I put these, so far as I could put them together, up on the "Vendor" page. Which might not be the best possible place; I'll leave that to more experienced editors.

"this sword does a moderate amount of damage" "this gun has fairly high dps" "this charge attack does a tremendous amount of damage!" ... What exactly is anyone getting from the sort of vague explanations of weapon damage we've been using in the wiki so far?

If we moved the stats picture to be above the item screenshot the stats would line up on every page. This would allow rapidly switching between two browser tabs to see how the bars change. Another way of achieving this would be to make all the screenshots the same size. Does anyone else think that this is a good idea?

Currently, the Heavy Plate Mail's picture is actually that of the Boosted Plate Mail (I'm wearing it ingame right now as a costume)

I don't actually know what the Heavy Plate Mail looks like, but I assume that the two just have swapped images on the wiki.

Every one of the single equipment pages (sword, gun, shield) are flooded with a list that is way to long for the article. the only photos on the pages are that of each equipment, and not one in action at the top. The best way to solve the crowding of these pages are to split the pages into main pages that describes in more detail the functions (with pictures of examples) and effects of the piece of equipment(i.e.

Hello there. I'm a player who actually wants to contribute to the wiki, and would gladly do so, except for one problem:

I have little to no clue as to actually use/edit the wiki effectively. This includes well, virtually everything. I'm sure that some others are also in the same boat.

This is why I'm asking if someone could point out or give a wiki tutorial on these forums, or heck, even on the wiki itself. (It IS directly related to spiral knights) That way it'd be easier for players to contribute to the wiki. (After all the game does directly encourage players to do so.)

I used to attempt to help people in Technical Support, but I usually ended up making things more confusing/not adding anything of value. Most of the time, I was pointing people to the Technical help sticky, as well as performance issues FAQ in the wiki, so...

I think the Technical Issues FAQ and the Performance Issues FAQ should be merged.

* Why is Gate Construction still under Basic Training, and not Gate? Gate Construction is an advanced topic that's only going to interest a fraction of the playerbase.

* Damage should be linked, as well as either 1) the status conditions, or 2) a general Status Conditions page (which doesn't seem to exist).

* Token should probably be linked under the Equipment section (can go next to Trinkets and even out that table).

is no longer part of the Plate alchemy path, the recipes no longer appear at vendors, and is only obtainable with Almirian Seals.
