And here I thought I've seen it all. Just in-case someone might suggest the obvious (which a GM also recommended), I already tried re-installing the game twice and it didn't change anything

Why would an update take this long - just asking, seems a bit odd to be honest and its not decreasing either its just increasing more and more. Anyone else got a massive update?

ok im trying to reboot SK on my steam account...but it says "invalid path 'getdown.txt'. what do i do??...

does anyone have any info on when or if they are going to fix the elevator problems?

the game might as well be offline for the amount of things that can be done without elevators >.>

Every time there is a update it takes a long time. Around 30 mins to 1 hour. This shouldn't be happening since my computer is 2 years old and is pretty much in a good condition. I refreshed, un-installed and re-installed java and any spiral knights files. As soon as it reaches 74% it takes atleast an hour to load. Help!!!!!!

Today after the update I tried to move from Moorcroft to Power Complex-Slimeway in the Iron Clover gate and after clicking descend (and paying my 10 ME) the screen went black, showing only the descend arrow, and the level did not load. I was able to access the options menu by pressing escape, but I could not use and of the other hot-keys/access other menus. I returned to Haven, thinking that it might gave been just a weird fluke, but then it happened again.

I get black screen for whatever i try to do,

This is the single most laggy area of the game for me.

Without running game booster, it lags SO badly, that the system started sending me mail telling me I've been outbid despite the fact I was in the "My Bids" section. I was lagging so bad, the system thought I was logged out.

With game booster running it's not nearly as bad, but I still get 1 to 3 second long "freezes" in the game where even the music/sound effects stop.

I'm curious if there are any tricks I don't know to speed these things up, and/or what other's experiences are in this section of the game?

I was trying to send a mail message when the system told me the server encountered an unexpected error. I tried a few more times and figured maybe logging out and in would fix it.

However, trying to log in, it just says "logging in" and does not go anywhere. Curious if others are having this problem?
