ok today i unistalled and reinstalled steam then i unistalled spiral knights then reinstalled it and restarted my computer. everything i try it seems to always look like C:\Users\woods\Pictures\spiral knights pic.jpg this anybody know why?
I have been having a problem with my sk game play every minute or so everything (enemies and players) walks of the map. I was wondering if it was just my desktop not having a dedicated graphics card or my internet connection. When i switch to my laptop (which was stolen yesterday) I don't have this problem at all.
My desktop spec :
windows 7 (64 bit)
16 gigs of ram
Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000
I’ve been having trouble trying to open Spiral Knights, I downloaded the client and then tried to login, it takes ages to login and then it usually comes up with the error such as: "Failed to connect to the server", "You have been disconnected from the server" or "Unable to connect to the server" something to do with servers..
I was doing OCH, when at the end of the first level, i invited some of my guildies. We all stepped on to the elevator. I then got kicked out by your servers, with three ping bars the entire run. I tried to log back on, but this (first few lines of post 10) happened, so I couldn't go back to the game without closing SK. Since I closed SK, I could not claim the WRH or the DR.
I open SK, i log in, i select my knight and then I select my knight. It say "Entering Ready Room" and then i wait, and wait and wait. then i restart it, but no, it just says and and my knight just stands there showing off his gran faust? The game just continues the same way.
So I'm attempting to do an installation of Spiral Knights on Ubuntu 12.04.
I followed the instructions on http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Installation_FAQ.
I downloaded and updated Java per those instructions.
Ran:
sudo sh /home/[user]/spiral-install.bin.
When it asked for the version of JVM I wanted to use entered the following:
/usr/lib/jvm/java-7-oracle
Asked me where I wanted to install:
/home/[user]/spiral (This is a folder I put in my user's directory to make sure I had write access as that was giving me problems with the installer before)
