return to Cradle 2 Discussion Thread (apps open)
Bleeding from the jugular is definitely going to kill you in moments, and neither Vog nor Freya have any healing abilities.
When he dies, I have a cool idea for dialogue with Vog. It is sorta my shtick. When he dies, he gets sent back by Vog after a creepy conversation.
Revival by the beast you're cursed with. That's actually fairly original.
Really!? OH GOSH GOLLY TIDDLYWINKS!
Circa:
Spawn, Drake of the 99 Dragons, (in a since) The Matrix, Deadpool (Respawn from regeneration of the smallest living cell in his body), Slade (Tean Titans). ETC
Nope Original.
77 new posts... aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh.
I don't even know how to have renao do anything right now, since she's still at the arcade, and I'm a terrible roleplayer, because I manage to become inactive very easily and ARGH, FAMILY.
That was...weird at best. Disgusting at worst.
Unexpected. But unique. Well played, Thin.
ARGH!
Damien.exe has stopped working. Would you like to wait for it to continue, or end program?
Wow. I have been traumatized.
0___o
Yes, and by now its more then likely beasts have been stunned and humans are holding their ears in pain unless they covered them xD
@Liminori I think that fire Blesse made is still raging in the Arcade.
On the subject of possessions, what else has the power to possess or inhabit a body? Do Apocreans have certain powers like that?
We should be able to ride narwhals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ermahgosh, OOO ad dis r else!
Um, I am not sure about the Apocreans mind control thing. That's more for Thin to answer. If it was the case, Blesse is waring Apocrean type armor, I am sure she would have cracked long ago.
As for the fire, I very much doubt it. After all Blesse has a limited range.
Also Malk/Captain-Llama-Bra/who ever you want to be today: The HUD Does not cancel out noise. Knights don't have anything that can block out audio as well so I believe you are wrong about being safe from the full effect of the over baring tone.
Mind control is essentially partial-possession, or a semi-bonding weave. Just like its stronger cousin, it is a two-way street; the controller and the controlled both influence each other. Who controls who is determined by whoever has the stronger mind.
Apocreans generally cannot perform this kind of weave, though there are undoubtedly a few exceptions.
Lore-wise, mind control is highly dangerous and should not be done lightly. Just like with possession, if the bond is severed improperly, there may be severe repercussions on the mental states of the participants, though it's unlikely to be life-threatening since the bond isn't as complete.
*trips down Endless Flight of Stairs I had installed last week* ;-;
EDIT TO LATEST POST: The separate Xindaos ARE Xindao. They are in no way separate to an original Xindao, as they are all original. They will be referred to as:
Benevolence-Bronze
Malevolence-Magenta
Incontrovertibly-Indigo
A blind man who uses sound to see around. Was he effected by the PA Bell program?
No, he sees only his justifications. Nothing else.
He's also on the last level of the Gloaming Wildwoods. Dunno if bells from upper levels reach there...so I didn't add it. u____u
Its the PA system of the clockworks. I believe every level was hit.
I know nothing of PA systems. I add to post.....
Well it can be assumed their is a type of PA system that spans the Clockworks. This being stated I am sure there are limits to what it can do that we will find out about in the story.
Also, really? Going that far because of a two second sound.
On a side note: Why dose everyone assume that the levels are only a couple of yards above each other. (Trigger rant of the moment) If it where to be true to it's self the Levels are spaced out from each other surrounded by a sphere which contains within it the level and gives it the skydom and look. IN this case the Woods would have a sky box of a night sky. Standing more around two Hundred yards apart (not from top to bottom but from level to the sphere it's self. This means that the Clockworks are hollow below but connected by some kinda device that connects the levels together as well as keeps them from falling down on one another.
Keeping that in mind I really do have to ask, what kinda person can jump that high (600ft [182.88m]) in the air and live to tell the tale. As stated before the Clockworks are clearly contained inside of some kinda sphere, this means that each sphere has a gravitation regulation device to keep you from getting crushed by the G-forces which would be pulling down on you (and increasing as you went down). So in retrospect messing with anything like that could kill you also, I am more then sure the air outside of the Sphere's is a little thin for 'HUMANS' to breath and work in. It makes since for Gremlins (Smaller, don't need a lot of Oxygen) to survive in the outside worlds.
Cutting anything could cause explosive decompression or perhaps slowly start to destroy the environment. The Clockworks are ripped from other lands ja? So who is to say the land is still their but your just passing threw it in these Sphere's. Mess with a wrong wire and you could be stuck there, or could cause a singularity to happen breaking the laws of Quantum Physics. When it comes to the device's of the Gremlins I tend to think simplicity went into this and the levels are still in there home worlds, your just visiting by going threw the levels inside a Sphere which acts like a temporal matter displacement unit shifting you into that world and place both a entrance and a Exit in their as well. (in-game=/=lore) Other wise humans could not really love that far below the Surface of planet with out looking like a pancake or equivalent of, the gravity is too damned high.
Sorry for nerding out their but I have to ask, cutting something as advanced in tech as that could kill you all. Besides, this is the future...Wire for a PA system? I believe we can all agree it is more likely wifi or radio connection...There is a reason I am having Blesse use the PA system. For the fight with Snarby to counter act the shadow cloak it has which makes it take no damage (Ya I just said in-game does not equial lore but we can all agree the Snarby has rather thick coat and only stunned can you get to it's weak softer under coat.)
Ohmygod I will just delete it if it's that big of a deal. O_O
Its not, its just time for my rant...I felt much better after getting it off my shoulders.
Malk, got found out...To be honest he did give himself away here unless we have a snitch!
/facepalm
/deep inhale
You can't be serious!
Also, how did Cicero know Jax was there?
Looks like we failed to conceal him.
Now our Roleplay might die. ;-;
It's on it's deathbed. ;-;
Wahhhhhhhhhhhh........
Its okay Seatus. We did nothing, but that does not mean we can't do anything. All we can do is keep going on with the Roleplay and hope that one day he will see the error's of his ways.
Which may take a while because... well, it's Malkalack.
Yeah...I was still in the bushes...How did he know I was there?
I don't know how he knew Jaxter was there. I guess I somehow missed the part where you were hidden. Shall I redact it?
So, There's Gwen AND Freya? They seem to be the same person... I'm so confused. Can you point me to a few posts? It'd help clear some things up, But if it's your "Trump Card" So to speak, Feel free not to reveal/hint at anything.
Just a question, is the infection thats infecting snarble contagious?
And if so, is it on-contact only, or short range airbourne..or..?
Im planning things for Anguis...
Need to know things.
I'm prepared to begin again if anyone else is...
@Liminori: Gwen is the spirit of the Core. Her body, or "avatar", is/was Queen Freya. They are different & separate people.
@Edolas: Sir Snarble is infected by Dark Matter, which only takes effect if it enters the bloodstream. And being solid matter, it shouldn't be airborne unless it's somehow ground to powder or evaporated from whatever moist substance it has infected. So it won't be contagious except on exchange of bodily fluids, like if one takes a bite out of the other.
Ask me, I am kinda into the Dark matter stuff. Trust me, look at Blesse I kinda what her to get some Dark matter in her system, it would be interesting to see how it effects her ability.
I was going to say in the darkest parts of the clockworks after being on the planet for ten years. After her first ten years she went into the darker parts of the clockworks. Staying their for the next fifteen years its how she got her current set. The last five years she mvoed in with the Gremlins in Emberlight trying to get suited for coming back up to the surface.
Well you said "some where you have already gone" so I assumed you were talking about Sono.
I'll abide by the TOS, but aside from that, no promises. :P
